I just wanted to know...what is it with all the incest games? i dont get the appeal of it...for people that like incest games, is it cos you like your sister/mother/daughter sexually in real life? im just trying to find where the appeal is. I mean i have a mother and sisters, and to think anything sexual about them, for me is the grossest thing i can think of...can someone that likes this genre please shed some light on it...btw i dont buy the argument "its just so taboo, hence its nice"...i genuinely want to know what the appeal is to these incest games, and i see there are tons of them.

Well, it sounds like you aren't going to buy my argument, but I genuinely get a kick out of the taboo. The corruption of the familial bond into something more excites me. I've also a mother and sisters, and I don't think of them sexually. I don't find any of them attractive, and the idea of fucking them is gross to me. But that doesn't mean I'm incapable of enjoying an incest story about another family.
It doesn't make sense to dismiss a fetish with "its just a taboo so it's nice". People get bored of ordinary porn all the time, hence the existence of so many fetishes. Look to more mainstream outlets and you can see that normal porn is just following along the path that these games have set. Pornhub.com is loaded with fake "incest" porn now and websites like sisloveme popping up.
In short, just because you aren't into something isn't a reason to dismiss it.

Let me answer that with some other questions:
Why do people play shooters? Is it because they want to grab a weapon, go out on the street and just go on a rampage in real life?
Why do people play RPGs? Is it because they want to forge a sword, run to the nearest woods and just ask random strangers to give them quests in real life?
Why do people play racing games? Is it because they hate traffic, don't care for rules and speed limits and just want to press the pedal to the metal in real life?
Why do people play RTS games? Is it becaue they love war, enjoy commanding beings into enemy fire to see them get killed and don't care for the well-being of others in real life?
It's called fiction, roleplay, fantasy, imagination or whatever. Just because you try something virtually it does not mean you would do that in real life or even think about trying it. However, I agree the amount of incest games is way to high atm and while I enjoy some of them I wish more developers would provide other and fresh scenarios.

To be fair, I wish this was socially acceptable. I would love to go on an epic quest. Probably wouldn't survive long, but it's fun to imagine.

I have to say - I'm REALLY disappointed with this month's update, and, to an extent, last month's. Last month was essentially just the one scene dragged out over the space of the month, and 0.9 hasn't made up for it. The quality is quite seriously dipping for $30 a month, I don't know how anyone can honestly justify pledging that much at the moment. I was a big fan of this game and Inceton but I'm slowly losing interest because it just seems like he's become one of these patrons who drags out the updates to squeeze as much cash as possible. Correct me if I'm wrong but did Impure not do the same thing for a while? This is seriously worrying me. Come on, Inceton, I love your work please just give us a bit more.

Don't worry, you are not alone. While the art part is still decent or even very good, the story became the definition of a clusterfuck. We had one week of only bro'n'sis. Let's skip this and bring back the parents asap. And this teasing and refusing keeps getting on and on. In 0.8 you finished with expecting some camping scenes and guess what happens in 0.9? Meh. I don't even know what to think about this 'warning' in the mall about future outcomes. I have my doubts about that.
Well, I decided last month to just check out what crazy turns they will come up with and don't spend to much focus on this one anymore. It would probably be the best if they just start a redo from scratch with an actual story script without making votes what to implement and follow that plan rigorously.

yea after 0.8 we expected camping trip but so far we have only prepared for it (started in 0.8 and continued in 0.9) so at this rate actual camping will happen in version 0.13.

A little bit. I'm under the impression he's done it just for everyone that complains about MSM being more of a VN than an actual game and just transferred everything onto Ren'py. I personally don't care what a game is made on, I actually prefer RPGMV games to Ren'py because I find it somewhat more immersive, but that's just me.

I've downloaded Act 2 from every source listed on the front page and all refused to be unzipped claiming "Could not open file (Downloaded file title) as archive. Even downloaded WinZip but that didn't help. Any clue what's up? Doesn't look like anyone else had the issue but Burt.
