I’m not from North Korea so I can’t surely say but it really isn’t a Democracy as far as I know... and the game Dev stating itself as an RPG and North Korea as a Democracy as the same is going too far... If you don’t think it is, then that is your opinion of it since game does appear as an RPG opposed to North Korea appearing as a Democracy.

Well enough of that, I don’t wanna really delve into it too much... for now, I’m still looking forward in what the consequences of the choices I make would result down the line since I think this game is still in it’s early phase so deviations with the choices you make are still rather restricted and contained.

Anyway, back on topic. When Inno announced she was going to release more modding templates, I was expecting something a little meatier - like being able to make our own NPCs or, as someone else suggested, write our own sexual scenes. What can people create with item sets (which is basically just an extension to the clothing/weapon templates) and status effects to make it interesting? I'm genuinely curious. Cursed items that give TFs over a period of time instead of immediate effect?

I'm also disappointed by that the modding templates are so limited, but I appreciate the ability to make item sets. Right now, you can wear one of the enforcer sets (which gives you the biggest stat boosts), the maid/butler sets, or the Meraxis outfit. Then you have minor sets like the piercings that boost fire/ice damage. If you don't like your character walking around in a police/servant uniform, or a witch dress, you're missing out on quite some stat boosts. This way, modders can for example make the newly released skater gear into a set, or do actual armor sets.

Then you're broadening the definition to the point of meaninglessness, since it now includes basically every game except abstract puzzle games (and even some of those, like Thomas Was Alone).

Which is why, if you can bothered to go back and check, the very first sentence in my post was that this conversation was a huge waste of time. And yes, I did state that I consider a large number of games to fundamentally fulfil the requirements of being RPGs, but also remember that I listed three core criteria as to what I consider RPGs to be; while games like Pong are not RPGs for obvious reasons, I also exclude titles like Street Fighter because while you do control a character within a defined narrative setting, there is a lack of meaningful character advancement (winning a round and advancing to the next stage does not count because the character itself does not grow or advance from this).

An RPG is a game where the primary focus is on making narrative and/or stat/gear choices. LT has those elements, yes, but they're not its main focus (and that's a good thing, because they're crap).

While I won't deny that LT has been crap at focusing on narrative and stat/gear, I will posit that this is because Inno is awful at time management and coding priorities. We have been given what is essentially only Firelink Shrine in a Dark Souls world, of course the narrative is going to suck, and of course there's going to be no focus on it because Inno has spent the better part of half a year with constant delays on two backer-promised sidecontent releases with no advancement on the main story.

Since Inno plans to return to fleshing out the world and main story after the recent side content is completed (finished Axel quest placeholders when?) development is likely to head in a direction you disagree with (focus returning to narrative). This is why, and I state again, this discussion on the game's genre is a waste of time because regardless of what you and I think the game is, Innoxia is going to make the game according to her vision, which is a text-based RPG with erotic elements. Whether or not she can execute that vision adequately is another matter altogether.

I don't think "will make no difference to the development of the game" is the same thing as "is a waste of time". By that logic, any discussion on any topic you can't do anything about would be a waste of time, from weather to politics. I don't find discussing a topic I find interesting to be a waste of time. If you don't find a topic interesting, the only advice I can offer is to refrain from discussing it.

Not quite any. There are two types, only the type with an outline in the background representing the species can be used to make transformatives.

Are you sure about that? I just tested on 3.8.5, on a generic shop tile, and nothing happened. It's also not in the readme anymore.
However when testing on an old 3.6.4 save, event triggered as expected. After looking through the readmes, looks like it was removed in 3.7.2.

Is that different from "buggy"? I was never even aware of a "Noxxx" debug code. Learn something new everyday.

Yes. One is the general purpose debug menu, the other was a little easter egg spawning a hidden room with a flustered catgirl writing smut.

Yeah, seriously... game is still a “work-in-progress” but I guess that just mean they “care” for the game even if they don’t seem like it... It really gets boring when you get stuck with where the story is now, but IMO, I find this better than the other text-based games here I tried. (Better of not saying a title though). Well, it all goes down to repeating the same stuff all over again but having more options with the sex stuff is a plus I guess... oh, and every NPCs and Random Generated enemies alike have differing fetishes and stuff so it’s kinda amusing at first how they react with things they like and they don’t. Still, having a daughter with Incest fetish but doesn’t want to fuck with you even if you encountered her living as a prostitute confused me at first, but then again I thought that it should be like me, has incest fetish but isn’t really inclined to f any of my close family members (besides a few distant relatives that openly expressed their desire but I declined for one reason or two that I can’t remember anymore xD). Ah, I’m getting out of topic solet’s stop at there for now.

Probably an issue with her overall orientation, though prostitutes should have that exception where they treat you like a client and agree anyway, except after you invite them home and they aren't working the street anymore.

The system is neither that deep nor complex. When it comes to incest, provided you're blood related and compatible with their orientation, NPCs have no preference. They don't care if you're the father, mother, brother, sister, etc.

Edit: I remembered seeing one of my sons who "craves" for my body and went to his location, but for some reason he won't show up, I found him before getting an arcane offspring map so I tried that and I just spawned a different one in the same cell.. Gddammit.

Edit 2: found an older save, the first one who I can have sex with has incestuous as"Love" and not just "Like"... probably coz of that.

The official name of North Korea is the Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea. SordidDreams' point was that just because someone describes something as possessing a particular quality or attribute doesn't mean it actually does. It's an analogy I've used myself at times.

It was misplaced in this instance, since I wasn't claiming that LT is an RPG simply because Inno describes it as such.

Are you playing the new version per chance? If so, don't forget to enabled incest content in the game's settings (Game Content > Sex & Fetishes) as its usually off by default in every new release. If that doesn't do it then it may be a bug.
