You know there's a spawn menu (among other things), right? It's even in the readme...
Well i didn't know about that. Actually i have opened Readme file to try to find anything about "spawn". No luck in searching that word.

Edit: Oh... at the bottom of readme it is :
"In the debug menu's 'Spawn Menu', if you click in the empty space beneath the 'Ranged' button, then you can access the game's hidden cheat items."
Ok! Never used that one... ^^

Edit1: This debug menu is powerfull... o_O:whistle::sneaky:(y)

Unfortunately, another game fell into a development nightmare. A pity because it was a good game.

From 0.3.9.8 notes:
Added two new Enforcer characters and a new quest involving them, all of which has been designed by DSG. The start of this quest will randomly trigger in Dominion's street tiles under the following conditions: no arcane storm; main quest is past Brax's section; over 5 days have passed since completing the 'Angry Harpies' quest; time is 17:00-21:00.

Assuming all the above conditions were met, the event proc chance used to be 10%, but in 0.3.9.9 the chance was boosted to 50%.

In v03.9.9, is there a known bug where equipped items disappear for you and/or slaves if you have sex in your room (at Lilaya's), please?
e-d :)

Idk about that but i have discovered weird cloning this one item:
1606761757679.png
when decided to remove "Seals onto wearer" by unenchant. So i have done that and next enchanted it again by anything else - i think it was enchant for reducing Corruption value. Than put this back on my MC and tried to remove it...
Aaand it cloned this Navel piercing into my MC inventory leaving it also on my MC wearing this at Navel slot.
It just duplicated to the inventory. I couldn't remove it by choosing to Unequip... So i have bought other type of Navel piercing - because couldn't remove it other than by replace action.
That has worked and it has replaced it, but... The effect of reduced Corruption haven't been removed on my MC.
I think something may be broken to that one Navel piercing.

IIRC moving items from slot to slot in LT is coded in a really dumb way where the game duplicates the item into the new slot, then deletes the original item from the old slot. I guess that process went wrong for some reason, likely to do with the sealing stat.

Yeah, updating Java was the exact wrong thing to do. You need to download the EXE version instead.

I'm just starting out and thought; "hey, I have JRE installed, so I'll save ~190mb of space by getting the naked JAR version. Might as well update Java while I'm at it." Nope, read the readme.txt, and it says "Compiled using Java version: jdk1.8.0_172"

Oops... tooltips are kinda necessary for noobs, and I'll be damned if I'm downgrading my system's JRE for one game. So, I'mma be playing the .EXE version.
Yeah, I forgot about that issue. All good now. Thanks for reminding me.

What are you talking about exactly? It's only been a month (blog) or two (release) since the last update.
That's hardly a nightmare of a delay when we're talking about games on this site.
I mean, dev has been overloaded with the game and especially the engine. She can't handle it best, it is visible on her discord. The problems with postponing the update date have been around for a long time, it seems to be in development hell. Too much ambition and it took her off the tracks. If something does not change, it will become like with the rest of ambitious solo projects whose creators only stick to their vision, not allowing easier compromises. Dead.

What he's referring to spans a much greater length of time than the last update, friend.
I saw a bunch of player comments on the dev's blog complaining about delays, asking for roadmaps and timelines, etc. but all that seems trivial in grand scheme of things. A "development nightmare" appears to be a bit of an exaggeration, even if delays are common and deadlines aren't strictly kept. If you account for the fact that the dev is the one setting schedules and deadlines in the first place, then it's pretty much a non-issue, or at least a minor one.

Then again, I'm just a noob, so I don't know much about the development history. However, when someone says it's "a pity because it was a good game" in the past tense, as if it's already over; I have to assume you're being melodramatic when the blog and game have been updated only a month or two ago.

And as a sidenote, I'm sure all the pessimistic messages sent that way aren't an effective form of encouragement to change the project's management. If we're going to be hyperbolic with our rhetoric, I don't see how that would lead to positive change. It simply isn't persuasive in any case.

