But I guess my main issue is with the idea that someone asked for representation in fucking LonaRPG lol, that definitely sounds like bullshit since this game wouldn't attract that kind of player
Like, really, you can start with the point of what "representation" was asked for to begin with? Fact that it's not said outright what was asked for that made EcmmA retaliate already makes it sound like bullshit made up by someone wanting to spread rumors for drama
So not only we don't really have a real reason for retaliation, there's also the fact that the so called retaliaton is simply not using the npc for anything, the more you think about it the more it sounds like bullshit lol

Oh I'm not taking your words, this is the kind of rumor you hear from someone who heard it from someone else, or they just lied lol, I honestly doubt it went as you heard
Really, I feel it would be more likely that the npc was purposely poking fun at someone from the beginning rather than EcmmA putting it as retaliaton, cause really, the npc simply being there and being useless doesn't make sense as retaliaton

Yeah this is normal, it can either happen very quickly or it can take weeks or a month until someone uploads.It's been 5 days and no one has posted the update yet

I assume most people don't really look at changelogs, especially when what you posted isn't even in F95 changelogs
Either way what you posted just raises further questions lol
What previous poster said is that the character was made in retaliaton because someone asked for representation, but what you posted mentions a raid, which implies something else altogether happened
So unless has some reliable intel on what actually happened then we're still just guessing on what really happened
Also as I said before, LonaRPG absolutely isn't the kind of game played by people who asks for representation, which makes me wonder if that was really the case or if it wasn't someone doing it for trolling, I say that cause I see similar situations on Steam, with some idiot making obvious bait thread asking for representation just to farm awards
Now I kinda wish someone could ask directly to EcmmA lol

That's quite a list, so I would imagine whatever raid might have happened must have been from haters
After all he hate so many people it would be easy for anyone of those groups to go bother him if he said or did anything to make them butthurt

There's changelog in the game folder (readmeUpdateLog) that has the whole history of updates.
I think there was more context to inclusion of the particular character discussed somewhere in itch.io updates, but that's now purged, so I can't verify. Part of it is mirrored on dev's pixiv, which is then mirrored on kemono.cr but I don't see anything conclusive there either.
The dev is loose enough with the English language you can read "raid" as pester/harras about.
Whether that was originally a request made and pushed in earnest or some sort of reverse psychology troll is anyone's guess. We've reached the level of internet where anything can be on indeterminable layers of irony and/or false flag, so there's always room for skepticism.
But hey, people have asked for inclusion in good faith before, that's how we got the sprites for Blade Dancer NPC, but eccma took too long and the person making the request changed his mind so it's left unfinished.
If we could ask Eccma directly, which we kind of can, making account on itch costs nothing and I don't think the forum verifies who puchased the game or not, I wouldn't want to waste that question of what's fundamentally throw away NPC with little significance. I'd rather learn more about Cecily and Elise. Or Maani (my pet theory is there could be a way of turning her against Milo).
You can play the game now (0.9.9.1), or wait for 0.10.0.2 which should be pirated in matter of days. The difference will be small bugfixes and cooking code cleanup. Interesting someone actually asked for representation before, shame the person gave up on Blade Dancer though since the sprite do looks nice, wonder if he would still use it for something if asked
And you're right, if it's to make questions we have more important things to ask about at this point

What is the last quest for Cecily?
I just went back to the Burning Keg and she's outside hitting a training dummy. But when I talk to her she just says "Now's not the time." and there's no quest that follows? Is that the current end of her questline?
I just want to double check and make sure I didn't mess something up or that I need a specific stat to proceed.
