I NEED ANOTHER DAY

I know, I'm actually the worst. I'm really sorry, I hate doing this but it's just not ready yet.

I'm not kidding when I say the amount of text in this update is borderline illegal. When I open some of the event pages in RPGM it literally lags my PC. I have a 12th Gen i9 and my PC stutters swapping pages. Still; I'm not making excuses, I'm just so awful at predicting the time it takes to finalize writing. It happens every release.

On a positive note I think the writing is pretty good. My fears from a week ago about the writing being dull or uninspired have pretty much faded after a few playthroughs. The latter sections of the routes also, very obviously show a divergence in Lisa's personality which I'm really pleased with.

When moving to the DL GG scenes I realized I hadn't even implemented about 70~ CG and where I thought it was a pretty simple copy and paste with some tweaks it turned out to be a lot more than that. This is just poor organization by me.

Okay this post is too long already, I really gotta get back to it. The stress is driving me crazy, I need to get this release done before I start losing hair. Whatever happens and whatever state it's in, it'll be online tomorrow evening x

Eh, they should add a fourth Lesbian parameter, the more Lesbian parameter each time, thereby Lisa begins to like girls. If there are a lot of Lesbian parameters, then Lisa will say that she wants to break up with the guy, and she can choose which girl to date, or even to date several girls.

Gone

I don't even know how to say this but the entire map file for the JP events has completely deleted itself on my final run through of the patch. I was about 40% through and closed the event page to save the project, it stalled and the little windows loading circle was stuck on my cursor. RPGM crashed and the map file is completely empty. Literally everything is gone. I'm just sitting here bewildered in a cold sweat. I've just tried a system restore from a point made last night at 8pm but it didn't recover the map file. (I don't know if there's another option in how to restore old files, if anyone knows one that might save a life here)

It's actually cursed.

Just this morning I had moved all of the GGPt2 variants into the temp Recollection Room which is still there so I can copy most of that data through but the choices and the structure is all gone. The biggest issue is that the sharing scene hadn't been transferred yet so there's something like 250~ CG worth of writing, formatting, sound and script all gone. I just don't even have words to describe how upset I am rn.

I used to back everything up but I slowly stopped doing it over time because I never ran into issues. My last backup was 24/07/23. I can take the map file from the previously uploaded patch but again the issue lies with losing the entire sharing scene.

My head is throbbing, I feel sick to my stomach, I'm just so done.. On my last coffee break I was just thinking how excited I was to finally get this release out and how I was gonna rest a bit once it was done but fuck that, another curve ball just for fun. It's my own fault for not backing it up but that knowledge doesn't take the sting out.

If you want I can scratch together the GGPt2 scenes from the RR and post them in a few hours but the Hscene won't be ready for a while. Excuse me while I go break something x

Well, to see the positive side of this pile of shit. He will start again to backup more frequently.
If you have put so much work into a project, no one wants to imagine what would happen with a ransomware infection or just a total failure of an HDD/SDD. This would be devastating (not only for us fans, but for PG too). So I am the master of backups, cloud and on premise in a private remote site (I just lack of working on a excellent porn game :) ).

If PG lost the raw save DAZ files then there's nothing but to start all over again... If not then push the release date and release it with all the routes completed... may that be in either March or April...

Don't know about others but I am willing to wait...

So PG, go for a walk, have some hot soup, go get some weed and think... DON'T MAKE ANY DECISION ON EMPTY STOMACH!!!
