nvm, found a workaround.
I essentially copy "!all_3_SKIN.act" from "LonaRPG\ModScripts\PaletteChanger\source_mc" to "LonaRPG\ModScripts\PaletteChanger\race\Abomination" and have it replace "skin_abom.act" from said folder.

also making an attempt to adapt the new clothes addition from the game update and RPG mod so it play nice with the booba mod. wish me luck besties

Is it just me or magic in this game isn't really worth it? bandits eat my fireballs even with 20 wis, water book does 1 damage. how am i meant to kill anyone without levelling 30 levels first?

magic probably the worst build in this game, expensive in terms of money and skill points not to mention most of magic abilities really good at friendly fire.

Magic is the weakest build early game, but the strongest and most flexible build mid to endgame. Also, ironically, Magic is the only build that can defeat Crimsom Slayer in a normal non-grindy playthrough without using any cheese like bomb lol.

One thing the game fails to communicate is that some builds are meant for NG+ because the power scaling for some builds isn't linear. A mage below 30 WIS doesn't do enough damage to kill even early game enemies somewhat efficiently but you won't have 30 WIS in your first run until very late in the game.

decided to lock in with the Doc outfit for now since the mage armor comes from RPG mod and I reckon less people have access to that. doubly so with the clothes locked behind high stat requirement.
just need to do the H portrait now. also the dirt.

Wished this game had more options for builds and gear, you can only do 3 kinds of builds and all of them have a favored weapon above everything else maybe + longbow.

4 kinds of builds since there's Mixed build as well that mixes all 3 builds (by not choosing any personality, exception being 'Acolyte'). Also if you wish for more build options, look out for Roleplay-S mod. I'd wait for the major global update of this mod first before playing it though since it will add tons of new interesting options.

There's very very rare times where old save won't work in some of the current and future version of the game, like you can't load at all a v0.9.8 save in v0.9.9 of the game. Otherwise, changing maps or doing rebirth is the usual way to update it, so yeah you should be able to retain your progress in any of the newer versions as long as there's no massive database change.

Only for major updates. Minor updates like these will simply give you a warning that some triggers might break by not starting a new save, while major updates will completely disallow loading.

Do y'all play as abomination lona? i've done a rebirth to try it out and desecrate makes the combat a lot more enjoyable, but bro getting sickly all the time is annoying, yeah it does buff your attack and thats nice but it also makes you SICK which is even worse since SICK doesn't go away if you use desecrate.

Also i'm getting vaginitis all the time since i'm always exploring and doing quests. As of right now i don't think abomination is worth it.

Sick can be easily managed by eating "fresh meat" once a day. Even if you can't manage & get sick/ vaginitis, it wont be a big problem coz you're still able to do tons of dmg anw.
