But there is the caveat that your discovered species can be shared across saves (though I don't remember if it's on by default), so as long you get the knowledge once, it's unlocked on every new save.I have no idea if it's still broken, as I usually don't play that way, but at least you cannot easily become a dragon anymore.
Transformations are now locked behind having advanced knowledge of a species (having read the book). Since there are no wild dragons, the only way to attain advanced knowledge of dragons now is to complete the quest of the dragon NPC in Elis.
You might be right that it would be a popular side content, if properly developed. But even if you were to do all the work yourself and hand it over today as a contribution ready to be merged in, it could take up to half a year for Inno to even grace it with her notice, an undetermined amount of time before she decides if she even wants it in, and easily two or more years after she approves it (if she does) before it might be merged in. And those are official timelines, assuming you do all the work and won't have to wait for someone else to pick it up, while Inno does not have the best track record with her own timelines.-snip-
Well, and it seems to me that the Magic Academy would be a fairly popular and favorite place, something that would be much more in demand than some secondary quests with a fairly narrow audience with specific fetishes.
Considering everything that I managed to read here about the frequency of updating the game and the content of these updates, I will probably sound strange, but I just wanted to express my thoughts after the first run on what content would be very relevant for the game.
But if you want to test your luck anyway, you can throw the idea around her Discord. If there is any chance of your idea making it in at any point, it's through her echo chamber.
