Probably an issue on your end. I downloaded it and tried it out and it looks great, however there's really not much content to be had yet it seems. Everything feels very "alpha version" here, even if it's pretty well polished graphically-speaking.
tl;dr: This game is just... boring? There's nothing here. It feels like a 12gb tech demo. You walk around for a while, barely interact with anything, and then quit. GG. I recommend saving your bandwidth and skipping this one, it's really not worth the download unless you have a particular fascination with walking around in Unreal tech demos without content.

My experience with the game:
I had to turn NPCs up to the max setting before I saw anyone walking around, and even then they are very few and far between with pretty standard responses. Interactions and dialogue feel similar to The Sims 4 in some ways, but that's about the extent of that comparison for me. Everything else feels like a life simulator that's just missing content.
I ran around for about 20 minutes, exploring buildings and buying things, but generally there didn't really seem to be much to do beyond decorating my starting apartment with the items given to me at the beginning, and then just running around the world exploring (or riding on an e-scooter instead of running, lol).
Apparently the dev is planning on turning this into an online multiplayer game with NFTs and microtransactions, which is just hilarious to me. Dev wants to replace every NPC with human players instead (except a select few apparently...presumably shopkeepers/etc?)... can't imagine they've got the playerbase to support that.
The best part? There seems to be no actual adult content in game. Romantic options seem to be limited to kisses on the cheek and hugs... and NPCs probably won't even let you do that if your experience is anything like mine.

this seems like a project for a multi-team of developers, interesting and great premise, there is a clear hole in the market for a game like this. it might take years, but let me know when is ready.

this game is clearly not made for a small development team, otherwise this would take ages upon ages. unless there is some clear talent, and budget behind... if it ever comes out, ill play, but im def. not suporting until feature complete.

Meh this game looks like you could wind up playing for hours before you see even the slightest shred of nudity. Everything is needlessly complicated. Too much work.

Nah, the game was announced as a lifesim but the dev left this game in the floor for like 3 years with technically no real update just bug fixes every 3 months or so. Recently he said he gonna convert the single player to a mmo, the character doesn't even have genitals.
