Been a while, it's dope how steadfast you are in doing this, I know it's hell looking into all the codes, more often than not to make one small change you have to edit not one, but three instances of lines of code on separate files in different folders. It's hell man...
Oh also, She has bigger ball than most of us here

With the new updates, are there any interesting builds? iirc the "classes" you can have are:
Melee (Blunt, Blade and High Quality weapons)
Long Melee (Long weapons such as Spears and Halberds)
Stamina Melee (Restraint weapons such as Whips and Restraint Poles)
Ranged (Bow, Musket and Throwables)
Mage (Fire, Nerfed Shock, and Nerfed Water)
Succubus (Sex + Sneaking + Sexy Outfits and Bodymods)
Stealth Only (High QualityBackstabbing + Traps)
Traps Only (overemcumbered with mines, bombs and molotovs)
Healer (Friendly NPCs + That One Saint Trait)
Deep One Succubus (Rebirth w/ Fishkind Baby, morph into nymph with wet and sloppy attacks)
Demon (Rebirth w/ Abomination Baby, needs human flesh to stay alive but can create tentacles)
Omori from Yume Nikki by Toby Fox (skip enemies and just walk)
outside of fist fighting probably not

Omori from Yume Nikki by Toby Fox (skip enemies and just walk)
My custom build (just for fun):
Pyromaniac Lona (burn her ways into Sybaris): no upgrade, no perks. All Items and equipments allowed, usually just starting lantern, club, and lot of molotovs. Stun first if possible, then one molotov followed by 5 stacks of lantern fire, not many can survive this, even those huge abominations guarding the center of the nest won't survive. Molotov has the continous burn, combined with your lantern fire it's very effective stunlock, heck 2 molotovs sweeten the deal even more. Even shield dudes will kneel and burn in hell for their sin of tankiness
Pro: no hassle from the beginning to the end, just restock on molotovs and keep moving forward, can ignore just about anything, bring a lot of foods and have fun watching the world burn.
Tip: Pickaxe (one handed simple weapon, very handy) inflict slow, if you are fast with your fingers, slow -> burn. That in case you can't stun
Cons: well, water tiles... So stay away from those or lure enemies into dry area.

Okay, I can't remember how or where I found it, but someone awhile back made a file edit that made the church guy (that currently gives morality) effect world difficulty, anyone know of it? I would love to get hold of the original file and update it to work with the latest version.

*edit* found the file I need to edit, just... dont know the coding, so am now trying to find the file that contains the random preacher event so I can see the code used to reduce world difficulty

*Edit2* found the file, and the code, transplanted it over.
so for the cost of 1000 TP, you can reduce the world difficulty by 1, no limit, so if you want to reduce the world difficulty by 24, trade 24000 TP (also, free morality too :p)
Here's the file, which goes in Data/HCGframes/event folder (backup the original for safekeeping), for those that dont want to hunt the preacher event, enjoy (and if someone wants to make this a proper modscript, please do)

if anyone knows how I can change this message, let me know :

...
Witcher - Default personality Lona combining Quality Weapons + some magic.
Spin-to-Win - Tough Lona, with decent CON and geared for Defense, rush berserker tomb for the sword with spin attack (preferably as Abomination to recover stamina and HP faster)
Friendly Fire - Mage with SUR >= WIS to minimize self-damage, irresponsible with AoE spells
Rapebait - Tough Lona with high Weak and Sexy (nudity, cheap piercings, drunk) luring enemies into molest mode with false sense of vulnerability - also benefits from high Speed because Tough + Exhibitionism
Deep One Summoner - using Sea Witch bodyguards, supported by Acolyte and other Sea Witch powers
Abomination Summoner - Abom Mage looping totem summons with desecrate summons for tentacle army
also it should be possible to do "level 1 run", without spending any trait points at all, with just lantern, musket, landmines and other consummables

Does the latest version work on JOI play or Winlator for Android? Looking to play this on an Odin 2 pro.

I tried repeatedly, but I don't think I can bring myself to play this game any more. I like the game for its mechanics and unique art style, but this games world seems purposefully crafted to maximize misery. What is the point of interacting with a story where the only employed narrative transition is: "And then it got worse"? Do the players actions start having tangible consequences at some point? Played till after the border defense, but couldn't motivate myself to continue.

how tf do I escape deepone slavery? I did the four pics, and it showed what looks like a whirlpool, but I can't find where that is. Anyone able to help? First time playing and I've been either a fish person or deepone slave the whole time lol. Escaped one to just end up with the other

Thanks! Helps alot. Fuck that place lol
That's just the tip of the iceberg if you already have a slave crest. You won't be able to take the ship back. You'll need to build a raft using one of the northern sites on the island. You'll need to stock up on a little bit of food because the raft will get you somewhere on the south eastern coast of the main island, at which point you need to walk back. You do not want to be starving in the event that you encounter goblins or bandits.

That's the point, at one point you will figure it all out, that you're the misery and you're here to help Lona dicking out ton of misery on the whole island. "Two can play at that game", get back in and deliver the judgement.

The theme of misery and suffering is systemic, and it is not for you and your Lona to change. The island cannot be saved. However, you can influence local tragedies, rescue a few people and, more importantly, save yourself. This is a personal story. Destination: protect your Lona. The game tells you directly to leave the island. When you do, you will have saved at least one life, Lona's, in a sea of suffering.
You are not the hero of the island. You are the hero of Lona. Go and try to protect her smile.

There is also a question of - is the Island worthy of being saved? How many decent people are there?

One of the kindest people to Lona is some random mercenary (Adam) who gives her a rifle, which she just stole a bunch for him, after he sees her being sad since he initially wanted to rip off her from promised quest reward.

After that there are only companions Cocona, Cecily and Grey rat. There is also that new quest giving mercenary leader near Sybaris who has good character and that merchant in Noer marketplace. Maybe you can argue about Big Mama after you gain Cocona.

Anyone else though? Citizens of Noer, Sybaris refugees and anything in-between. If you play the game and do quests / see how they treat Lona, others etc. There honestly is not much worth saving.
