Oh wait it really is there, so let me get this straight... basically, it was working the whole time and I spent hours trying to figure out what was broken when nothing was broken? great, just wanted to make sure...

Anyway thanks Kenny.
I'm pretty sure at some point that the game used to specifically mentioned it, but maybe that was too obvious for the dev's plans.

For modding, you need to add an empty .ini file named GameMods.ini to the game root.

It takes a long fucking time to figure out that the Nyx launcher (for running mods) is NOT smart enough to create this file itself.
I will compile an updated main game archive complete with updated translations in a bit.

Main game archive? What do you mean?

I’m thinking of adding all the mods to mirahaze, with mod version or date mod was updated, and a link for getting the mod from where it is.

big list though. Korean, Russian, and any random mod floating around this thread. Also, if anyone knows who made mods_1 and mods_2 lmk. I’m sure it would help Mirahaze to be a very helpful resource.

The game root is where Game.exe is. Technically speaking, the game should create GameMods.ini for you when you boot the game modless once.

The idea is that you launch the game to do the first time setup before even thinking about adding mods. During this initial launch both GameLona.ini and GameMods.ini are created (not even UMM checks to see if either files are created before trying to do it's thing, which results in UMM having text issues due to the language not being set yet. A better check for UMM to prevent the error is to check the state of the $lang variable)

Also, keep in mind that Nyx has not had any code changes since Oct 14th, 2022 [when the "Run with Console" option was added] ( )

So the miraheze mod section is now filled with more content, graphics alterations, game modifications of many sorts, all of which are astoundingly formatted for all your eyeballs to gaze on.
Everymod from the VK mod thread has been added. One or two may have been missed.
If anyone else wants to continue migrating the information from the tilda.ws lonarpg site, please do so.
(no naughty pics please & ty)
The Mirahaze is openly editable with an free account.
tilda requires creating a submission on a discord. Mirahaze is just easier!

I am having trouble integrating the latest roleplay-s mod into the game.
also a quick 2 questions about desu mod.
1) Do you remove the # from both the “description” and “bitmap” line of an option, or just one to disable an option?
2) trying to use the “modded desu mod” files from tilde or vk…to change hair and eye colors. I put the act files in desu mod /other pals. Just the act. Not the jpeg for each. Won’t activate.
Also have Lona booba mod. any jsons in LBM palette changer do enable.

gspot removal but linked glands. Wth. Linked glands is pointless then? Neither reduce dmg. Any point to having both?

edit - After testing it seems the description line needs to be disabled, while the bitmap line should be enabled.
resorted to using the act file from a 5 vibrant hair colour mod. I moved the aqua .json from inactive to active jsons, Placed the vibrant color .act in palette changer/cyan pals, made a copy of aqua, and renamed the vibrant hair .act to the aqua hair .act name.
game thinks it should use aqua hair pallete, and Aqua json uses aqua.act. The aqua .act is replaced with the Color I want. game thinks its using aqua, while aqua is a different pallete. No stylist needed. It’s just overlaying. works good. some active scenes dont change the color though. kinda want those to also have the palletes color.

I have installed the latest big booba mod and umm as well, in the game it shows two mods are loaded, both are shown in the mods menu but lona still does not have big booba but tiny booba. Is there any possible reason?

Play the game and earn the coin to buy it at Elise. It’s a functional mod, not a cosmetic one (unless you used a cosmetic version)

A question of opinion, what do you think is the most broken build in the game? Is it okay to have two builds because surely one will always be with abomination.

I downloaded the new mod latest version, and this is what happened
For a start, you have mixed old amongst new.
There was a major refactor when the Plugin Framework was integrated into the mod. none of the modules use the old filename load order system anymore.

Try a fullclean install of the mod (only download from the v1.0rc8 release [AIO file recommended])

I'm using that

Clearly not, because the Abomination Skills module is no longer named 10_CheatModule_AbomSkills.rb

Did you maybe install it over the top of an older version of the mod? Because that's problematic.

The mod should always be clean installed.

The ONLY file that is safe to be left inplace while updating is loadorder.json

For survivability, its abomination hands down. However the merfolk/deepon path or (smelly human) is also really good for straight up cheesing fights. You can just keep summoning others to fight for you endlessly. Moot is for the racial discrimination gameplay lol.

At the end of the day, any build can be Op with the power of cheats, but yet again, whats the point if all your stats are 99, I mean you still can't one shot bosses but it makes the game too easy.

My personal build is a water mage with fire book. Deepon race. Always fun.

OK, when I ran the game no GameMods.ini file was made. I had to figure it out myself that it had to be created.
