- you DL a launcher.
- you get to play the "prior to latest" patch, usually.
- there is a [Memories] section in the main menu, to access every H-scene.
- this is objectively the best way to experience the game, as everything else tied to gameplay and exploration.. is fluff.
the design of blue fox in this game is quite nice, so if you wanna see her succ, giv titfuck or get shagged, it's there.
if you need a build up of atmosphere leading into these experiences, you should play this version instead.
the writing for the main character in this game is not fantastic and regardless of whether you enjoyed, played or experienced any Star Fox game with her in it, almost every piece of dialogue feels out of character and you can feel the bald 40 year old writing behind every word she spouts, sadly. no sexy. very very sad penis.

Yo, IJUST got to know about LOK as a whole yesterday, and a while ago got to know about the Rebirth Project.
1. What did they fuck up here?
2. Was there any old version of the Rebirth, that had scenes removed in the latest version or something?
Like does the latest 0.1.9.2 have stuff removed from v0.1.8.0? Likewise, does v0.1.8.0 have stuff removed from it's old versions?
3. I have seen another game with the exact same title (LOK:RE), but it's v0.8, but it's older than this one, and looks much different. What's up with that?
Can anyone please dump a refresher for me? ;-;

Everyone is talking about version 0.8, which is their old project. It's more developed than the current version.

So the new one have the story AND the scenes rewritten? Bruh was this even needed?
At the risk of stepping on some toes, here is and extremely long story short.
The other game, 0.8 was started by the artist, Kuja, who wanted to make a full RPG with story, combat, quests, etc. But, he is an artist, so he gathered a team to do the writing, animation and coding. All around good intentions, but extremely green team, nobody had experience with game development yet.
So, one of the team members, Abelius, found out that he has a talent for all of the work, so he started to do writing, coding and animations on his own. He basically made 80% of the 0.8 game by himself. By all accounts he is great at working alone, but he can only work alone. So he did everything except the drawing and because he did all the work, he saw it fit to take almost all the money as well.
As a result, Kuja, the team leader became a commissioned artist in his own project and the other guys became jobless and moneyless. And as time went on, the patches became shorter and the dev time became longer.
Insert literal hundreds of pages of shitstorm here.
The rest of the team decided to kick Abelius out of the project and start over.
Either way if you are new to this, "LoK" games have been around for almost as long as the internet exists, at the very least since flashplayer and java existed, and this site features 2-3 more from other creators, if you like the basic premise.

Even back in the flash-era, there were about a dozen LoK games and only 2 of them had any amount of content worth mentioning and only one of those two could be considered complete.It is...like the curse of breeding season

Hmmm trueee, but if we think like this then Princess Peach flash games where the start of this curse hahahaha I remember one that it was very good one but it dissapear in the dark. Btw both projects started at Ulmf right? (Including the copies ofc xD)
