I think i explained wrong its not gonna wipe your save with every update, normally you can use rebirth to update your save but sometimes dev makes big changes and that could ruin your save (like he did on 0.9.9.0 update)
Yes, I know that all my saves will stay, I meant that all my saves won't work on new version. I'm almost novice in game and a lot of things from my game it's luck and I think I can't repeat it.

Not each version, only during very major data changes
As I rememebr, something same was on 0.7.... version or 0.6...

Then that was about 2 years ago which is a long gap. I think I first played the game on 0.8. I'm kinda cringing at some of my old first comments about this game, like saying how bad Succubus build is since I didn't really know better at that time lol.

It is. Though the profit gain heavily depends on the place, the NPCs and the prostitution looping. The most profitable and safest place is Rudesind, the noble district inside Noer. If you wish to gain a good amount of sex exp, level exp and money all at the same time with very very minor chance of getting injuries then Rudesind prostitution is the way. On top of that, the prostitution option is always available for the nobles there. Lona needs a high amount of Sexy stat but that can easily be reached by doing something provocative like bathing and such near some of those NPCs who are in the middle of fucking.

To get to that noble district, you either need a Rudesind Visa (sold at 10k TP at the bandit camp inside Noer) or bluff your way through (Bluff is unlocked at 10 Wisdom trait points) or get an invitation letter from Milo (Main quest involving Cecily). For a better looping prostitution, I reccomend buying the Gland Removal MOD from Elise inside Noer's clinic to prevent Lona from reaching climax since it spends lots of stamina.

All of these cost a certain amount of money which is hard for beginners to gain since they lack the knowledge of what place to go first to earn the most of it. There's an easy early way to gain 2-3+ Gold coins on top of getting to level 15+ as soon as you leave the tutorial sewers (excluding Loan from the bandit), and it's by doing the Woodson family's, Fortune Teller's and Adam's quest at Doom Fortress which can all be relatively easily done at low level. Instead of detailing the process through words, I'll post a series of videos later regarding this.
Prostitution is very good even with civilians and especially sailors(very good money and low sexy requirement). You only need some piercings or the boob job if you have the mod or just masturbation, but I havent tried that. You can do this from almost day one.

I wonder if Eccma is going to patch out the 1 Gold coin drop from that Mage vendor in Noer market just like how he tuned the old War Boss to not be easily killed by Mage Lona in less than 10s lol.
(This is what a endgame 100 WIS stat Mage Lona used to be able to do to War Boss right at the beginning of the combat)

I mean, no one would get 100 wis playing the game normally. At end game you max out 40 or 50 your chosen trait before you've completed all missions and finished farming money. And with how the game works, 50 is a lot less damage than half of 100.

Prostitution is good in general if you know where to look and how to loop it. The most lucrative and injury-free being with the nobles inside Noer. You can also do this right on day one the moment you get out of the sewers. Just go to the bandit camp, sell Lona's ID paper for 1 Gold coin, buy both fake ID paper and the Rudesind Visa and voila, you're ready to go inside the noble's palace and do prostitution there. But hey, this game is flexible and deep enough so any other effective methods is good. Just do what you're currently comfortable with.

Yeah, normal play won't get you to this Lona level, however I'm specifically refering to endgame Lona at level 99 where only Mage Lona is able to kill War Boss, or all bosses the fastest at sonic time. Just wanted to show how OP this build is despite being weak initially.

Bloody hell. And there I was, with my warrior Lona, "enjoying" authentic Asylum Demon experience (getting crushed by his fat ass).

How much of this game is translated/wheres the latest patch for that? Looks like big booba still works but most other mods are very out of date

Is doggy unlimited time ? It left after treasure hunter had left team, I did Cecily rescue quest without them and now I have to use a meat soup if I want to hire again.

Yup, seems to be based on it's duration being listed as "none."

Do the Big Booba Mods work for the newest version?
It's prone to errors 'n crashes and costs 20k, but technically works.