I recall a problem about navel piercings reported at Github in the last few weeks. Make a quick check there to see if yours has been reported already. (y)

The complaints are not really unwarranted though. The historical delays have literally developed into a meme refered to just about everywhere the game is discussed. That's why people have suggested not giving such a specific release date until a release is closer to done...ignored. People have suggested improving sex mechanics and sex dialog given even named NPC's along with generic ones all sound and function identical, clone-like...ignored. People offered up numerous requests for adding more reasons to embrace the by now bloated list of transformations beyond them being purely aesthetic...ignored. I remember people even complaining about the dev spending months on an NPC few really cared about and how broken the NPC's content was even afterwards, instead of furthering main quest-line content...also ignored.

And, not to just single out the dev alone, I can't tell you how many times I've seen over the last couple years people immediately dismissing any criticism on the site as merely trolling or bitching for bitching sake, in some cases to the point of personal attacks, regardless of how genuine the criticism was. I don't really like to call people out for white knighting in all honesty, but some of the worst examples I've seen have been there.

Every once and a while I'll crack open a new release just to see the very same age-old issues unresolved despite the number of releases since my last attempt. Combat's still broken, sex is still copy-pasta mode (though thankfully there is a skip action), I haven't seen the main questline budge much in over a year, the engine STILL lags like it's an Inform7 game, and NPC's still...still, I'm not shitting you, STILL cannot go one second in sex without prioritize finger-fucking over penetrative sex even with the help of the fetish system. It's like everyone in the game is a virgin and has no clue how to fuck. Given the limited number of lines, I guess at least they are all consistently hopeless. I've honestly been struggling to find a reason to spend more than a peek at a time with LT and so far I really haven't had one for a long while. The last time I really sat down to play through and though was at least two years back.

As someone new, who hasn't experienced all that yet, you shouldn't assume I'm whiteknighting for the dev, or anyone for that matter. I was genuinely confused about the doom and gloom, when the dev is clearly still updating, and a few months is not that bad, relatively speaking. Moreover, you shouldn't accuse me of being dismissive when you only gave a vague response at first, and the person I was replying to was being melodramatic without offering any concrete explanation either. Now, after you gave some decent examples, I finally understand what you guys were talking about.

Perhaps it's just the novelty of the game, but I haven't seen half the problems you're describing: You're right; the sex does get repetitive, but that's pretty much what I expect from a text RPG. I used to play MUDs back in the day where I couldn't even see the map and would run around in circles getting lost, so it's par for the course. I haven't noticed the fingering issue or any kind of lag, and the NPCs are fine so far.

The variation in body parts and types do seem excessive though, and I agree we don't need any more. It looks like this next update will eventually address the race and transformations issue in the future. I actually don't think we need "reasons" for embracing the "bloated list" of transformations. In fact, the current patch's problems are likely a result of people complaining about how the transformations are "purely aesthetic." In my opinion, requests to streamline races and making them more mechanically useful could easily be misinterpreted and potentially be contradictory.

Look, I'm not doubting that lingering issues exist, and of course I'm might run into problems later. However, you admitted you hadn't given this game a proper look in a long time, so you're probably not appreciating the last two years because it's frustrating that you didn't get the changes you wanted. It's possible I'd feel the same way after I play through, but I don't have the same hangups or attitude yet.

From my perspective, it doesn't make sense to assume the worst. If it does turn out badly, then I'll just move on. Everyone won't be similarly invested and thereby experience the same amount of frustration. There's lots of overly ambitious devs who try to do too much and wind up with very little--it is what it is. We always have to take whatever devs promise with a grain of salt. In any case, I'm not even sure that's what's happening here. It may simply be a disconnect in expectations.

Thankyou for the info, already completed the quest and got access to some sweet enforcer gear! thought curious now, what happens if you side with Ellie in this quest? do you get the metal enforcer gear or you fail it?
