Your guild doing cooking was a backup plan cause you were shit at fighting. All I know is you won't need to do that. I too am waiting for the DLC to drop before I do a 15 point NG+ playthrough and I'm still deciding how virgin the sister will be. Something tells me that the guildmates won'T have much sexual conent it is just going to be bonus scene or two.

Does the game have an actual end point or can you keep going indefinitely after the story is done?

After the last story quest, the game goes indefinitely
The game's story has a final boss at I think day 99 or 100, after which it goes on indefinitely if you win - although you will be locked out of daily training until you finish the first Grand Adventure, if you didn't finish it before day 100.
The hot springs content shows up some time after clearing both the final boss and the first Grand Adventure, and contains light ecchi with the imouto and guildmates. And also terrorism.
Daily training resumes at that point, too, in case the hot springs or the Super Grand Adventure kicks onii-chan's ass.