Do I understand correctly that completing every single quest in the game doesn't give you enough money to buy a ride on the ship (if you side with Cecily that is)? I've almost finished all the quests in the game (minus some misc ones that only give you morality), and I'm nowhere near having 20 gold coins. In fact, I need way more now because the price always rises and theoretically caps at 30 gold coins with a world danger level of 100. And yeah, siding with Cecily was the biggest mistake. Not only is it unprofitable as fuck, but she's also retarded. I thought she knew what she was doing. She didn't. If I were to betray her, I'd already have enough money to leave the island. But I digress

I know there's an effective grinding method involving smoking meat, but it requires unfathomable 10 SUR (seriously? ten fucking points just for smoking meat?). Since I'm level 49, even completing several big quests in a row won't give me a single level. And like I said, I've almost finished all the available non-repeatable quests anyway

Did I softlock myself? Theoretically, I'd need to complete small, repeatable quests a couple thousand times just to level up my SUR to smoke meat (and I don't see any other grinding methods that are worth it). At that point, the ship ticket price will be 30 gold coins, and the world danger level will be 100, which will be annoying and unbearable

How are you supposed to finish the game without insane grinding, which you'd have to plan in advance and level the character accordingly? (which is obviously not possible for a first walkthrough and is just plain boring. I want to play the game, not cheese the shit out of it)

I assume that becoming a gladiator isn't profitable either. Is it?

I see you're at the point where you completed almost everything and now need to leave the island via the ship, but this one will require a hefty amount of money which is between 20-30 Gold coins. Yup, completing all quests (if you didn't side with Milo) doesn't net you enough money for the ship. You didn't softlock yourself no worries. You just need to 'grind' content.

For money, there's multiple ways. My own preferred method is farming Mutated Mushroom inside a dead forest (second paragraph. That's where most of my 200+ Gold coins came from), it doesn't require any stat (WIS just increases the selling price) and is easy to do. Just make sure to bring a horse. Also try to do it only during daytime since nighttime there is hella dark. (You can also grind Gold coins from the Mage vendor if pushes come to shove lol)

For endgame leveling, it's either saving prisoners, prostitution or rape loop. I took the first method, saving prisoners, and the place I found the easiest to save them is this (make sure the world difficulty doesn't exceed a certain number, like 30+ iirc):

For fast multiple rebirths, I got my own speedrun tech I do right at the beginning of a New Game (doesn't need to be high level, but it does help in completing the speedrun faster, just make sure the difficulty is set to 'HARD' not higher).

For first gameplay if u didnt side with Cecily its rebirth without completing game or grind until get bored :/ . for second gameplay i think we have to grind smoke meat and (if u want to deal with abominations too) mutated mushroom at some point. On my first gameplay i barely touched wisdom and survival and its not even worth try to grind just die and rebirth(I was level 51).

Compared to darkest dungeon how rougelike is this? I can do torchless runs in DD and even demolish the base game with only crimson court giving me the occasional forced retreat so compared to DD, how worst or forgiving are the rng and the mechanics in this game?

LonaRPG is a sandbox game (not really roguelike), it's akin to games like Skyrim, Fallout, GTA and such. It's definitely far far more forgiving with far far less RNG in comparison to DD. I haven't played much of DD since I'm not that into games that are very RNG-heavy. This game is more knowledge check than stat or RNG check, it's only unforgiving for people who don't know much about the game's content and its mechanics (aka beginners. Veteran can complete all content even with a level 1 Lona), so they gotta have to experiment to see how things work which is exactly what's fun about this game (and what's nasty for people who don't want to think too much) since its mechanics is extremely deep, but simple (I still discover new stuff and techs even after hitting more than 200 hours).

If you love challenge, if you love to experiment, if you're a gamer who love to use his head, if you're here for the RPG element before the sex, if you don't mind suffering from the lack of info as a beginner, if you love making NPCs fight among themselves (my favorite thing in this game) then I invite you to play LonaRPG. I recommend to go in blind and see for yourself first.
