itch has a game updater, though for this game specifically I don't recommend using that.

Manual updates are more reliable in this instance; particularly when a fresh install is required.

It's a very biased platform, like F95 mod team. There's no helping it, if one want all their games to be in one places for easy meals then they have to live with missing out on stuffs not automatically spoon fed to them by the the "corrupted" system.

i think? i dont remember, its the cavern on the sewers, you dont need the quest, if you show up there theyre gonna be waiting every time, rescue ten of them and you will have the money for sabre and dagger and the xp for high quality equipment to equip them, loot the clothes off the floor until you have all three that boost scout, if you go there and theres an archer or a shield guy or no one, just loot the meat, exit to the forest, sleep, save and enter again

I tried to move my saves from 0.7.9.1 version to this new one, but game crashes

Buy a sickle, masturbate half a day, Lona should be over level 10 after that. Invest 10 points into SUR and spend a week or two inside a rain forest tile to hunt, gather and make long lasting foods. One trip can easily net you foods for months, depending on how long Lona stay there and how much Lona can carry.

Be careful of wild boars however, stay over 25 weak if you don't want Lona to agro them, there's always one type of boar that is always agressive no matter Lona's weakness, see one ? run.

The method being suggested there is for when you are grinding rescues at the beginning of the game. It's an efficient method for dealing with stamina early game, though you're also going to be accelerating World Difficulty by passing time like this. How much that matters is up for debate, since bad map encounters seem to be plentiful even at single-digits.

As mentioned by Yukihirou, the rain forest is the best place for food; if you know the map decently you can usually plan around visiting rainforests on your way around while burning through food stocks faster with Rest for more immediate STA recovery. Mountains are also worth visiting as (my experience) they tend to spawn "vegetables" with a decent frequency and can also spawn boars as well as dragon roots (in many cases are just as good as red potions).

I will say, though, if you're not playing on Hell+ difficulty (food expires) and/or aren't planning on using traps with any significant frequency, 10 SUR is arguably overkill since Good Soup has the best Food benefit (+32), and Meat Soup is decent enough (25% less weight than meat, won't make you vomit if you eat a ton of it) that I'd say the ability to make Smoked Meat in itself isn't quite worth the level investment. The story changes a bit on Hell+ (or if you like crafting explosives), though.

Finally, carrying around a couple blue potions is a must if you don't plan on save scumming every time shit goes sideways.

Actually, while Rain Forest tiles are best food and exp farm for newbies. I do wholly believe that mountain tiles are the absolute best place to be/live on Noer island. Not only do you not have to worry about wounds (Dragon's roots) or foods but Lona technically can never die on this map unless you're a very bad player. Ambush does not work since the map layouts let Lona escape easily, there's plenty of choke points where Lona can solo clear, AI pathing prevents them from crossing over to Lona from another hill...etc. Lona can easily get the survivor achievement on Doom mode just chilling up there for a few years in-game.

You can play infinitely, if you worry about world danger going up, there's a random event that if you trigger you can pay money to lower it. Just play blind your first time, don't need to listen to others or refer to a guide.

For anyone struggling, there's multiple exploits you can take advantage of in this game. Some examples involve manipulating Lona's Weak stat, like:
- Infinite item farming without passing a single day through begging. You can do this as soon as you get out of the sewer tutorial. Have Lona's Weak stat gets to around 50+ (strip her naked, select the Exhibitionist trait if you don't want her mood to decrease while naked, wear some items that will increase Lona's Weak stat like black piercing you can buy from a fat fishman inside the bandit's base right beside the sewer entrance on the map), beg any pedestrians that go in and out of an area, and that's it. The success rate can vary. Even if you fail to beg, reload and beg again until you pass it. Successful begging will temporarily increase Lona's Weak/Sexy stat, this means that there's a chance someone might come to rape Lona in certain areas like inside Big Mama's tavern where the customers over there will want to rape Lona when she reaches more than 60 Sexy and 110 Weak. For soldiers, reaching more than 100 Sexy and 200 Weak will make them want to rape Lona. For neutral fishkind, reaching more than 220 Weak will make them want to rape Lona). Normally you can only beg 1 time per NPC, the only reason you can beg the same NPC over and over while staying in the same zone is due to that NPC resetting itself upon exiting and then re-entering the area. If your stamina is about to run out, just eat whatever food was given to you, take some rest and continue begging, you'll get more items than you lose stamina. Bring a horse with you if you want to farm beg for massive amount of items.

-Manipulate hostile NPCs into raping Lona and make them fight each other. You can do this as soon as you encounter those goblins inside the sewer tutorial. Just strip Lona's clothes until she has around 40+ Weak stat. You can bait those goblins into attacking each other through their assaulting animation.

For other hostile mobs such as bandits, they require Lona to have around 50+ Weak stat for them to want to rape her. Unlike the goblins, those hostile NPCs usually won't attack back the one who's attacking them since they belong in the same group and are too focused on trying to rape Lona to mind. For them to attack back, Lona either needs to attack the rapist in order for that rapist to respond to whatever another NPC of the same group is doing to that rapist, or that other attack that goes the rapist's way comes from a grab animation, a blunt weapon or an arrow. There's some exceptions like the shield bandits who will attack back anyone that harms them, even if they're in the middle of wanting to rape Lona.

but when i did, i now see this picture.

Maybe its just an issue with Fish Camps?

I added that rb file to the scripts folder,
then, i went into the file PB_FishcampA_BIOS_Begin.rb
then i found the line 16, and commented it out. Saved the file and tried again. and so far the game is working. I could go to that map that had the error. will test on the fish raft, and a few other locations

Yeah. That hit-stun attack is intended to make raping Lona easier and not have her move around. This stun can get pretty annoying honestly, since it can be from any hit.

This technique is still pretty viable even on Doom mode, especially if your Lona has juicing and a certain amount of sex level, preferrably one where the NPCs can be mass stunned and not outright killed. And tbh, there's quite a lot of RNG that can fuck Lona up in Doom mode, like for example getting surrounded by hostile bandits in the city.

True, it's RNG but that does not mean there's not a way to go around it. Immediately crouching when the map loads while surrounded will let bandits focus on Non-Evil companions, that's cue for newb Lona on Doom mode to dash to the border. Further excursion once Lona level up she can bring smoke bombs or water book...

Though I don't think one should go into Doom mode with just about any build (let alone a level 1 Lona), I think either your default personality Abomination Lona build or that mixed with 20 SCU (sacrifice WIS since Wis only serve 2 functions : to help Lona kill faster and make her summon tougher) is the best to help Lona survive Doom mode.
