It is such a shame that this game has gotten to this point. I played it originally way back when version 0.02 iirc. It was great and had a lot of promise but I swear the second the creator made a Patreon the game turned to shit. All of sudden the "Patrons" voted in the slave content(JFC how many games need slave content) which has seemed to bog down actual development, and now every time I check in on the game all the change logs read like. This morph and this Morph are added. The sex system was changed/moved around or added this feature. Slave xyz feature added/changed. Body modifers are changed.
That depends on whether the Discord or the Patreon and SubscribeStar came first as most of the actual sidetracking comes from the Discord.
The slave thing was part of the plan from the start, the only thing the patrons really did for it was get it expanded.
No, the slave content is not what bogs down development, what bogs down development is when Inno adds more side quests, which come from non-slave NPCs, and then proceeds to inevitably break something that then becomes a priority fix and causes multiple delays in release dates.
Most of the added morphs are added by contributors on the GitHub, not Inno. What Inno adds is reworked romance quests, side quests, stuff like the Nyan romance rework.
'It will be over by Christmas' is what they said when WW1 started. They were right, from a certain point of view.
What I meant from the Slave System is when it was added. I knew it was always planned, there was a slaver's alley in the early builds of the game which meant it would be coming. It was added shortly after they made a Patreon which is also when they opened the source code up to github.

Man, flaming hot take here: This game isnt as bad as you guys are saying... you want bad... try waiting on Milfy City to update... I think its been 6 months. Is there actually any proof of this dev being as much of a jerk as you guys think or this just speculation?

I think the main issue isn't the lack of updates but the lack of progress.
Apparently the main story hasn't moved an inch since I last gave this a try over a year ago. The changelogs seem to corroborate that. Lots of changes to system X and new morph Y, only for those to require bugfixes in the next update.
To me it looks like it's basically just fan service and fan contributions at this point, more of a sandbox for super-furries than an actual game.

The overrall incompetence and stubbornness of Inno is what pisses me off. It's been what? A year since the last story update? At the time when this shitshow started she should have hired or chosen a small team of proggrammers to help her with the coding. The reason why everybody's mad is because this game has insane potential but nothing gets done.

One man development for games like these doesn't go well, hell even teams screw up their games.
Because I'm bored, and this game is good enough to be worth paying attention to.
The answer to this is the same reason why all video game reviews get 7 to 10 scores; no one gives a shit about a three.

This marks the one year and change anniversary of this comment. I am indeed a fortune teller.
I mean it was over by Christmas...1918, several years after it started. They also said this about WW2 for Operation Market Garden and it was right then, too. However, Market Garden took place in 1944, but the end wasn't until 1945, but still before Christmas that year. A much smaller time gap, but still a long one. In relation to the game, this is looking like Market Garden right now and is looking like it will end up becoming an equivalent time span to WW1 just on this release alone.
And the Patreon had nothing to do with the slave elements until last year, when there was an uproar over the companion system being dropped from support. Even Patreon didn't like that and it was likely thanks to them that we got anything out of it at all instead of just losing companion support for the future. As a result, slaves and free guests are supposed to get more actions that otherwise might not have been implemented if that uproar hadn't occurred.
3.18 is the one, I suggest holding off until somebody investigates further and figures out how to turn it off or at least whether it is safe.
The game isn't the bad part, the developer is. Check the Discord for proof, but be prepared for the mods to tell you to shut up if you say anything negative about the game, even constructive criticism, and for everyone else to grab their torches and pitchforks as if you're the monster in Frankenstein. Milfy City only takes 6 months? That's nothing compared to the more than 12 we've been waiting to get more of the main quest because Inno can't keep their word about focusing on the main quest.
It isn't that Inno themself is doing any bad stuff other than silencing opposition, namely by shutting off blog comments, and spouting blatant lies, but that Inno is allowing toxicity among the denizens of their Discord as long as they aren't being toxic against Inno.
The Discord has a nickname on the blog, the 'hug box,' for a reason, because nothing but praise is allowed. It has become a literal safe space echo chamber that Inno can go to if the big bad blog is being mean again, and rightfully so because Inno has done nothing to deserve anything but negativity and literally EVERYTHING to earn said negativity.
That is part of it, but most of it is what Inno has said regarding that lack of progress. We've been on this one main quest section for over a year because Inno keeps focusing on side content. Inno themself has stated they would shift focus to main content and even said we were close last August, but then came back last month and outright said it had only been planned, not coded as the posts in August and September suggest.
Regarding the changes made, if it isn't part of the race or Nyan romance reworks, it was done by the GitHub contributors, not Inno. We have them to thank for anything being done at all, not Inno.
I would love to have a way to pay them, they deserve it.
Over a year, but yeah, I'm also pissed. I gave Inno a pass for a lot of the issues, but when that January post came in, that was the last straw and I have revoked all passes given.
It is the equivalent of a suicide mission to go into a project like this alone. That was the second largest mistake in all of Lilith's Throne development. The first was making that post in January, radio silence would have been better.
I, however, have a different reason since I have a game that does deserve my money and has been getting it for a while now because the developer is extremely competent, sticks to what they want to do, and doesn't get sidetracked.
Not to mention he's actually active with the entire community behind his game and, while he does put his foot down when something goes against his vision, he doesn't summon an angry mob or have mod enforcers scare off the person suggesting said thing, he explains it politely and those of us who assist in community management, basically just those who hang out and answer questions, do the same, myself included, and we are more than happy to do it.
This is the Nyan romance rework the Discord asked for, I am actually somewhat satisfied with how it turned out though I haven't played a version with the rework in.
The desert is fourth to be added, I believe, which makes it even better. The jungle would be second.
That's one good thing about this game, more developers to compete. I agree with the people who told you not to, I suggest not subbing. We are still waiting for the main update. This one took another few weeks, but the main content update has been delayed for over a year. It didn't take this long FOR INNO to make this update, it took this long for the GitHub contributors to make this update, very little is actually Inno's work.
As a person who has also developed games, though only for my own amusement and in a now dead language, the original Visual Basic from before .NET, I also take this as an insult. Especially so with how much is actually not Inno's work, which is a pretty good 99.8% of everything added.

