I'm just started, but the balance between stamina usage and stamina restore from the food is awful. You need 1 meat soup just to move from one location IN THE TOWN to another. This alone is close to disqualify that product as a playable game and rate it 1/10.
The world is not safe, it's not simply moving from one place to another, it's moving, scouting, paying attention to danger and more...etc. This is reflected in the tiles you put Lona on: optimize your route by using paved road and street, these are often patrolled by Noer Guards and thus are safer and cost less energy. You move through the urban area to quickly get to your target area you gonna burn more stamina because it's more dangerous and mentally exhausing. Hint: You can hold shift to use even more stamina and get to a location faster, this is most optimal for experienced users.
Thanks. But doing ithave any negative consequences? Isn't difficulty rising by time passed?
Yeah, but it's not that immediate, never let world difficulty go pass 20 and you're pretty much in very easy mode from start to finish. There are a random event that let you lower this stat but it's random and only procs on certain type of tile (regugee camps, noer town...), just remember to bring enough money with you per chance you encounter this event and you're golden. It's roughly 1000 trade pts for 1 world danger IIRC

If you installed the mod properly (correct type [RC], correct folder, activated it in Mods) it should work as soon as you reload by clicking "Restart to apply" even on existing saves. That version just overrides existing images, similar to Big Belly - but it MUST be in LonaRPG\ModScripts\_Mods\Lona_Booba_Graphics because modFolder is hard-coded.

Honestly, this is pretty good. I may try to tweak the shading a little (seems inconsistent on some poses). I think chcg1_ was the best done. I'm in the middle of tweaking some of the code for Booba so give me a few days and I'll incorporate this and upload (I'm trying to fix the hard-coded mod folder - see above - among other things, but having mixed results).

I saw some code on the unpublished version of Cheat Mod... but it didn't seem to be working as intended (at least, not from what I could tell). I'll try and take a look at it again once I'm done with Booba and any tweaks I have to do to be compatible with RolePlay-S once it goes public.
Hi, sorry to bother. I'm trying to install the big booba mod and I feel like I'm missing something. I placed the booba_graphics folder I got from the 9.4.7.zip in this link but I'm still not seeing any changes in Lona's model. This is my file path:

LonaRPG.Beta.0.10.4.1\LonaRPG\ModScripts\_Mods\Lona_Booba_Graphics

My mod menu looks like this after restarting the game when it prompted me, but still no dice. 1766808319107.png

Am I doing anything obviously wrong? This is my first time giving this game a try so I've no experience with how the modding for this game has developed or the nuances behind it.

You need the body mod to see a visual change with that mod. Untitled.png I think you get it from Elise in the main city medical house. I just added it with cheat menu mod though.

Thanks. Will try it.

Any tips from where I can get easy food items or money to stay in the inn (it is also too expensive). Dancing/waitress job don't even gives you enough to stay 1 night here.
The main about Lonarpg is that 90% of the challenge is learning how to do...well, anything really. There's an obscene number of options that are just flat out not told, leaving the player to figure out. If you want some other money making and saving tips...

Certain tools reduce stamina usage for their corresponding actions. The sickle reduces stamina cost for gathering vegetables and herbs, the pickaxe reduces stamina costs for mining, and wooden clubs are functionally firewood for cooking. All of these can be utilized to make more money (gather a lot of veggies to save on food costs, mine crystals for payouts, cook high tier food to sell, etc). Also, there's a bank where you get baseline trade rates for coins. Every person in the setting is an asshole trying to rip you off so their barter rates for coins is rigged in their favor, but the bank has flat rates for the baseline value of coins so only sell to the bank to maximize on coin profit. The bounty board has a lot of jobs, most of which can be cheesed for easy money such as getting the whip dude to clear the graveyard for you (he can also solo the mine, which you can then mine crystal for additional money), and once you reach a decent level with decent gear, you can gather up a party and fight combat quests like a traditional RPG with build options.

You can also, amusingly, power level via masturbating. Every action grants exp in varying amounts scaled to stamina costs (kills don't net you exp, but the action of fighting does for example), so you can stockpile a few inn keys and spam masturbate to go to lvl30+ in just a few minutes. So Lona shlicks her bean for massive gains to stab mofos with lol.

