Truly the most impressive thing included in this update. Also you're a real one for that profile picture.
If they have an Ovipositor, I assume so. I've never encountered a natural spawned enemy with an Ovipositor though, and haven't bothered to try it with my harem of test subjects.
Can anyone say how oviposition works? Never could get it to work in any way. I play as female btw.
It is possible, but not very likely.
The biggest issue is that no species seems spawns with an ovipositor, which is what is required to lay eggs. Spiders MIGHT, but I don't know, I can't remember the last time I dealt with a spider NPC.
So:
- You need to have a species that is an egg layer (or you transform some other species to be an egg layer).
- Said NPC needs to have a vagina. Sorry, but pure dudes cannot lay eggs in someone no matter how much you wish for it.
- The NPC in question needs to have an ovipositor. That meas you need to transform someone to have a dick and then apply the ovipositor TF to it OR you need to enlarge a female's clit to be big enough to penetrate and then make their clit an ovipositor.
-->>>This is the important bit, you need to impregnate that NPC. Once they are pregnant or at least has the 'risk of pregnancy' effect, you need to allow them to penetrate you with their ovipositor and they should lay their eggs in you.
You need to be able to impregnate someone that has an egg laying vagina.
If you only play female characters, you will need to use that amazon potion that allows females to impregnate other females, while sissoring or possibly clit fucking them. You can bring along a dick weilding companion, have them impregnate them and then ride said fem NPC's ovipositor and they could lay their eggs in you.
There are no NPCs in the game that 'just has eggs laying around' waiting to inject them into another character.
In order for a NPC to oviposit your character with eggs, they need to have an Ovipositor AND a vagina that has been impregnated.

Clothes and races and stuff have designated, relatively safe modding avenues via XML files. Characters and sidequests presently need intense brutalization of the source code to implement, which is why you don't see anything of that sort for this game.
As far as I know, you only need to able to have egg "pregnancy", egglaying, first (which you can get through vagina mutation), and then get an ovipositor organ through mutation (Which can be a penis or from clit granted you make your clit huge enough I think, I never done it through clit or tail, I just remember you can do it with tail as well).
Once you have the organs necessary the first thing you need to do is to be pregnant with eggs (the modifier for pregnancy, like 1st trimester, etc, changed to the egglaying one) and then before you had to go to "labor", you need to have sex with a person.
During sex, insert your ovipositor (clit or penis) to the target orifices (I don't think you can do it in a mouth, correct me if I am wrong) and then there should be an action to insert eggs. and there you go. you implant other with eggs, and you just need for them to hatch it (which AFAIK, is no different than how normal pregnancy for npc works)
If we're talking about how to get yourself pregnant with eggs, then all you need is just to change your genital to have capability of laying egg, have sex, and you got it. No need for the other partner to have ovipositor.

also as a software dev you usually only do such tiny changes when you are churning through bug requests.
Also as a side note the ovipositor setup is really "broken" if you come from other games like TiTS. Once you find/change somone they should always produce eggs. And its up to you, or whoever is carrying them to get them fertilized.

I might be making this up; but I thought, a long time ago, I saw a mod in the LT discord that made egg-layers generate unfertilized eggs over time that they could oviposit.
Might be worth having a look, but it might also be out of date by now...

if it exists it probably required a custom code mod which would make it very likely out of date.
Not really, you just need the mutations and doing the sex, and if you're playing the game, you will do the mutations and the sex anyway. It's not like you have to do certain quests to get the feature or anything, like Helene's slave market I think.

If there was such a mod, my guess is that it is going to be out of date and not compatible with the current version of the game. It's kind of sad, I really wouldn't mind some random oviposition action going on in the game, but the setup and the fact that the player has to initiate pretty much everything is rather disappointing right now.
Plus, from everything I hear about the Discord, all I need to do is make 1 misstep or say one wrong thing and get brow beaten and banned. It just doesn't seem like it is worth the effort to try going there, especially for an 'F95 user'.
Seriously why did they get an art update for content that is back burner-ed XD
