I think I've seen you in this thread since quite a long time ago, were you always struggling since then? What race of Lona are you playing? What level is your Lona? What's your trait build?

My personal general tip would be to play Lona as a mixed race (Moot+Abomination). Compared to all other races, this one makes my run on almost every single build several times more fun and satisfying. Playing another race other than this makes me feel like Lona is suffering from disability.

As far as Mage build goes for early play, there's a way to pull it off. However you need to be meticulous and smart about the way you use those spells at low level, since they're not strong enough to be effectively used in chaotic battle, which you may not find fun to execute. Since you're looking for a 'fun' way to play mage, I advise you to follow my guide in my signature, rebirth into a mixed race (Moot+Abomination) and play a mixed build if you want to have a good time at low level (combining Physical, Magic and Succubus build, exception being Healer build since this build gets locked the moment you select any of the other builds). At low level, Magic will be mostly used for utility purpose (like Fire Book's stun, Tornado's mob control, Fire DoT injury infliction, etc) until you raise WIS high enough to get the advantage of its damage. Succubus build at low level with no Nymphomaniac personality will at least be able to effectively kill/stun some little mobs such as goblin, hobos, etc until you get Whore of Babylon and raise CON to at least 10 (20-22 is preferable and should be the stopping point, no more than this as having too much sex attacks will mean less way to stun the NPC, you want to stun/disable NPC instead of killing them outright). Since Physical doesn't need you to raise any point in COM to deal heavy damage, this will be your main source of damage at low level.

This is the endgame trait build I advise you to aim for with this mixed race/build:

And this is the sex level I advise you to stop at (any more than this will render many tricks difficult to execute. Ideally, your sex level should be at 69 for Oral, Vaginal/Anal):

If you follow this build, there's no need to raise COM, as Physical damage is already high enough at base (using the high quality weapons), which is further increased by Abomination race. There's no need to raise SCU, as the Moot race is stealthy enough on its own. There's no need to raise SUR, as the Abomination race allows Lona to survive travel just by consuming corpse (this allows her to travel with 0 Food stat as long as there's corpse to consume). All you need to raise are CON (10-22) and WIS (as high as possible, until you can reach overal 90-100 wis stat).

That said, even at level 15, if Lona is a mixed race, then you'll already have a very good time playing almost any build. I can make multiple video demonstrations of every single trick this Lona can do even at this low level if you want more details.

nice build ill try to use it, honestly i agree with you, moot + abomination is the best possible combination, you basically will always have stamina for everything. right now i am using a succubus build but with a little scu, survival and stamina, survival enough to make good traps and scu just to be able to hide and so that my items dont dissapear when they fall on the ground too fast, with the build i am using i have no problems even when my lona is gangbanged.

Going for a mixed build makes for some pretty interesting combos. For example, with Magic build you can build a wall of tentacles, the problem however is you can't pass through those tentacles and get to the other side if there's no opening. Physical build resolves this through the use of Katana, since Katana lets you phase through living entity, giving you access to safe area that most mobs won't be able to get to until they kill the tentacles blocking their passage.

The Succubus build mixed in helps heavily in collecting semen, causing infighting and stunning/disabling NPC with little risk to reduce your morality when it's done on neutral NPC.

I'm not sure what this is, probably an error from version incompatibility between the game and the mod? Roleplay-S is supposed to only work on a specific version of the game.

is your game at least v9.8.0.6? is this the latest RolePlay S (0.6.3.4)?
When using the Roleplay S mod, you have to start it on a New game
as it changes alot of skills/mechanics

Thank you for the suggestion. I have been in this thread before But I havent played much since that time. I played prolly more than a hundred hours overall though. Much of my dissatisfaction was from trying to play doom mode to spice it up and as a result of no saving, finding a lot of details that ruin the run and the experience. Most of what I played was succubus Lona, and being spotted in any story mission was kinda suicide, since doesnt really work in a battle and mostly works from stealth. I thought it would also be cool if you could actually juice multiple enemies at the same time, but I never figured it out to make it viable. Harder difficulties also mean that enemies attack you normally if they see you juice someone, regardless of weakness, so having tools to deal with situations like that would be cool.

Then I tried mage lona a couple of times, all doom mode. Big mistake. I was tired of playing story missions basically like no skills Lona, bombs, lantern, companions, so many times, I wanted to quickly start playing like a mage and utilizing spells. A few doom runs all ended because of that in the quest where you rescue the merchant's daughter.

