@everyone Hi guys, so it is time for a loverly progressio updato. First things first, Shaman's dialogue is all but completed. He won't have scenes but he WILL be a grumbly old man with a lot of lore for you to read, lore about the village, the jotnar, the tribe itself, and how much serpent genocide does it take for a big lizard to shatter a glass ceiling.
Mr Shaman's favorite pastime is, of course, sleeping while standing.

We're currently working on the animations for Miss Inani, the biggliest breastliest lady in the village.

We have also been looking at updating some animations for Mr Vanlen over time. As we're working on Inani we're thinking about going back and adding new scenes for older chars, or touching up existing ones. We've also been talking about alchemy and how we may want it to work in-game.

@everyone Hiya Folks, juicy progress report for you today. As said before, progress on the launcher update is almost done. We're likely going to release the Shaman's small update then the launcher. Compound has, as you may have seen, produced an awesome piece of artwork for the game. Couple of Federation Munitions Techs getting ready to load a missile (if you know what I mean)


The Shaman's Tent and area is mostly completed, barring the interior and some objects:

@everyone Hi all, would like to apologize the launcher has been delayed by a nagging problem that Ron has been hard at work fixing. As soon as that issue is fixed, it'll be ready for release. It shouldn't take very long at all. As for other progress, the animations for Inani have been further refined. They are quite tasty, I think. Perhaps even breasty. Kuja has been working on a Halloween Kay image, which you can see a tiny snippet of in patron teasers. It's simply demonic. We've been thinking about expanding either Cenvir, Eri, or Vanlen's content, as we also work on Keakrix. As I've said in the past, whilst work is done on the combat/launcher, we've been thinking about expanding scenes and quests for existing characters. Fleshing out the village more as the gameplay loop is worked on. Which would you be more interested in seeing first? If you have any requests or ideas of expanded character stuff, feel free to @ me. We're also thinking ahead and working on what we want to do with the world overview tutorial and how Heliopolis+her encampment at the freighter will fold out, fleshing out characters and areas.

@everyone Alrighty then. It is time for some interdasting news. Unfortunately, I will preface, Ron encountered issues with the launcher that will probably require another few days. We're also considering swapping to a different cloud service so that people outside of the US can achieve superior download speeds in excess of 1kb/year. But aside from that, a great deal of progress has been made. The combat model is here. Kay now has her combat model, and in my opinion it looks amazing.

It, like everything else Kuja has drawn, is fully segmented, partitioned, and capable of animations in everything from her little toes, to her bouncy bussom

In addition, we have concept art for one of the more threatening animals that Kay will eventually fight (possibly with Keakrix)

We've got new animations rolling around, Inani's animations are done, and we have also managed some neat generic animations for lizard day to day lifestyles, such as this berry picking animation:

Next on the docket: Working on a tool so writer creatures can add appropriate CG images to dialogue as previously planned, and finishing combat.

@everyone Terribly sorry for the looooong wait, but the new launcher is here! It should work far better than the old one. If you encounter some kind of bug because, I dunno, god hates you or something, please let us know and we'll fix it ASAP. Besides that, during our writers meetings we were talking about ideas for the village, things we could add to existing or older characters. One of the ideas we had considered which I think personally is a great idea, is having Kay be able to work for the Chieftain. What would her work be? Entertaining envoys from other tribes. Working as arm candy, or as an exotic 'deal sweetener', to loosen their tongues, among other things.

Edit:
The old launcher cannot update to the new launcher as it is completely remade. To get the newest version you must re-download

I recall some people having problems getting the newest version some time ago. I hope this advice helps.

New KOTOR got announced.
There will be a new KOTOR, the game this is based on supposedly, before there is a pre-pre-pre alpha of this game that doesn't explode if you look at it funny.
Hilarious.
