Wolf RPG - Completed - Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy [v2.0.0 + DLC] [Inusuku]

5 Stars is described as "Excellent", and I believe that sums up the game very well. It's an improvement on its predecessor in almost every way.

Only real gripes I have are the current translation quality, which leaves a little to be desired (and will improve with time I imagine), and pregnancy being always being an endgame scenario, which I think the previous title handled much better.

I also liked how some items and mechanics worked in the previous game better than here (primarily the aphrodisiac and sister statuses), and found the new workings to be a downgrade in comparison.

On the other hand, the game knows what you're here for and gives it to you in spades. Quality is just as high as the previous game, but now there's about twice as much action you can take, which is always nice. Variety is the spice of life.

TL;DR, excellent game. Play the prequel first because it is also an excellent game, and some QoL stuff makes it hard to play it for the first time after this one.

The game is much better improvement compared to the predecessor with more cg, plot, animation, and story. The components where additional choices and events has caused the game to be a pretty fun and entertaining cohabitation game. A much better choice than sister monochrome, bottle of biosphere, and teaching feeling.
Kawaii moment

I absolutely love this game, between the day part where your out with your guild friends handling various tasks or back with your sister taking care of her and interacting with her. This game takes a direct approach on building up the trust and sexual desire. Very well made and well executed. Lots of good scenes and various angles. 9/10 Highly recommend

I strongly disagree with the notion this game is a masterpiece.

You can brick your save if you have unprotected sex, because pregnancy is an instant game-over. Hours of play GONE just because of having sex a single time. That is not a masterpiece.

Side characters cannot be trained directly, and only during random events if you have +20 energy in the afternoon. That is not a masterpiece.

There is zero setup when you start the game so you're just dropped in blind. That is not a masterpiece.

The list goes on. I enjoyed the game, but it is NOT a masterpiece.

The game is really well made, black and white like reading manga, characters drawn are really nice, erotic and challenging, music is good too, sadly no voice but is excellent enough for playing, many scenario and surprises to discover

This game is an absolute masterpiece in almost every way, more games that play like this one in the world would be amazing. The art while in black and white without the added mods is still very satisfying and adorable. Thank you for sharing.

Story : Decent

- The story's premises is quite basic, you lived with your little sister. Your father is an adventurer searching the cure for your little sister. You're also working in a rather new guild and trying your best to work hard since you and your little sister also want to have a big adventure. From there the story unfold with an interesting development.


Gameplay : Good

- Following the same basis as prequel, your main gameplay is mostly interacting with your little sister. However it's been expanded quite bit and gives you more option to play around with your sister. There's also night-crawling section which also has been quite expanded with a new position and interaction. There's also a new twist when you did something similar in the previous game, it may (or may not ) surprise you.


- The guild and adventure section is a bit barebone as for now and the combat is quite basic. As long as you consistently grow your stat and skills, you should have no difficulty advancing through this... Although at the end game, the game implicitly says to focus on your sister.


- The AP as per usual determines how you manage your action for your sister and for the guild and there's also Skill Point you can spend to enhance either aspect of the game. Money is quite tight in this game, you shouldn't expect that you could buy many things in one week. However this issue get alleviated somewhat at the end game section since you obtained a skill that convert your Skill Point into gold and your income now become quite stable, go wild with that but always be responsible brother!

Art : Great

- The prequel have a lot of nice artwork but this one is even better. Everything looks even more polished and a lot more lively. There's a little animation although it's not the best you can have, it still give particular interactions feel more comfy and personal.

Music : Superb

- A playful music that complement your interaction with your little sister, a lovely music for spending your time with little sister at weekend or wild music while in great adventure, the uneasiness of random subjugation battle, the determination at guild battle and epic battle against the final boss. Every music in this game complement it really well, 10/10 would listen again.

Bug : Some ants

- Every game cannot escape this thing, that include this game. There's a bit issues here and there like titles not working, some button went missing on certain occasion, cannot escape from status screen for some odd reason (personal experience).
Either way there's no crash bug at the very least. Since this game is still in development, expect most of them will get fixed.

