Being careful about what you post on Patreon should provide you with some degree of protection, though exactly how much isn't certain. Patreon has been known in the past to have people checking creators' Discord channels, and some creators have claimed that action was taken against them based on things which were posted on Discord or in other places which were not Patreon.
Well, it may be too late for me to offer any useful input. It sounds like the die is already cast. But I'm going to take the liberty of putting some of my thoughts on Paul into a DM for you. If you find it compelling, or at least an interesting read, great. If not, I'll just wait and see what the new arc looks like for Paul.The new idea for Paul's story is still largely based on blackmail albeit a completely different blackmail to the photos with Viv so it isn't blackmail per say, I just don't find Paul believable as a person. He's so sadistic and so completely void of any sense of empathy that I imagine probably only happens in really broken early lives or something. It just doesn't fit quite right to me personally. The playful teasing around the house all made sense because it was and still is the case that Paul has always had a crush on Lisa, I just think it went a little crazy and I'm trying to write my way into something less "evil" or at least a different kind of evil
Yes, it's definitely clear that you didn't take this decision lightly. I'm sure that you sweated bullets over it. I'll still hope that it's not too late (in your view) to take feedback into account.
That's wild isn't it? I feared this was the case that they would immediately shut me down even if the content was never released on Patreon. I appreciate the note about deleting comments, I have been tempted to in the past at least once because a comment mentioned something to that degree but I don't think I ended up doing it but I might have a hunt through at some point.

I've mentioned it in the thread before but my vision for Paul is to quickly find himself out of his depth as Lisa gets more corrupted by events and she ends up turning the tables and domming himI mentioned it a little in the Patreon post and I'm gonna expand on it in the next too but Paul's storyline is the one arc of the game I really dislike. I find it hard to reason with Paul in any way which makes it difficult to write and hard to engage myself in.
I've decided to take it in another direction - the planned scenes throughout the Paul arc remain the same or similar but the way in which they're achieved is wholly different. The problem lies in the scenes to date so depending on the reception of the upcoming Paul content it's likely I'll have to scrap a lot of his early content and re-do it. (If I do remake the older scenes I will leave the current content in the recollection room)
I know this will potentially irk some of you guys but I gotta love what I'm doing. I need to be in love with it which I'm not at the moment and I'm pretty sure it shows in the quality of the content. I think it's easier to change things now rather than a year down the line.
Just know that I'm not doing it to upset or annoy anyone, the very idea that this might happen is wracking my nerves already because of how popular Paul's content seems to be. I am so grateful to everyone who plays the game, everyone who sends me wonderful messages or drops a comment in the thread.
I am confident that this new concept is a better storyline with a much more believable premise for the little rat

My suggestion is that any discussion of patches for prohibited content should not be discussed on the open forum but rather through the PM feature. I'm not gonna name any names, but there are quite a few modders out there that might be receptive to a pm from a dev or better yet a duly appointed representative of a dev who might have had the opportunity to drop some lines of code on the way to the supermarket.

Lisa being the protagonist means that the story is told from her perspective. In most cases, being the protagonist also means that the character is central to the resolution of the plot, which we may safely assume will be the case in this game. But in no way does it mean that the protagonist is calling the shots or directing the action of the story. We already know that Lisa is not going to be in control for a lot of the game.
That isn't how blackmail works.
There's a lot more on the line than just Lisa appearing in lesbian photos. She and Viv would probably both hate for Luca to see those photos. Lisa not only has to protect herself, but also protect Viv. But it would a simple matter to write in additional blackmail material for Paul to use.
I was referring to the player who should think like Lisa's character versus a secondary character.
This blackmail for me holds water but it's not so much that which matters but it's the character being addressed that is hardly credible who certainly isn't a character of high morality who certainly has done worse than a lesbian scene with her friend but maybe she herself with her friend and was also starting with Lisa. So in the end Paul blackmails Lisa with what? And most importantly who shouldn't know about those pictures Sharon the slut? So far Lisa and Paul have talked about her as the one they would be addressed to. Luca it's just your plausible hypothesis of course but it remains so at the moment.
IDK man. Creator saying this one of the more popular routes. Feels like if u switch gears too hard by having Paul getting pegged would be a way for it not to be one of the more popular routes anymore. I know I'm liking how it's going right now.
