There is no special trigger, but it seems to have poor save interaction meaning you might have to start from the beginning or wait for the public release for the fix. The reason I know this is that I started a new game from the 49.5 update and it was right there on Linda's objectives list.

for those that would like to see the gallery for this game and other renpy games, so far this has worked for me. make sure you put it in the game folder of whichever game you would like the gallery to be unlocked. Google Drive
i highly suggest to actually play the game first and only use it if you lose all of your progress. this has happened to me a few times, and yes, i actually played this game up to almost the recent update and lost everything due to getting a new computer and having to reset my computer, thus, only used it to see the new scenes.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this game personally.
