I just realized, is there no way to remove clause that isn't combat related? Like, maybe I wanna do various hair in one playthrough, but the one clause I use for my first hairstyle change is getting gold. I can't find where to remove the clause to get the hairstyle negotiation again.

I don't think that's currently possible.

I think you add or remove causes in the deluxe demo version but not in the version we have.

ETA on the bugfix update?
It is already out. No one leaked it yet.

The demos are not free. Only those who pay at least $5 a month can get the regular demo and $10 a month for the deluxe demo.
You must be kidding. The demo 'leaked' here is from itch. It is free (always has been) and available for almost 2 days already for anyone with enough processing power to make a couple of clicks.

You are talking about non-demo versions.

coz they are NOT demo links ffs) don't know why you decided they are and keep falsenaming em.
I mean, "prerelease/beta version" and "demo" are often functionally equivalent. It's an incomplete version of the game released to build up interest in an eventual final product, and in some cases fish for bugs, errors, or other such mistakes. The only real difference between the two is that a demo is a specifically chosen chunk of game, and a prerelease or beta is just "here's what we have so far".

Yes, they are very technically NOT demo links, but at this point in development there is no noteworthy distinction between "demo" and "0.2.0 prerelease". This is the unfinished version of the game that the dev has released to drum up support and interest for the continued development of the game, this is what a demo is. A playable demonstration of what you can expect from the eventual end product. There is no meaningful distinction between "demo" and "prerelease" in this case.

I didn't know about the itch edition. On Patreon it might be a mistake but you can't access any of the demo links without paying.
Yeah, there's a free version (the one we have here) available from Itch, but there's also a $5 and $10 version of the demo available through Patreon that are actively being updated. Technically speaking that other guy is right in that those are links to the prerelease versions of the game, not technically demos, and they have (a bit) more content and whatnot, but at this point they're basically just more demos with extra bells and whistles that you pay 5 or 10 bucks for.

Either way, to reiterate, we don't have those here yet, just the free demo from Itch. It's not a mistake that you can't access those links, as those are for alternate versions of the game that are being actively developed and updated. The version we have here is not. Just like with Star Knightess Aura, there's a free demo on Itch, and you have to pay if you want to stay up to date with the new content and such. That is what those Patreon links you're referring to are.

Edit: Since people are actually paying any amount of attention to this, I need t be clear I was talking out my ass like a damn fool. As was pointed out later here, the difference between the free version and the paid versions is that the free demo has a hard time limit on how long you can play, while the paid versions do not. It is otherwise up to date, and I am a buffoon.

I understand there are pre release versions that are work in-progress of the next version behind the paywall. But shouldn't the links in posts like this for the non-deluxe versions here be the same ones as the one in itch and so not be behind a paywall?

Wait, these are demo versions? I've been using the one I got from patreon. I've never downloaded from here.

I see where the confusion is coming from, that's the $5 version that's being updated an whatnot, the deluxe version is the same version, just with extra bells and whistles. The free version (demo) is available through Aura-Dev's Itch, and I would assume has less content and is either not under active development, or is just further behind the $5 version and the Deluxe version you linked to here.

Easy to get confused when it isn't being made clear that there's a difference between the free demo (which I don't even see advertised or linked on the Patreon, but I didn't look very hard) and the $5 standard version. Basically what Aura-Dev is doing here is they made the post public so that everyone can see what was added, but the actual links are Patreon tier locked, so you can see what's been added, get interested, and get a subscription if you decide you want one.

Edit: I said it was an older post, it's from literally yesterday. Don't know how I fucked that one up.
Second edit: I should probably not have said the demo isn't being updated, as I actually have no idea. I haven't had the chance to play it yet, and I don't have a subscription to compare the versions. I re-read my response and realized I said things that had no basis in reality, and were just things I assumed then put to pen. That was dumb. It happens. Oops.

the ungraspable iceberg of `LPoD` versions:
1. Demo. Free. Time limit.
2. Patreron. Paid. No time limit.
3. Patreon Deluxe. Extra paid. No time limit. Built-in cheats (possibly smth else).
Other than the snark, this is genuinely quite helpful. Clear, concise, and to the point. Actually genuinely thanks for the very simple explanation. It's not like it's an "ungraspable iceberg", it's that it's not immediately clear that there's a demo version for free on itch from a quick glance, thus leading to confusion when people bring up a third version you had no idea bout. This comment helps clear thing up significantly.

what is the difference in content between the Demo and the patreon version?
The demo is a time-limited version: you can only play up to a fixed maximum number of in-game days, then you reach a hard end, but your save is valid if you then upgrade to the Patreon version, which has no in-game time limit
