Even if she is not a child, it is quite ridiculous that she looks like a child. Many games do this and I don't understand it. I wonder who liked this stupid idea the first time.

Why do people like scat?
Why do people like watersports?
Why do people like tall girls?
Why do people like chunky girls?
Why do people like armpits in a sexual manner?
Why do people like feet in a sexual manner?
Why do people like collarbones in a sexual manner?
Why do people find their mother/father attractive?
Why do people find their sister/brother attractive?

Unless you're looking to get a degree in psychology, it's really a stupid thing to even think about since 90% of the time the person themselves have no clue why they like what they like. And if they say they do, it's most likely bullshit.

But to answer the first part, small women exist. And it's not even a rarity. There are more small, childlike women then there are tall, full bodied women. This is why those women (the tall, full bodied ones) are snapped up to be in sports or modeling asap. And if it exists, there is going to be a market for it. For better or worse.

This behavior is tolerated because you have many antis as memebers and staff here. Because of that, this is why users left this place for LC (Lewd _ Corner.com).

I also disagree with that "objective" definition of loli, as it includes a number of decidedly not-loli girls. I can't accept any definition which classifies Nott from Critical Role as a loli.

I also disagree with the idea that the loli needs to be sexualized. It's a way of referring to childlike anime girls, sex isn't actually part of it any more than it is for Onee-san type characters. It'd be like saying Maddie Fenton isn't a MILF because she isn't sexualized in the show.

Personally I think loli is more of an overarching term for a whole clade of character types, which even then can be divided into two supergroups before all being grouped into lolis. I'd give these five groupings:

-True Lolis (Must be short, flat-chested, and proportioned like children with regards to the media they're in - IRL standards applied to anime would have 90% of anime characters wind up as kids, which is obviously not true.)
--Actual Children
---These are characters who are either actually the age they appear in-universe (500 year old vampire? No, she's nine.), or who behave like children (not childish, actually like children). That girl from Kodomo no Jikan, or (if I'm right, I don't play Genshin) Klee.
--Teen Lolis
---Characters who are technically 18 or whatever, and behave like teenagers, but they're drawn like they're preteens. Think Taiga Aisaka.
--Lolibabas
---Could plausibly be split again into loli MILFs and proper lolibabas, but given loli MILFs are so rare I don't see any point. This grouping is for lolis who behave like old ladies and aren't in-universe kids. The GILF loli from 100 kanojo is a good example, or Senko-san.

-False Lolis (Must be short, and EITHER flat-chested or proportioned like a child, but NOT both.)
--Oppai Lolis
---These are characters who are proportioned like children and are short, but have massive honkers. May or may not be an actual child in-universe.
--Petites
---Characters who are short and flat, but who aren't proportioned like a child (at least most of the time - you know how anime changes from shot to shot). Think Louise from Familiar of Zero; she's often lumped in with lolis, but if you actually sit and look at her, the way she's drawn is like a grown woman, she's just short and flat as fuck. Her legs are way too long and her head too small to be a proper loli though, she doesn't look anything like a kid. Yukari, the purple-haired girl from Yuyushiki, is also a good example. They might have very small breasts too.

I think Shortstacks and Chibi characters might be related, but I don't think I'd ever lump either under the banner of Lolis. They're just too far from it.

Words from the loli guru
I think what defines a loli can be broken down in a very simple way, are they short, petite, and cute. Not beautiful or pretty, but cute. I'm not saying you can't include the other traits in the design, but overall, the character must have a cute appearance.

Characters like Illya from fate prisma, Tanya from saga of Tanya, Shinobu from monogatari, Rebecca from edgerunners, Shiro from NGNL, and apparently like half the characters from Genshin

All have different body types but are considered lolis because they are all short, petite, and cute.

I wouldn't call shortstacks loli because they lack the petiteness aspect and chibi isn't because it's just a completely different style.

Counterpoint: Fairies don't typically count as loli.

Guss i should have said short within reason lol
Not just the height, but also the "aspect ratio" for lack of a better term.
Consider Bae and Gigi (....'s vtuber avatars) from Hololive. Gigi is a loli while Bae is not, despite Gigi (153) being 4 cm taller than Bae (149). There's also a few Holo talents with a height of exactly 150 cm, but Kobo is the only loli among them.

Also, oppai lolis are lolis who just happen to have huge boobs, like the girl from Kaedeko's illustrations; and to a lesser extent, the imoutos from Inusuku's Monochrome games. Those girls are a bit top-heavy but otherwise loli coded.

Ackcyually, none of those are lolis, at least not the classical type. There's a word I've seen lately, and that is even kinda used in recent loli discussions, but the hololive vtubers you mention would just be short teens, or 'hebes' as the cool kids call them now.

My issue is that this definition snips out Oppai Lolis. While those definitely aren't proper lolis they're clearly related and a lot of lolicons are fine with them, so I think they should be included in any big, overarching definition.

It feels weird to say two of the main trio from Kodomo no Jikan are lolis, but you can fap to the third underage child without being a lolicon. That feels wrong.

tl;dr:

Honestly, there isn't much to see right now. It's basically an introduction to the game's story and systems, takes less than an hour to reach the end of beta. You can take a quick peek if you have time to spare, but you're also not missing much if you choose not to.

Credit where it's due though, it does look pretty good, especially when you compare with most other Ren'Py games out there.
