He literally almost killed his team and Lona for a dog. And all you get for it is a large copper coin.
Changelog says no. I pretty sure there are several generic animations that change depending on what hole is being used and the state of Lona.
Would you not risk it all for your dog, even if you had little to share reward wise? Does that make him a bad person?

It's still updating sadly, I truly hope eccma finishes this so the modding community can florish in this game.

417 is not making a sequel dude and the fact that this game is in rpgmaker is sum unique stuff
i hope the dev actually finishes the game and does not leave it at like 0.2 or earlier. That would be tragic
i reached good ending with cocona at version 0.7.9, is there any good or relevant addition to the game yet ? any major updates that warrant a replay ?
this game is a sequel of game he made before which never got finished, the beginning of this game talks about it
This game as been under development for a very long time, yet i feels like there is not that much content, it feels just like a long game because of the wide map, the many random and unavoidable encounter who slow you down and the high difficulty...
Some quest line or event are not finished and the infected land feels a bit empty, there is very few to do inside, the game is definitely great but 29 dollar for an unfinished game with very slow development is a high price to me.
[Edit] By the way it is explained from where come the infection? there is some in the sewer of Noer Town but i don't see how it is possible since there is no infection anywhere else than in Sybaris?
Also, i would have expected to see a quest line or something about the people on the isle trying to cure the infection instead of just fleeing it, it's a bit disappointing to just see that nothing can be done against it and that your main objective is to just flee the island, the npc who live far away of Sybaris seems not to care about it by the way and the ending don't say anything about it spreeding so i don't understand how the abomination work nor from where they come, the infection spreed in the sewer of Noer Town but the ending says the town as been invaded by goblin, nothing about the abomination lol.

The corruption comes from the Fortune Teller, she's the goddess of 'fertility'. Her and the Sea Witch (goddess of the fish folk) had a kerfuffle or something, causing them both to lose their powers somewhat. Those two and Justice, who's the god of the undead and the most powerful of the three, are playing more or less a pen and paper campaign. That's why the island is besieged by both the deep ones and the abomniations. IIRC the end goal of the game is to restore everything back to normal, the escape by ship route is just a way to end the game currently since it's not yet finished.
I do agree with the slow development. There's a lot of story lines and areas that aren't finisehd yet, we could use some more skills, weapons, spells and armors. Instead the rather lackluster updates during the last year or so forced people to start an entirely new game twice because saves from the old versions didn't work anymore. And for what? Mostly bug fixes, I think a new dancing minigame during a slavery route, one new outfit and a new passive skill. Oh, and you're able to equip panties and pads for your period now.