There are also a ton of other crazy mechanics that you have to delve deeper into the game to find. For example Lona can become a mermaid mutant that flings around water magic while summoning minions. How? Got to find out and explore.

I opened Lona once on Joiplay and was gonna play it and then it stopped working, i downloaded it multiple times and it keeps crashing. My joiplay is 100% up to date so that's not the issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Guys, I can't get past the mission “Unknown Energy in the Cemetery” without killing Coconoa. Am I supposed to be able to unlock the dialogue to become her friend after reading the letter, or am I missing something?
This threw me off too, you have to wait for her to move then grab more letters she moves twice I believe.

quin2k Ricordi SthreeP Btw, is there any way to import this nun outfit and make it compatible with the current version? You can tell me the methods and steps and I'd be willing to do it myself if you don't have the time (although I have zero knowledge in modding).

Personally, I much prefer this modded nun design outfit over the og one in the current version.
EDIT: Nvm, got it working in the current version.

So uhh. Any idea how you keep the mercenary captain alive in the coastal fort 2nd quest “deliver a letter” this mission seems literally impossible because there are way too many enemies that spawn in at the third wave with the leather face orc. Can’t even bring Cocona because th skeletons attack the npc’s which kill your morale.

the questline breaks when the mercenary captain dies as well locking you out of the other coastal fort quests.

what an absolute mess this horrible quest is. Thinking of just ditching altogether and trying it again for new game+

I believe that is a stand-alone mod, as it predates the nun clothing introduced by the game.

Downloaded the new version and decided to do a fresh start playthrough since my old file from last year doesn't work with its save data in the newest version. However, for some reason in the newest version i can't barter items 1 at a time: it always deposits the entire stock which makes bartering practically impossible. Is something going on or did i do something wrong?
That behavior sounds like you're holding down SHIFT when you select something. That's how you move a stack of items versus just one. Might have something to do with your device or other programs open simultaneously?

So if you don't have an older version of windows you can't get it to work with windows? So far people win 10 and up have to use Joiplay from what I'm gathering?
Your entire computer crashes from the game? I've played it on Windows 10 and 11 and have never had issues - it's natively a PC game. JoiPlay is used to play it (usually with limited success) on a mobile device.

I would say consider alternative companions (whip guy and dog will just respawn if they die).

Also, though he's not on the default list, the Cheat Framework could revive him:
  • Open LonaRPG\ModScripts\_Mods\CheatFramework\modules\Revive.rb
  • Remove the # in front of "UniqueChar_NFL_MerCamp_Leader", (I believe that's him, anyways)
  • Load the game, F9 > NPCs > Revive Unique NPCs > Mercenary Captain (quest npc)
I added structure for every unique npc I could see, but wasn't sure which would break things if revived... so I left some commented out.

Ah right. I had an error where this mod nun outfit didn't display. Had to throw away the nun outfit on an older version of the game and rebought it in the newer version to display properly. Looks like it's actually working so never mind what I said before.

Try bringing Grayrat to act as a tank. Or you can bring this musket guy who's located inside the soldier's barrack upstairs, at Coastal Fortress.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
His ranged attack is slow but deadly. He can help you kill that masked orc swiftly.

If your Lona is a Succubus/Acolyte, you could use the divine items sold at a monastery to shield/heal the mercenary or any other NPCs/companions, on top of debuffing the masked orc's DEF/SUR down to 0 so that he would be easier to kill.

If your Lona is a Physical build, you could use the Saber to penetrate that masked orc's DEF on top of killing most incoming mobs with a bow or dagger.

If your Lona is a Mage build with a decent enough WIS (around +30), you can use Water Nova and Fireball on em.
Are sex skills reset everyday? I get some from dancer eork in the inn, but the next day all stats disappeared.
Can you show a pic of before and after the stats reset?

Is this location specified maybe?

E1: IDK how much stamina Lona had. Does it matter in this case?
E2: Welp, ok. I didn't know that. That probably answered my question. Thanks.
