Buying Bree is a lot like having your kids/guests live with you tbh. Lots of people really really wanted the ability but it's kinda... lame on its own. I think Inno mentioned that in hindsight, enslaving uniques is a bit of a waste and she'd rather keep them available somewhere else in the future. Like the NPC's in the latest quest just becoming each other's slave and having scenes there.I was a bit disappointed when brax just becomes a generic slave when enslaved. Maybe unique NPC slaves should have special dialogues and scenes (and quests?)
I prefer that as well but it's mostly pointless if sex with them is still generic. Innoxia should make sex more unique and make adding exclusive dialogue and actions easier so that all unique characters can get that treatment in the future, through official means or otherwise.Buying Bree is a lot like having your kids/guests live with you tbh. It's planned but you gotta space out those kinds of massive frameworks.I prefer that as well but it's mostly pointless if sex with them is still generic. There's also the way of putting several slaves with use you permission in your room and sleeping while they are there. Don't know the exact conditions, but I had several instances of waking up do get manhandled by two slaves.A possibility of multiple slaves "using you" (if you have multiple slaves with that permission enabled) in the mansion sounds like a good idea though. Currently the only way to have your slaves spitroast you is to initiate subby-sex while two or more are present. So perhaps if there are multiple slaves with the "use you" permission enabled, there could be a chance (say, 25%) that they'll gang up on you.
It's really badly signposted for the player (which is to say not at all). Everything else has giant neon arrows pointing to it, entire quests dedicated to explaining how enchanting works, how pregnancy works, hell, there's even quest dialogue explaining away such irrelevant details as how you can comfortably wear clothes taken from people of grossly different body size (the clothes magically adjust). But how to do transformations in this transformation game? Nothing, nada, not a peep, not one line of dialogue anywhere pointing you in the right direction.Right? It's so weird.
I don't remember it having fetish changes in it too, but maybe I missed that. It's been a while since I've played through the game from the very beginning.Well, kinda. He had a potion made specifically to turn people into subby wolf bitches, it's not an inherent effect of the physical change.
It doesn't, it's purely physical.I don't remember it having fetish changes in it too, but maybe I missed that. It's been a while since I've played through the game from the very beginning.
The "Essences and Enchantments" dialogue that becomes available with Lilaya once the MC has had sex in the "new world" for the first time explicitly says that consumables can be enchanted. But how to do transformations in this transformation game? Nothing, nada, not a peep, not one line of dialogue anywhere pointing you in the right direction.
Two issues with that. First, this is a very early quest, and by that I mean you'll likely get it within one or two tiles of Lilaya's home (since it's triggered by gaining essences, which doesn't require sex per se, simply defeating someone in combat is enough, and there's an arcane storm going on, so you'll get jumped the moment you come out the door). So a new player reading this scene is almost certainly going to have no idea what a Feline Fancy is, and by the time they find one later they will have forgotten that it was used in Lilaya's demonstration. The "Essences and Enchantments" dialogue that becomes available with Lilaya once the MC has had sex in the "new world" for the first time explicitly says that consumables can be enchanted.
to say that this mechanic is "not even hinted at" is simply not true
When Brax uses it it'll give you Submissive, but oddly enough Brax's Surprise doesn't seem to have thatIt doesn't, it's purely physical.
The point is the game does spoon-feed you info about how every little thing works, except for this one major thing. I'd have no problem with the game not explaining anything. But I do have a problem with it not explaining this one thing precisely because it explains everything else. This expectation of being spoon-fed is created by the game itself.a good chunk of the community managed to learn how the game works without needing to be spoon-fed
But what if something does come with clear and concise instructions for every step, except a step is missing from those instructions, so if you follow them, you end up with an incorrect result? Who do you blame then, yourself or the maker of the instructions?some folks nowadays can't do anything that doesn't come with a clear and concise spreadsheet or instructions...
Sure, I'll give you that there's an inconsistency in how the game is delivered. It could be improved. But that still doesn't change the fact a portion of the people who play this game deliberately ignore the text delivered to them because they are ""text dumps"", because they don't care about the story, and therefore, are missing the parts that tell them how the game works. Is the developer at blame here? Again, both parties need to meet at a middle-ground.The point is the game does spoon-feed you info about how every little thing works, except for this one major thing.

I mean, yes, but those people are playing the wrong game.Sure, I'll give you that there's an inconsistency in how the game is delivered. It could be improved. What the fuck is this bullshit?Carl0sDanger
Call me arrogant and high-and-mighty if you will, but if a good chunk of the community managed to learn how the game works without needing to be spoon-fed, do we really need to change things now? Or are we better off pushing people to be a little less lazy, pay attention to the text (it's a text game, reading is part of it) and to experiment with the game mechanics, to discover? It almost looks like some folks nowadays can't do anything that doesn't come with a clear and concise spreadsheet or instructions...
If the story isn't enough to get people to read it you can't punish them for that, but what SordidDreams is saying is that the game does NOT tell the reader, interested or otherwise, how it works. But that still doesn't change the fact a portion of the people who play this game deliberately ignore the text delivered to them because they are ""text dumps"", because they don't care about the story, and therefore, are missing the parts that tell them how the game works.
This is just wrong, the middle ground here is not the right spot. The game is "flawed" and the dev is at blame for that. It's such a trivial thing that you could call it a typo, a bug, but it's still the Dev's fault. Is the developer at blame here? Again, both parties need to meet at a middle-ground.
yes i didn't know how to play the game at first after i learned how to play i didn't transform my self until a couple of days later irl and when i read some where that a item could be used to transformation potion then i got it then cheek out the enchantment menu. first transformation was into a alligatortuar so the menu is easy to learn by looking at it but getting it is not explained at all even in reading the quest to unlock it, all it does is give a description of what it can do. adding a book in the library to explain it could be useful to new/unexperienced players for the transformation part of the gameThis is just wrong, the middle ground here is not the right spot. Like I said, really small mistake, but still a mistake. I usually prefer discreet tutorials, with little to no red circles or "now grab this item and repeat what I just did", but that's a personal and probably less popular preference. In a sandbox game such as LT having clear instructions is a necessity, even more if you consider the mental state the players will be in while playing (porn game after all).
