Out of curiosity, and since the wiki has been down since forever, does anyone happen to remember exactly how to get the Japanese styled clothing? Kimonos, sarashi wraps, geta sandals, the works. I've rarely seen bits of sarashi on sale at Nyan's Clothing Emporium, and Vivky's Arcane Arts always has a set of Katana/Wakazashi on hand; but I seemingly can't find anything else to fit the 'Ronin' theme.

Perhaps something tied to a particular date or season? I'm currently getting random encounters where some anonymous rabbit-morph is tossing fistfuls of Breeder Pills at me, seemingly in celebration of the recent Father's Day.

And yes, I already tried searching the thread. No dice.
I think you get those through the Christmas event

you can type in "buggy" and then pick them from the menu or you can wait until in game winter and try to get it all through gift boxes

1. Get a biojuice canister of a slime
2. Enchant the biojuice canister with the "Flesh" enchantment
3. Defeat a slime and transform them into a dragon-slime
4. Make them drink the boosted flesh elixir
This does work, but was recently changed: you'll need to encounter a dragon first (the Elis merchant) before being able to transform someone/yourself into one with this method.

Yes, that's why I wrote

Note that in the latest update step 3 requires you to have dragons in your encyclopedia, so you'd have to have met the only dragon at least once.

Am I mistaken or could you export enslaved alley attackers in previous versions? I know you can export the MC and various named NPCs but I thought you could with random NPCs too.

You can still do so. Just go to their location, click on the NPC in the list in the upper right, then click on the "export character" button in the lower right.

I get the feeling that Inno didn't think this through when she made change to restrict slime transformations to ones you have encountered.
Here is a screenshot of my encyclopedia, on a completely fresh install of the game, with a new character and a completely empty encyclopedia. Also, my character has not even finished the submission quest with Meraxis, so I am stuck in Dominion and, no, I didn't cheat any dragon book or dragon fruits.
dragon morph.png

I wonder if Inno thought for even a second about the fact that slimes can spawn as pretty much any species OR Subspecies.

I was bumbling around in Submission trying to find a slime for Claire's quest and the very first slime I encountered was ..... a Ryu-morph slime. Which is a subspecies of Dragon morphs and I was able to transform them to flesh, came back the next day and beat the hell outta them and "presto magico" I had a Dragon Species book.

Armed with said, new found book of dragons, I stumbled into the bat caves and transformed the very first slime I encountered ... into a Dragon.
I may have hit the 'slime lottery jackpot', but it didn't change the fact that I now have a dragon friend hanging out in the bat caves without cheating anything. I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do with them though, dragons aren't really my thing.

Just note that you don't *need* to have read those books. Just having encountered a race is enough to unlock the initial encyclopedia entry, and also unlocks the ability to transform slimes into that race.

Ultimately I don't think this was a balance change at all, just to make transformations more lore friendly - can't command them to change how you want them to look, if you don't even know whether or not that race exists.

It's also based on the shared encyclopedia that's stored in the properties.xml file in the /data folder. You can use 'buggy' to clear it, or just erase the properties file.

Is there some way to contribute to the project even if right now is in such early phase? And when using godot are you using the in-house language or C#, the last one I think can give you all that one can expect from Java. Another question I had, for the combat system are you planning in basing it in D&D like a lot of other games? If that is the case, can I suggest Pathfinder 2 edition? I think that using the optional stamina system can be a good idea to not have a health and lust pool, simply make attacks that normally affect lust affect stamina.

But please, tell me if there is some code thing that one can help with :D
Originally started with C# version, moved off of it, modules would be simpler for anyone to see/edit if they were just in gdscript, rather than in a compiled language.
However if I find gdscript is a notable limiting factor, I will be using Java, as it performs better than C#, and it's the language I have the most experience in.
Although if only certain aspects are the bottleneck, and I find they won't need to be editable by users/modders, then I'll just write them in C as godot can just run pure C compiled code.

I've done backend work for high throughput servers with dynamic data, and that's where Java is the winning language hands down. Loads of games including League of Legends (the only one I know for certain off the top of my head, the server's are Java [game server] + Erlang [database]), and loads of websites Ebay, Netflix, etc.. use Java because it's simply the fastest language with dynamic data, and is very memory safe.

If I were to try and use C# even if it was marginally faster than Java for this type of game (it's not, there's a lot of dynamic allocations) it would perform worse in my hands anyway, due to my maybe 200k lines of code written in C# total, whereas I've been using Java for >10 years, and written/unwritten multiple millions of lines.

I can't seem to equip items onto npc's when i defeat them. There is only equip self option even when i just unequipped the said item from the npc.

Then are you thinking in making java work in godot, doing a project purely in java or using another tool to work with it?

So when you click on an item in the inventory, you don't see the option to Equip on them in the bottom row?

Because it should work. It's how I make most of my money at first (enslaving rogue succubi). I didn't reach 2.7 million flames by just looting their corpses, that's for damn sure.

Yea, got you there.

The month-so to speak- after lilith's month with the witches, and all the other stuff, you'll see reindeers working on the usual pathways in Dominion clearing snow, with a succubus acting as supervisor (can't remember the name of the month, but there are several of said workers on the paths) Go up to them, they'll ask whether you want to trade or help them work, and from there you'll get all the stuff-getas, sarashis, kimonos, the whole motherload.

Be prepared to shill out money for it though.

Alright-java problem.

...again.

I want to try out Loliphile's mod of LT and downloaded it just fine-the zip, not the portable one. Tried to open it, and got 'An error has occured' and it just dies. No opening, no nothing. Researched it, and what'd you know, since the newest Java doesn't come with JavaFX, it doesn't wanna run cause of that.

Anyone got any workarounds? Last time this happened with the original LT I just used the exe, but now I'm lost :/

I searched Google for 'Java 21', and found Oracle's LTS (long term support) releases of the Java SE Dev Kit.

I downloaded the x64 installer for Windows, and it seemed to work fine. The JAR version launched after that, with the only thing I noticed to be 'off' was a weird graphical glitch with right side inventory icons; they were noticeably larger, and could cause later rows to misalign (because empty/blank icons were still the original size).

You sure you got the right files? I don't see any .zip files, just two 7z archives - one with the game files and another the portable JDK you also need to download to run the game files.
