So when you click on an item in the inventory, you don't see the option to Equip on them in the bottom row?

Because it should work.
Depends on exactly what item. You cannot put any piercing unless the opponent is already pierced in the specific location (so, even if they have nipple piercing you still cannot put a navel ring, because they lack navel piercing)

Same with things like gloves or boots if they have arm wings or hooves.

Alright-java problem.

...again.

I want to try out Loliphile's mod of LT and downloaded it just fine-the zip, not the portable one. Tried to open it, and got 'An error has occured' and it just dies. No opening, no nothing. Researched it, and what'd you know, since the newest Java doesn't come with JavaFX, it doesn't wanna run cause of that.

Anyone got any workarounds? Last time this happened with the original LT I just used the exe, but now I'm lost :/
Did you actually click on the 'OS' button or did you just click on the 2 7z links and then try running the game?
That is one of the more common issues I have seen from people trying to download that version, they just download the JDK portable and then download the source code, while skipping right over the 'Select your OS' option.

Unless you have the correct version of Java installed on your machine, you will need to download the game AND the JDK. One of them is the game itself, with the JAR file and the other is a portable version of Java with the version needed to launch the game.

It's also based on the shared encyclopedia that's stored in the properties.xml file in the /data folder. You can use 'buggy' to clear it, or just erase the properties file.
I am aware of that part, that was why I said I was on a Fresh Install (extracted files to a separate folder), I started a new character (didn't copy over my data folder) and mentioned that my encyclopedia was completely empty.

I saw several people that were saying that you had to get all the way to Elis, find that dragon vendor (that only shows up for a few days at the first of the month), and then they were able to have the codex entry for dragons that people were looking for.
Instead of trying to 'call out' people, I just made a generic post, as a 'hey, you can still get dragons if you are on a new character and still don't have the dragon codex unlocked'.
Just note that you don't *need* to have read those books. Just having encountered a race is enough to unlock the initial encyclopedia entry, and also unlocks the ability to transform slimes into that race.
<snip>
Nice.
I wasn't sure if just a single entry in the encyclopedia was enough, mostly due to the fact that in the TF menu for slimes there are a couple spots where the various subspecies are called out instead of a generic 'dragon' option.
Which was why I made sure I had read the dragon book before trying to TF a slime into a dragon or dragon subspecies.

I searched Google for 'Java 21', and found Oracle's LTS (long term support) releases of the Java SE Dev Kit.

I downloaded the x64 installer for Windows, and it seemed to work fine. The JAR version launched after that, with the only thing I noticed to be 'off' was a weird graphical glitch with right side inventory icons; they were noticeably larger, and could cause later rows to misalign (because empty/blank icons were still the original size).

Any way though to lessen the size of the icons and such?

I know there's an option to resize text and so on, but just wondering if that's a thing or to just cope then.

None that I managed to figure out, sorry.

Considering that icons on the left are the proper size and all, even if there was an option like there is for text size, it wouldn't actually fix the mismatched nature of the icons; you'd just make both the normal and bigger ones a different size without correcting the discrepancy.

AFAIK there's only a single dragon in the game. You can meet them by going to the Farmer's Market on the first few days each month.

If you want other dragon NPCs, you need to transform them yourself. I'm not sure if any trader has dragon food you could enchant to become a transformative elixir, so you can do the slime-workaround:
1. Get a biojuice canister of a slime
2. Enchant the biojuice canister with the "Flesh" enchantment
3. Defeat a slime and transform them into a dragon-slime
4. Make them drink the boosted flesh elixir

Now you have an actual dragon NPC. If you wait a day or so before defeating them again, you can even get dragon books and dragon food from them.
Note that in the latest update step 3 requires you to have dragons in your encyclopedia, so you'd have to have met the only dragon at least once.

you should be able to buy dragon fruit from the shops, just enchant that to form your dragon.
