Forgot to post bout it here, but I tried New Horizon a while back...
I can't believe the dev wrote that without planning the plot first! Sure it has many chaotic bits, but the plot's like way tighter than you normally see when a dev makes stuff up as they goes along. The contrast with early OiaL is insane. So I thought the story, tho a bit uneven, was a lot more solid than the usual in VNs. And the amount of background music and sound effects seriously impressed me too.
Can't say it's for me tho. The humour and memes were peak brainrot, made me feel like it was written for players who're half my age, and I'm 24 so that'd be a bit of an issue for an adult game. Probably just too big of a cultural gap. And the "university" sure hit my NACGB hard.
Anyway it's pretty good, but not something I think I'll follow.

I feel that's kinda unfair, I don't think NTR writers or devs are as an average really that different in their experiences from other adult writers and devs from the same country. I think it's more a trope thing, and those tropes come from Japanese hardporn so yeah they're weird and insane. To be honest there's some overlap in bad tropes with in crappy generic harem games too, think DoD.

I'm so glad you liked it, but the story is quite long, we're not even halfway through the first season yet (There will be three seasons). But yes, it can feel a bit rushed. I'm trying to fix that. And I might be a little too obsessed with the characters when it comes to accessories and outfits, sorry.Just finished DawnFall, and it will be the first game released in 2025 in A tier. Tbh,I liked everything , dialogues are great and simple,everything reads easily. Story is a bit complicated,but not over complicated. More to that,pace is really fast,I already feel like half of the story was explained
Overall,music is okay
In-game codex explaining some things
Tho,it's pretty much reminds me of teen comedy,so if you're not into that,might not feel well for you.
GUI is great, not only sex scenes are animated,animations and renders quality is far better than average
Some minor cons:
Just like it happens with many new vns, idk,if the devs want to make their characters more unique,so they add every single accessory they found or there are other reasons,but sometimes this too much
"Sweet" characters are a bit too caricatures
Second sex scene with Rosaria feels a bit rushed.
All the harem girls are already into MC,well,actually every single that appears here is into mc
The story itself is a bit cliche - I need to unlock my memories
As of lis,I feel like Erika will be my fav one and she's clearly inspired by Ahri from League of Legends

Bella and Erika are little complicated.
All the main girls will have their own arcs throughout the story. For example, we're currently in Rosaria's arc, but Erika and Bella won't have any arcs, so I can't exactly call them main girls, but they're not side girls like Jasmine either. I can say that story-wise, they're not at the main girl level, but in terms of relationship progression, they are.

I see what you mean, well maybe try it again, this are probably some of the reasons you didn't like it:yep,tbh,I feel like I played it a long time ago and didn't really like it
Looking at this now,graphics are not bad,but don't look really impressive(no animations)
Plot doesn't sound really interesting as well
And all those is multiplied by dozens of negative reveiws
I'll add it to checklist tho,because it's not the first time somebody mentions it
It was originally a slow burning game with slow corruption mechanics, a lot of people don't like that, but it has speeded up as of a few years ago, since its been many, many updates, dozens since things are heated. But if you play from scratch then there is some time before the corruption breaks through the main Lis, so frustration can set in, but you do progressively advance the game. Even though there's been some retconning to make it "move the plot faster".
The main thing is, RHC has a killer Main Li, Adrianna, so many of us look past a LOT of what we dislike about the game just for her. And then you have people who enjoy the corruption part of the game as well (i'm fine with that) or they also like the abusive MC, which i actually heavily dislike, and his creative ways to "enjoy" himself ofc some people like that (hit and miss really, it depends on your kinks), and a lot of his paying supporters do, not all. if you support you can see the polls, and the supporters are divided between being "nice" and "abusive". Somehow a balance has been found and more options about how you treat your girls, specially the main ones, have been added, but not always. I guess like any game if you can turn off in your head what you don't like and just enjoy it. I don't even like the Incest part either for example, so i just re write the dialogue in my head lol.
It has 4 and a half stars, i never noticed it had so many negative reviews, now that i've skimmed through them i see that its mostly people who can't stomach the MC's attitude or the slow burn. I mean, understandable but its like complaining you don't like blue, then why go to a store where its all blue? , Most people give it 4 or 5 stars.
Its also a late 2020/21 game, so it was a first for many. Certainty it was a shock for me to see the MC do his shenanigans, i just fast forward what i don't like.