Im a mod on the discord, Its really not anywhere near as bad as you are saying and we have plenty of people who are quite vocal about a distaste for whats chosen for updates. The thing is, we don't even really get anyone from the blog even attempt to join and say "hey, work on mainquest."
Do you know what happens? People with dumb pet preferences are the only ones who speak up and say "I want nyan marriage!" or "I want Arthur fleshed out!" and the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I want to assuage your concerns that the next update fields but first I gotta make sure some idiot who wants like a brax expansion or something fucks off.

Dude, that's 6 months without ANY update. You are mad that Inno didn't update the specific thing you wanted. I'm mad too because it's only because she made a promise to someone (who's a mod here btw) that she's spent this update working on nyan quest. I really don't understand why Inno is the target of such specific anger with regard to update schedule which is admittedly pretty schizophrenic but it still updates unlike Summertime saga or cloud meadow. Breeders of the Nephylem, which I personally donated too, hasn't had a proper content update in like six months. It's just a sad fact of life that porn devs can't keep an update schedule to save their life except for Fennco but they have a whole team of writers.
I saw people saying this constantly on /hgg/ on infinitychan when I first discovered this game back in 2018. Do you know how many of them actually went on to start a project? If someone actually manages to go on and make my dream porn game of "Dwarf fortress adventure mode but with porn" then hey, I will throw my money at them but it still hasn't happened and the western porn game industry still fucking blows with 6 month update schedules and abandoned projects.

I can count the amount of people we banned on one hand and 3 out of 5 of them were banned because they went apeshit when we got rid of irl porn on the server. most people we ban now get banned for posting 42% memes and the latest guy kept telling people to kill themselves.
It's because whatever people say about Inno being a bad dev, LT is still a really great game, including a pretty gripping story (thanks Inno!), and people are really looking forward to see more of it. So their disappointment is even bigger when Inno once again gets sidetracked. If LT were like the dozens of other half finished games that nobody really care about to play, there wouldn't be this toxic of a reaction. And the fact that a nearly pure text game has so many people invested in how it turns out speak even more of what a good job Inno did in creating LT in the first place.
That said, I still think Inno is a bad project manager, otherwise there wouldn't be constant delays. When was the last time an update wasn't late? A year ago? Why are we expanding far less interesting side content for the Xth month in a row? I am moderately hopeful for the next update to contain what I want, but I've mentally checked out for March and expect it in April at the earliest. I'm still a big fan of the game, and still follow it closely, but Inno's questionable decisions have made me hold off of subbing to her subscribestar.

oh yeah for sure, and everyone else on the discord agrees (though they still push their retarded pet projects constantly) But she's still the dev. I've seen what she makes and it's not enough to hire another coder, we have plenty of volunteers who help out though, those are the git pushers he complained about being the meat of the update. I'm trying to get more writers to assemble but there aren't a whole lot willing and the ones we do get tend to not be the best. (including me, I'm the guy who wrote the hyena lore book. I need to improve my character dialogue so I haven't tried any characters yet.)
Personally, I don't mind if the updates late as long as I get it but thats because I've gotten PTSD from the multitude of abandoned projects over the years. I've bitched quite publically during her big radio silence around november but overall I would feel I'm content. Inno gives her dumb date estimations that are always wrong not for our sake but for her, she says the pressure helps motivate her but as long as I get my update, I don't give a shit.