I kept trying doom after so many hours in regular difficulty because I thought the no menu in battle restriction and no leaving in battle to be really cool but iron mode in a game that takes so long to do all missions in every place and farm the money for leaving seems way too hard to be enjoyable.

Is the RTP file in .zip format? Also, have you tried going into settings and install the RTP through Import Runtime Packages?

You can make a backup of your doom save so you won't lose entire hours of progress. Imho, while the menu restriction from DOOM mode is pretty neat, the whole auto-delete save can be pretty nasty since there's a chance you may accidentally lose that save (happened to me multiple times, hence why I do save backup).

That's the case at difficulties higher than HARD yeah, however, those NPCs won't attack Lona even if she juice someone at the highest difficulty IF Lona is weak/sexy enough to be rapable AND IF Lona doesn't end up killing the juiced NPC while spotted. This last condition is the biggest reason why I say having too high sex level can be detrimental, you want to stun/disable the NPCs instead of killing them so you could avoid getting attacked en masse or losing morality when it's done on neutral NPCs. In case you have too much sex attack, you can weave in some Handjob skill for lower sex damage. This Handjob skill also serves as a way to control and stun a group of mobs that try to rape Lona, like here:

Try to follow what I suggested and go for a mixed race/build. You'll see how major of a difference this makes in term of ease of play.

Each use of Abomination's racial skills will reduce Lona's morality, temporarily. Lona's morality will go back to normal after a certain time has passed, or after switching to another zone through a prompted option, or after walking a certain distance (walking/running is the fastest way to reset the morality if you don't switch zone). You'll need to be sneaky when using those Abomination skills. When it comes to being sneaky, Moot race is the expert, which makes mixed race (Moot+Abomination) even more ideal.

Lol, once you know the true nature of Justice (and his other colleagues), Lona being livestreamed isn't all that farfetched.

I want to do a rebirth into a Abomination Lona, as I'm liking the vampire/ghoul aesthetic it gives, and I want to swap to a melee playstyle as magic has proven to be more annoying to use than fun. Any tips on the best way to get Lona pregnant with an abomination baby without getting trapped in the abomination loop at the end of the world/flesh pit lair, please?

As someone who picked up the game recently and couldn't put it down I wanted to share some info that I found hard to find anywhere, or that was scattered all over. ZedTed's guide was last updated in 2021 for much older versions of the game. Sikisk added some addendums in 2023, but still a bit old. I wish some of the crazy detailed video guides posted here, like by RLJFZ, would be easier to locate since this thread has a thousand pages to it.

The "official" [wiki](https://lonarpg.miraheze.org/wiki/LonaRPG_Wiki) seems to be incomplete and out of date. I heard they had to migrate it from elsewhere, and that created a problem. It is being actively updated, and maybe I'll see if I can register to contribute.

In particular I wanted to talk about unadvertised features, special equipment, fast experience / levels / money / gold.

Some of the guide I made is linked in my signature, but yeah several other tricks I posted are lost in the thousands of page. I already thought about making another thread dedicated to LonaRPG's tricks and mechanics and have that thread linked in OP, but that will be in the far future as I'm currently busy with other things.

While the Abomination slavery is possible to escape, I found it incredibly challenging

Abomination lairs are not created equal, the one East of Doom Fortress is relatively easy to escape, because the tunnels will only have worms (that can be punched to death and drop meat) and spiders (that stay passive in their web unless you walk directly into them).
The only tricky part is the main chamber, but the placement of eggs and floaters resets every half-day, so you just gotta wait for favorable composition - seeing clear path that never gets within one tile of an egg or within two tiles of lair heart, and no floater nearby, because Lona will be bruised all over + parasited + knocked up and walking very slow even when "running".
Also, the amount of stamina Lona needs to put into struggling against restraints to break free can be added up over the course of several days, so she can do most of the work in advance and then only spend 10 stamina when circumstances align for making her attempt so she will start getting out with decent stamina reserve.
As a bonus, since Lona loses all items in captivity, you can do Doom Fortress repeatable quest before getting captured, and go collect it after escaping, the money pays for trip back to Noer and seeing Elise to get patched up. Still gotta need some SCU or WIS to enter Doom Fortress without papers.

Mind you, last time I've actually done this was back on 0.8.something but hopefully everything still works the same on latest version.