Translation : Rough... But it's getting better

- The translation... While still quite rough, the core interaction with your sister is definitely have better treatment with translation which is definitely needed the most. The story still rough, but the translator still working hard on it. Expect this to be better in the future. Thanks for the hard work!

Overall : A great game
- If you like Teaching Feeling, One Room or similar game, you will definitely like this game. It's also a great sequel from Imouto! Life. Highly recommend this game for the others to play!

One of the best games tackling the topic of living with one girl. Art is great, building relationship is great, grind is easy to skip due to the cheat tables. There are a lot of options and a lot to do with a girl, different positions, places and situations, there is full control over what's happening. Definitely waiting for the third part.

The game's really good. It's got enough depth in the combat to break the usual stuff, and all the characters are great. While the controls can get finicky at times, it works well enough. And the H stuff looks really good, too.

great game, a good upgrade from the last game, really loving this series of games, can only hope for more, hopefully the next game will have even more sex options since the overall gameplay was upgraded but the sexual interactions were just a bit better if not the same more or less.

Pretty grindy and a bit unforgiving if you don't keep save backups with the difficulty but still pretty fun and cozy. Translation as of 0.2 is mostly finished and playable but some side things will be in english but make no sense. A lot of tutorial stuff is unfortunately untranslated yet.

This game is a ton of fun and very sexy. The translation is, I'm sorry to say, extremely rough - to the point I'm not sure what people are trying to say sometimes, but there's so much here that's just wonderful, I can overlook it.

There's an actual fun dungeon-crawl style turn-based JRPG buried inside the life/dating sim aspects of the game and things progress over the course of 4-5 hours of play, but for the next 5+ hours, things keep changing and you get new and interesting options for your relationship.

Will you be a heart-eyed romantic and care for your dear sister? Or will you take what you need to sleep and tend to your duties? It's a very weird game to bite into, but it's quite good.

Literally the same game as its predecessor, but with a few added features like guild management, battles, randomized adventures - all of which weren't properly fleshed out. Oh, and the shop now is only accessible during your days off and only if you decide to go hanging out in the city, which is... a strange change, as in I kind of understand why it was done this way, but at the same time I am not completely sure if an already grindy game needed some extra amount of "choose this, lose that" factors.

Overall I'd give this game somewhere around 3.5/5, but since I'm not allowed to, I might as well give it a 4. The new imouto design is pretty cute and overall the game plays a bit better than the first one due to the fact that there's a bit more stuff to do, than just "go to the job/wait a few seconds/come back home/lewd imouto/go to sleep".

Also, kudos to the people who translated this game in the very first days since release, that's some true passion for imoutos.

Really good game! I like the art, the girl is cute. Gameplay is a bit boring and need long time to unlock sex scenes. The amount of sex scenes is pretty nice, you can unlock more of them. The music was also pretty nice, one of few game I don't turn sound off for.

This game is a massive step up from the previous title, I would say it's greatly improved in all areas and I really like the little RPG mechanics that have been added to the overall gameplay loop, it's now a lot more fun to actually play.

The title system remains a fun little mechanic to shape your run.

That said it also feels like it's just a step up from the last game rather than something really new, it feels like a 2.0 of the last game and what flaws it had, though minor, are still present.

In particular, for me at least, I feel like the sexual content is lacking considering it's basically the same as the last but with a new position or two. I would have liked to have seen more variety, like being able to have sex in different locations instead of just the bed and bath really. Taking her over a chair, outdoors or other kinky stuff would have been a sweet addition. Perhaps in the next game if there is to be one.


Still a great game none the less. The art is brilliant and the black and white style is done to perfection, at a glance you would think the lack of colour would bring a lack of detail but it's all visually appealing especially if you're in to manga.

In summary:

- Much more fun to play than the last game
- Sex content could do with more variety, particularly location
- Art style is on point
- Plenty reasons to replay if you're a completionist

Easily the best game of 2022 (so far) and one of the best game of the whole site.

