" Condoms can now be equipped onto a character's penis even if their penis is involved in an ongoing action, so you no longer need to stop ongoing action, apply condom, then restart the action. "

Now that is an impressive magic trick. Pick a condom any condom.... later TADA is this the one you chose?

This is obviously just a convenience thing, the actual action is remove penis-put on condom-reinsert penis. But now you don't need to deal with the hassle that is to press a button to remove the penis, then press a button to equip the condom, and then press a button to reinsert the penis. Not to mention that when it's not you doing the fucking, but your partner or even a third person, then this whole chain can get messed up, depending on the relevant permissions and fetishes. The person with the penis might decide to resume fucking after you told them to stop penetrations but before you can equip a condom on them, or they might not resume fucking after getting a condom onto their penis.

This is a good little fix, there's enough to criticize about the game without grasping at straws.

I know you guys are having a lot of fun ranting about this stuff, but someone should probably point out that the SPA is run by a sheepdog futa and the actual sheeps just work there as massueses/whores, so no wet fur involved (or at least not wet from water).
They even give the explanation that the owner prefers employing sheep girls because being a shepard dog they feel more confortable ordering around sheeps.

Aside from enchanting equips and potions, essence does fuck all yeah? Cause it still seems that if you run the game as intended and have a limit on enchant capacity, you can't do anything else with it edit: not counting using it as ammo for worthless ranged weapons as there aint really any distance to take advantage of

Still seems aside from level drain seems no way to actually level without resorting to old fashioned violence

This and other stuff reminds me of why I never finished playing this in the first :/

Flashlights prevent a debuff to accuracy and attack in dark areas. There's so many other options that don't consume an inventory slot (wolf/snake/rat eyes, bat ears, fire school passive) that I often forget flashlights are in the game.

Essence are also ammo for all ranged weapons and some melee weapons. However melee and most spells do more damage with less consumed resources, so there's no reason to use ranged either.

In short, your intuition is right to judge these things as useless.

The amount contributed by modders varies each release. Sometimes it's half the update, other times it's just a small thing or two. I'm personally looking forward to the day Inno adds the 3 main pillars of modding; NPCs, sex scenes and locations. Then modders will finally be able to add the bread and butter of the game.

It's already there. There are locations, there are custom characters through "savvy" and something about sex. But this does not mean that all this will appear in the mod channel.

Chunks of the code have be refactored and converted into XMLs so people have an easier time making mods. You can "brute-force" your way through the code and make all sorts of content if you're tech-savvy enough but for the most part, a large chunk of the code isn't modder friendly yet. There's a reason why we only see clothing/tattoos/weapons mods and little else. The few custom characters that do exist (Angel and Felicity for example) were abandoned a long time ago.

For the record, I am aware that there are people in the community who write fixes and overhauls but those are far and few in between.

It's like carrying a sandbag over your shoulder on in a trolley. You can do both but one is easier and convenient that the other. The whole "I'm a programmer now so this is ez, everyone else are noobs" flex is wholly unnecessary and changes absolutely nothing.

I'm not a programmer, but thanks to one person in the "mod discussion" I've made enough mods. It doesn't matter what else is made supported through the xml file, the important thing is that no one will create anything.

When support for items came out, I thought about how I can make potions out of them. I thought that there should be an option in the future (for example, as a throwable weapon), but as we see there is nothing like that. Only programming.

You'll find that most of the games progression works that way. They're not progression curves, they're progression knee-high-fences; very easy to overcome unless you set stupid self inflicting rules, and nothing to do on the other side.

Just get them all wrong, skip a week, and then it won't matter. The game will literally not allow you to fail the quiz twice, and there's zero consequence for even trying to do so.
