Hello you guys!

Hope you've all had a nice weekend! I've been busy over the past few days but I've made some good progress in the time I have been inside Daz though! After finishing off the wallpapers I completed the compendium which is fully implemented and tested and now I'm working on the next Byron scene!
The poll ended pretty closely between the Hot Tub / Lisa's Room so it's only fitting that the scene will indeed be both ^_^ I won't spoil what exactly happens but it's gonna be a long scene that'll span the entire evening so I hope that's exciting news! It'll be a similar chill vibe to the beach scene but with a little extra "danger" to spice it up and hopefully it'll be as big a hit if not bigger with team Byron as the beach scene! I'm 40+CG into it currently (they look great so far!) and I suspect that it'll easily be another 100 before it's finished )

When this scene is finished I have to go back and edit all of the Paul blackmail scenes to correctly reflect which variant of the route the player is on which is a daunting task because it'll no doubt give birth to a lot of bugs but it'll be worth it in the end I think ^_^ once that's all done I have a few other bits and pieces to do like Lisa's run in with Connor at Renshire College but I'll note them when I begin working on them properly <3

A little personal info - I felt so relieved (as usual) getting that previous release posted but I've been having these really awful headaches this week, I dunno if it's stress or something but I've been sleeping a lot because of it. I had similar headaches back over the winter months last year too which made me pretty unwell for a period. I've also recently reduced my caffeine intake a significant amount after another visit to a consultant I've been seeing at my local hospital and I've read that weaning yourself off caffeine can cause pretty unpleasant headaches so hopefully they'll pass soon. The whole "Lisa's a coffee addict" is definitely inspired by my own addiction lol! ^_^ But even though I'm a bit on the sleepy side I am still plugging on with the game so don't fret )

Anyway that's really all I have for now guys, it's a short and sweet post but I'll make another post later next week with another progress update <3

WARNING: There is a bug in the Mod Shop Gathering event that will put you on Sharing Route.
To fix this you have to delete the following files in game/scripts/credit events/Mod Shop

• Mod Shop Gathering.rpy
• Mod Shop Gathering.rpyc

and put the attached file in it. Load a save before Mod Shop Gathering event and restart it, if you already played it.
People who already were on Sharing Route can ignore this.

PG is good at creating expressions so i think teasing would absolutely work! Lisa would be an awesome submissive towards Byron.

Hi everyone!! )

Honestly the hardest part of my week is picking the sneak peek CGs lol! I always want to show off some real nice ones but without spoiling too much so it can be a real challenge sometimes! Especially when I'm working solely on one scene like the Byron Visit scene I'm still on ^_^

I keep all of my output renders in a folder called "Day3." That folder was made on the 18th October 2020 which was the third day I ever worked in Daz. I still have the Day1 and Day2 folders just for nostalgia's sake, they're quite hilariously bad. Super grainy, really awkward expressions, all of my favorite things ^_^ I've linked one as the last image in the post, I think I've shared it before but it's at least a recognizable character and set ^_^! I was naming the files based on how many iterations the renderer completed as I was testing which settings gave me the best results (spoiler alert: none of them did because I was rendering CPU only xD) But yeah! Two years in Daz this week and it's been the best addiction of my life lol!!

Anyway back to the game - I've been working on the Byron scene non-stop and I had to double take over the weekend thinking "man I'm so far from finished this." It puzzled me because for most of the games development I've been averaging around 10-15CG per day and I'm certainly not getting worse (or am I? >)) There are a few factors to it; using dForce in every CG for hairs / clothing which definitely takes extra time especially for the more finnicky poses that require short animations (these are only for the dForce objects to fall correctly into place) or constant readjustments / the CGs in this scene much like the previous set are mostly rendered twice to more accurately represent skin wetness but the big one I actually realized is that I'm posing the characters almost entirely manually these days.

Downloading Daz and plugging in some preset characters, clothing and poses is super simple. The software really makes your life easy to get quick results and I remember when I started trying to pose characters myself well over a year ago and some of the results were absolutely horrendous so I mostly stuck to poses downloaded from the three big stores but recently I've taken the wheel completely unconsciously especially during the more intimate scenes where characters are "intertwined." Doing things this way I think helps the feeling of realistic progression in scenes where the CGs are moving in a pretty strict direction rather than characters dancing between poses from shot to shot. I actually had a look over some of my old CGs and I could see the poses I used and I recognized them from the little thumbnails in my library but in this new set of CGs and in the previous release the poses almost all looked unique, isn't that weird? Like my fingers just went to work one day without my permission and started doing things manually ^_^ I daresay this was a gradual progression that I just didn't notice but I thought it was pretty interesting all the same lol )

So where are we.. I'm currently 112 CG in, unfortunately I lost about 6 hours of work yesterday because of this odd timeline bug in Daz (it's happened maybe twice before over 2+ years so no biggie!), I was gonna post last night but I was a bit down after losing all of that work lol. But 112CGs in and still the Byron scene is far from finished so that should be a nice indicator of how much love I'm throwing at it. I know the last release wasn't a real winner so I really wanna make something special in this one as a little pick me up ^_^

But yeah that's basically it from me ^_^ oh I should probably mention that I'm 110% well again, after last weeks post I haven't had a single headache since so that's been pretty great :d I'm a caffeine survivor, currently writing my autobiography so be on the lookout x)
