Has anyone found a working way to trigger the suspicious night events with the murderer?

I tried everything and even startet from scratch and focussed on Gipsy and Lilly.

If I hadn't unlocked the gallery with "brownheart" I wouldn't even have known at all that I missed very much content the game didn't even give the tiniest clues about.

Right now I am frustrated.
