Yeah the translation thread was up until recently.
And the only thing in that thread was literally just a patch which obviously didnt contain any image and a bunch ofgame related talk.

I have no idea why the thread got deleted, but i really doubt it was for R7. The thread existed for literal years.
People were sharing links to the steam release in the thread. Since the game was already banned it was a sure fire way to get the translation thread nuked.

.....so if I'm understanding correctly, linking to the store page got the thread nuked? Because at least up till when I last saw it up, there was no link to any filesharing site with the steam version.

Obviously I might've missed one if it was posted between me last looking at the thread and it getting nuked a few hours afterwards, but even then I still find it dumb.

No, linking to the store page doesn't matter. Distributing banned content to other users is. that is what got the thread banned. users breaking the rules and sharing copies of the game. I personally saw users sharing the steam version. I did not report the thread but I know for a fact they were sharing links.

But then why didn't it get nuked with the game thread way back when? Pretty sure it had download links to the game SOMEWHERE in there.

Either way I just find it sad

As I understand it, (because I purchased it and know it's a fact) Steam gets away with it because the version they sell is neutered down, and has no "spice", while they have the Otaku Plans website that gives a free upgrade to include said spice. Now, since the Steam Version is spiceless, why on earth would a thread be banned for sharing it?

Simple, games without "the spice" are not allowed on the site. That particular game with "the spice" added in is not allowed because of rule 7. Last response im gonna give since these discussions are sorta off topic.

And yet theres a tag on this forum for non sexual content.

So saying " Simple, games without "the spice" are not allowed on the site." is incorrect.

But its true that rule 7 exists (sometimes for very very specific games).
Well the game can be found in other places, or bought anyway.

I don't make the rules, don't bust my balls about how F95 staff run the site. I just upload games. I am telling you why as I understand it. Don't shoot the messanger.

sheesh, i was so close in making to a game upload thread for the uncensored steam release on the same day of release.

that 2021 thread nuke kinda gave it away that the steam version is not allowed here for breaking the confusing rule 7 rule. like always> iv leaked version 2.04 on other sites like anime-sharing and Al********en, good luck finding it.

such a shame, its a really good game.

So we should expect, every disscussion thread of banned game will get nuked in a future, if the game will get released in steam or other major platform. Well it's a next level of bs, but well I am not making this rules so yeah anyway.

Crazy that steam is less prudish than a website meant for porn
its a work around,
it sold as a non-porn game. you have to go out of your way to get the patch.

not sure if this site can follow the same philosophy, posting it as a "no sex game" & users will have to go look for the patch themselves.

the steam forums had a couple of posts from moral crusaders throwing a hugh fit over its release,
so its probably best that F69 avoid dealing with these types.

Easy to say when it's not you taking the fall for it
What fall is there to take? Screechers? Twittards or redditors? Its not like its an illegal game, its also all fictional( as it should be).

And while I don't know where the mods live, or F95 servers are located, there's only a few places backwards enough law wise that fiction gets persecuted, so unless they are from one of those places, they have nothing to fear law wise.

Look, I'm just tired of the clear double standards that occur here from R7 games to other subjects, when all I want to do is play games and unfortunately there's only so many legal pathways to obtain said games( especially with how credit card holders/banks are lately)

I get the idea behind R7 its to protect and discourage from stepping into that slippery slope, but if the mainstream stores are allowing it I do not see why it makes sense to ban it on a site like this. One could say Steam made it so you had to patch it but they neither banned the discussions on how to patch it nor did they make it uncertain that it was an H-game. In the tags and in the reviews it clearly mentions the sexual content the game provides.

Literally the second review of Konoha is " in 60 minutes i left the main town was taken by bandits, uhohed several times, gave birth, sold of to some rich guy and give birth again. cant tell if this is a good thing but what the ♥♥♥♥ "

The tags include: hentai, sexual content, nudity, NSFW, and mature. I don't see how this could have possibly made it past Steam's censors especially since they are generally pretty strict on their standards and this has for sure raised some flags internally.

It sucks that Black Panda games will never be allowed to be on this platform along with Ressentiment because of R7 when the game explicitly states they are of age, but that's the price we have to make to protect children.
