I think Innoxia might have simply bitten off more than they could chew. Pretty much every single solo-dev wide-open-world sandbox sexathon has come to this point eventually. Innoxia needs to either open up the source code further, facilitating pull requests by the wider community and allowing for transparency in the course of development, or use some of the $6,063/month from SubscribeStar to hire some help.

On the one hand, Inno does admit they are not the best at programming. On the other, she would not invest in help on this project, why would she invest in something that tells her she is doing it wrong?

I tried to hold on to hope but their last three updates have just been excuses like sure shit happens but when people are giving you money they're allowed some transparency. She should just put this on a hiatus or bite the bullet and admit they bit off more than they could chew and either hand it off to someone else or just abandon the project

Having worked briefly on some ideas that required core level modding, I wonder if any effort was made to hire others on and they just all ended up being a bad fit by saying it was necessary to do a restart from the foundation.

The artwork is mainly on NPCs that are not randomly generated, like Lilaya and Rose. And the item thumbnails if you want to split hairs. You have the option to upload images for generated characters.

Honestly, the only way I can enjoy the game is with mods and just skipping over the main story. I feel like Inno isn't gonna really do much in the future with their game...
I have similar feelings about the past.
I came here to check back in, figured there'd be at least a 4.9001 monthly hotfix for a single typo but she hasn't even posted on her SubscribeStar since November and she's getting over 2.5k a month how the fuck

probably valentinesday saying only 10 days left for next update and then the next excuse comes in june.

Lilith has been AWOL in her discord since December 26th and pretty much stopped posting in the open channels in Discord since October.

A small conspiratorial part of me is starting this think this is the actual death of the project. Maybe Inno hit a wall she couldn't spaghetti code through in her hour-per-week work sessions. And instead of announcing the end of development or blaming the usual "personal issues" she decided to just quietly drop it and see how long it takes before her patrons notice.