PROS:
-Great GRAPHICS! (this is kind of subjective i guess), i love the manga/comic like drawings, the sister is very kawaii.
-"Corruption" gameplay: very interesting gameplay, slow and credible progression, good pacing not too fast, not excessively slow.
-"Guild" Gameplay: this is one of those games when you come (cum?) for the porn and stay for other stuff too, the story is engaging enough and the gameplay of the level ups and quests is very interesting. The combat is interesting, needs some strategy but is never too difficult.
-The LEWD: this game is very rewarding in the lewd department, more than the previous version

CONS:
- The grind becomes a little ripetitive on the long run, but not as bad as other games
- the money are kinda hard to come buy

TL;DR: This game is very good, has great graphics and very rewarding gameplay both in the lewd department and in the rregular gameplay. The pacing is very good and the story is interesting, an upgrade from the already good version that was the first game!

Whole game are make with love. All are well-draw with artist knowing what they doing and combine with simple gameplay and story of you living with sister working and rising fame guild in fantasy world.

This is the sequel of the creators previous game which is linked in the main post. Despite that the stories are not particularly connected with the previous work being set in modern day japan while this one is in a generic fantasy setting.

The work follows the protagonist and his sister in there day to day fantasy life. Here the brother works with the local guild of the small village in which her lives while deepening his relationship with his sister.

The game is in principle a rpg mixed with a raising sim.

On the rpg side of things you have your work with the guild where you work alongside 3 cute girls. The guildmaster who is an elf lady as well as two companions who accompany you on your adventures, another fighter and a healer. You take part in various turn based battles which are of decent difficulty. All the characters have a role in the fight and unless you grind properly the combat can present a decent challenge. Or a much more sever one if you are willing to play harder difficulties. As you progress and get a better hand of the mechanics this should get easier.

On the raising sim side it is you during the nights after work as well as the weekends taking time to spend developing your relationship with your sister. She has four main stats, there is trust and interest representing how much she trusts you and how much of an interest she has in sex respectively. These should raise steadily throughout the game and will not lower unless you fuck up. The other two mood and lust will go up and down in response to various factors throughout the game and you have to manage them more actively. As trust and interest grow you will be able to engage in more and more lewd activities with your sister.

Now based on just this description so far you may get the impression that this game is just two systems bolted together but this is largely not the case, the two systems have a great deal of overlap, first is a shared energy bar for our protagonist, you only have so much energy a day and spending it on one side of the game loses you the opportunity cost of using it for the other. There is also the fact that the story will rely on you progressing things with elements of both sides, such as a story element on the guild side relying on you making some advancements made while interacting with your sister. In turn adventuring will supply you with the wealth you need to buy things to help your relationship with your sister as well as skill points that help your character grow in both the rpg mechanics as well as the raising sim and sex section. Some of the developments with your sister are even gated behind some adventures. So you have good reason to engage with both sides of the game and see them as an interconnected whole.

The characters themselves are rather tropey with a reliance on common archetypes and the story is in turn a rather basic plot involving saving your local small town guild from disbanding by winning wealth and prestiege neccesary to keep it open. Your sister also has a side plot regarding her own sickly state you need to resolve using the adventure system but it too is only a bit developed.
Despite these criticisms I would say it does not detract overly much from the game. The hero's are likeable, the antagonists are annoying but not excessively so and the plot resolves neatly and cutely. Which for a game like this which sells itself more around the mechanics and relationship development with the sister who is cute is more than enough.

The game does also have sex scenes of both the more traditional sense which do have some very limited animation of switching between a couple of frames as well as a more developed night crawling system where you can interact with your sister more directly. These carry over from the previous title and work just as well as there with it providing a largely engaging and enjoyable distraction so long as such gameplay is to your tastes.

The art style as is evident from the main page is monochrome drawings. I enjoy the art but that is of course subjective. I will say the style remains consistent throughout so if you enjoy it from what you can see here you can rest assured it is representative of the final product as well.

On the whole this a good fun game if you enjoy raising sims and rpg's as the game will provide plenty of entertainment for both.

It is a well above quality game and it is worth at least giving a try.

(This review is done on the v.0.1 version of the translation which is on the whole complete but with some awkward phrasing and such still in the text, so some things like the story might be better if later versions are released.)
