Recommending List of my favorite Honey Select 1&2 games [upd 6.11.25]

If it's not too much work, the ones with potential could be on their own smaller table and then get promoted to the actual recommendations if they reach said potential.

I'm not sure if it works now,because a long time ago I was trying to make a second table in the op,but it always showed up broken,
anyway,I can also make a post somewhere to save them.At first,I was going to have the second table for the checklist,now I think I could make one for excluded/declined games,and another one for promising ones

Without reading synopsis,first thing I already dislike is too thick models. They look really unique compared to default hs,but remind me more of sims than hs

ehh,well,as always quickly ran through it with the skip button,as of technical aspects,common animations are ok,sex animations...well,they are not awful,but compared to what we see in 2025 they look pretty weak.You can push hs1 to its limit to have actually great images
A bit of free roam,that's why there is a sandbox tag,but it's fine.You don't need to wait for a certain day or something.
A small quiz on your school knowledge was okay.
Overall, dev has some ideas,but they all are kinda outdated at this point, pretty sure he's inspired by OIALT, and taking inspiration from it in 2025 may not be successful. Not to mention 1.5 year dev circle for unpopular game is a bit too much. However,I'll still keep an eye on it

You're absolutely right about the animations. I'm the first one who wants them to improve and to be able to create scenes with much more quality and life.

You mentioned that "you can push HS1 to its limit" to have great images, and that is totally true! The big problem is that rendering those high-quality scenes requires power that my current equipment can't handle.

In fact, I just published a post on Itch explaining this technical limitation in detail. If you're curious, in it I show the PC I work with and how it directly impacts the visual quality and development times.

You know I just assumed that getting a "Not Responding" window when loading scenes was normal lol, I feel your pain on that part. Best of luck with getting some hardware upgrades.

To me looks like a welcome variation. And nothing wrong with a good Sims game btw (I find they have charm, and also good for variation )

Abuse is a pretty strong word. As long as devs contribute / there's actual relevant discussion and they're not blatantly self-promoting or smthng, I welcome their presence.

Up till now, although yeah, surely (new) devs like to get noticed / make themselves known, I think it's okay and discussion has been on point. The devs I've seen in this thread seem pretty mature, and are no trash producers or smthng. So in that regard all good IMO. And it's perfectly fine of course to respond to stuff / get involved in the discussion when you see your game's mentioned or discussed right.

It's result of the thread getting recognition, that's not bad.

Twisted Memories is excellent with a lot of beautiful girls and it is a lot of fun to play. It has been 10 months since the last update though so I'm really hoping it isn't abandoned but it still has quite a lot of content to play.

Twisted Memories is on the Checklist, but crossed out due to "unavoidable Loli LI". Even tho, I think that OP should check it out at some point, since the Characters have had a height increase in the latest chapters (and the upcoming one).

Oh, sure, but if you are against that kind of content in the first place, you would not promote the game, even if the content is skippable.

And personally, I would not skip it in the first place, since it provides some different bodyshapes than big badonkas, since BaiBai and Breast Sliders have a special relationship. You can even see this with the changes for emily, BaiBai just cannot help himself with Breast Sliders.
