I'm just started, but the balance between stamina usage and stamina restore from the food is awful. You need 1 meat soup just to move from one location IN THE TOWN to another. This alone is close to disqualify that product as a playable game and rate it 1/10.

What are you tips for dealing with stamina? Is there any easier way to gain food? I was lucky and killed 2 boars at day 1 (2?). So I get 20 meat = 10 meat soups which was enough just to come back to town. I'm starving.

I heard about different races e.t.c but I wanna play as normal (and if I can not prostitute) human in my first playthrough. Just this stamina/rest mechanics is awful.

1) Hire follower, so you lose less stamina in combat.
2) lvl up surv, so you can cook smoked meat
3) pick cannibal perk
4) Resting at the inn restores food

Combining 1 and 4, you can hire cowboy from the inn, pick quest for undead extermination, and he will solo whole graveyard. Reward is enough to rest ~ 3 days at the inn

Also, if you are traveling and run out of food, you can enter nearby location, and hunt/forage there

Thanks. Will try it.

Any tips from where I can get easy food items or money to stay in the inn (it is also too expensive). Dancing/waitress job don't even gives you enough to stay 1 night here.

If you need a meat soup just to move to another location in town you must be doing something wacky. Are you drunk? Can you recite the alphabet backwards?

Any tips from where I can get easy food items
1. Put points into survival
2. Acquire sickle
3. Go innawoods and grab all the free food
4. Avoid boars, but if two of them meet and start killing each other wait for one of them to die, grab the meat and then kill the other one.

When you walk around the world map, move until you have a little less than 10 stamina and just press Cntrl until the change of time of day (save stamina for random events, and during events, just get closer and run to the edge of the location, because actions during a random event eat up stamina) to restore stamina and continue walking, this way you can do a couple of quests and reach other cities without food, just if your satiety is at 0, then when the time of day changes, it will take 20 HP and give ~ 50 stamina, and then you go along the roads to the nearest city with a bar, buy 1 key and sleep, restoring everything to the maximum

Just to go to cemetery from the inn to do first quest consume 30+ stamina (every move cost 3). And 1 soup regenerate how much? 20?

So what are you talking about?

Thanks. But doing ithave any negative consequences? Isn't difficulty rising by time passed?

Don't use rest on the world map, just skip the time with Cntrl to wait until the change of time

It doesn't happen that quickly
The world's difficulty only increases the percentage of dangerous events and the price of a ship ticket, but that's all I remember.
Completing all the one-time/storyline quests across the map will reward you with enough money to buy a ship ticket (even with the increased price, but if you save more money (or if you choose a special side, then you will be rewarded with a very large sum))

I'm ngl, I usually recommend a slut run for noobies just so they can get used to the mechanics. But if you fr wanna do a normal run like a regular rpg-

I recommend doing the quests that are near you as others stated. The cemetery and getting dragon weeds are both pretty easy. I wouldn't worry about doing the waitress/dancer job.

The woods right outside of town can get you wood/food. Don't forget to keep everything you find to sell. Survival skill will be your best friend as others said.

You'll want to eventually get an idea of what kind of weapons you wanna use. You can do magic or melee. Spec your points into whatever you plan on using.

Don't neglect constitution. I know it's mostly for a slut run, but keeping such small stamina will hurt you in the long run.

The world difficulty does go up, but you can donate to priests during world encounters to lower it.

Keep companions with you. Cecily and gray rat are the two best in the entire game. You'll be able to recruit them for free after doing their quest. The quest becomes available after the missing caravan is completed.

Don't neglect sneak. Lona will never be strong enough to face tank everything, having 5 points in sneak will allow some missions to become a breeze. You can go further into this if you wanna do a sneak/backstab build. It's pretty strong because of the free stun.

Idk how serious you wanna take this game, but the best farming method is probably hiring a horse for 14 days then grind orkind nests and saving hostages. You can get loot+meat from doing nests. Over and over. But I would wait until you have a decent shot at doing damage. Also try doing this while the world difficulty is low. I'd say 25 or under.
