Abomination race Lona seems to be the best one for soloing so far and idk if this is a known bug or exploit.
We can eat the same corpse twice if you desecrate again right before the corpse fades.
That and the funny combo for that katana* weapon when you hold basic atk for the 2x slash then you insta use the tendril whip for an absurd burst of dmg, 3x hits in a row in less than a second or smth.

And going farther in the fleshy region seems to show a ruined kingdom with some literal block blocks that prevent me from going farther.
I guess that's Sybaris?

yes the ruined kingdom is sybaris and its unfinished.. that was lona's home before it was overrun by corruption...the ultimate goal of the game is to eventually stop the corruption and save the island... but that quest chain hasn't even been started in the game yet... and probably wont be for a long time...

and yes abomination is the best for fighters and soloing... sea witch is the best for succubi(sex) playstyle immunity to STDs and +1000 to sexy and weakness makes it pretty obvious what sea witch is intended for... and moot is just... slightly better than normal human really...im kinda surprised that there is a hyrbid form for all the god races (deep one,abomination) except undead... which is justice's domain... why is there no half undead race? would be cool to be a necromancer like cocona...

yes the ruined kingdom is sybaris and its unfinished.. that was lona's home before it was overrun by corruption...the ultimate goal of the game is to eventually stop the corruption and save the island... but that quest chain hasn't even been started in the game yet... and probably wont be for a long time...

I also find it funny that an ordinary person like Lona can perform better than the actual mercs / soldiers but that may just be because JUSTICE is allowing 'er to. Smth smth DnD script and the other two hates Justice's mary sue MC.

essentially yes... justice is cheating a bit with lona... without his assistance lona would never be able to win against any of these people...he even steps in himself personally during some quests where lona would probably die otherwise... but he is essentially pulling strings in the background to make sure nothing too bad happens to lona... since lona is his chosen hero... its also why she survived the destruction of sybaris... because justice allowed her to... justice is the strongest of the 3 gods... and the one who caused the black mist is technically killable... but not really... its the fortune teller.. the one that talks to you everytime you lose... or when you win the game... the one you can meet in game... if you attack her she reveals her true eldritch form... and you sorta get the bad ending... because when you leave the island after that... justice erases the island from existence basically nuking it because you didn't play by his rules... (although the island would have been destroyed anyways really)...justice is more upset you didn't play by his rules and killed either the fortune teller or sea witch than he is about them actually being harmed... hes an undead god roleplaying as the good guy... hes an evil god like all the others... but hes ROLEPLAYING as a good god.. helping lona... and he gets very angry when you dont play the game his way...


also... yes moot is better statwise than human...its why moot abomination is considered the best race in the game...unless your playing as a succubus playstyle.. then deep one/sea witch is better... cus of the +1000 sexy and weak stats and immunity to STDs...

You can check each race's racial stats in health stats menu to see, though the effect is best seen in practice. Human Lona has no racial stats, basically an empty slate. Moot has the best stealth capability among all race by a long shot. Just to demonstrate how OP a moot's stealth is, here (this Lona's race is Moot-Abomination):

No other races that aren't moot will be able to sneak through ennemies this seamlessly while not being in stealth mode with 0 Scoutcraft trait, 0 stack of Dirty and having no items to boost SCU.

Katana offers a lot of versatility, especially if you spec into a hybrid build, like for example you can use its stun effect to give you enough window to cast juicing on an attacking NPC:

The ramping ATK buff can be easily maxed out by using a summon as a punching bag like the tentacle from abomination totem (the tentacle will attack back if its attention isn't focused on a NPC that didn't attack it):

The charged counterattack that makes you phase through NPC opens up a strat where you can build a living wall that's both protective and traversable (skip to 1:00 here to see it):

I honestly love these type of items that aren't just about doing big unga bunga damage. It doesn't directly powercreep any item, same way for most of the items in the game, just doing something different and having varied amount of functionalities.

I pretty much just rely on me getting gud and eating any corpse twice asap so my stamina and hp is refilled to full again since we can't get staggered while desecrating.

The usual strat of me sneaking throwing a rock then pull whoever is closest and kill 'em 1v1, repeat til' they're all dead.

I made her steal some noble's boobs, that's why she's stacked now lol. Jokes aside, it's actually a mod called Booba mod. It makes Lona looks like a shortstack. OG Lona is cute and funny but I prefer this looks of her since I have a thing for shortstack.

Yup, stealth is pretty OP especially with moot. There's so many things you're allowed to do while undetected.

Rescuing prisoners was my way to level up to 99. I'm not really sure if this is the fastest since there's other viable EXP farming option such as prostitution and rape loop. One thing's for sure though, getting to max level is going to take an excruciatingly looong time. As someone who doesn't like grinding too much, it wasn't a good experience.

Is RolePlayS broken?

I found it weird that after leveling up trait levels my stats remain the same so for testing I increase my strength stat to 99 but despite this my damage and atk stat were still the same.

This also happens with other stats, Constitution is supposed to increase HP and Survival is supposed to increase stamina but both stats remain the same, regardless of level.

I got the latest version 0.7.6.0 for patch 0.10.5. Also tried removing all mods and tested on a new save and it's the same thing.

Can never go wrong with shortstack but it prolly does break immersion when the NPCs call her flat-chested. So I'll prolly stick to default unless the dialogue changes w/ the mod.

I guess it makes sense why rescue gives the most 'cause it pays off a lot during the excruciatingly slow pace of their crawling.
Hm, I might just spam the repeatables then, maybe bandit hunting or crystal mine etc etc since I can just eat corpses for food, stam and hp.

I got the latest version 0.7.6.0 for patch 0.10.5. Also tried removing all mods and tested on a new save and it's the same thing.

The mod is supposed to be played with this specific version of the game

I download version 0.10.4.1, and extracted RolePlayS directly into the mod fodler and it keeps happening, also tried changing maps and sleeping to see if the stats change in any way but they remain the same.

They only increase once I level up, and trait level only increased my carry capacity.

The game has a placeholder ending at the moment, if I were to compare it to Fear and hunger 1 in case you are familiar, the equivalent would be like Ending E, in which you find Le'garde and just escape the dungeon.

As far as I'm concern there is still a lot of the main story that still has not been implemented and if you care about that I would wait until full release. Tho who know how long will that take, game has been in development since 2020

The game is technically finished, since years ago. All future content are just additions, is what was said here on the main page of the game

LonaRPG is a sandbox game. It has enough content to make you play for around 20+ hours (trial and error, gameplay discovery, quest, travel, etc...). There's not much going on as far as story goes atm. It's going to be a painful experience if you don't approach this game or appreciate it as a hardcore Dark Soul-like RPG game.

Cocona isn't a undead, also Justice puppet are squeleton only so you can't milk them lol.

Only undead with a actual body you can found are from the abomination species and can be found in the infested land, but then you will end up with a baby abomination.

Nvm killing Justice, we can't even get Cecilly on the boat yet, it's been so long. Tho tbh I do want the other 2 gods to be stronger, Sea Witch is pretty weak but even Fortune Teller isn't that much stronger than a normal abomination den despite her being the god that rules over them.

And what's the morality cap so I can negate the negative morality we take when we use abomination abilities in public?

no cocona isn't undead... but she is connected directly to justice... the god of undead... he claimed his tribute from her in the form of her arm... and in exchange she was granted necromancy..a part of his power... since lona is his chosen "hero" wouldn't it make sense to have a way for lona to gain the power of the god that wants her to win?... she can obtain abomination, and deep one powers... the powers of the other gods... but not of justice the one god actually supporting her? meanwhile cocona has it some random girl? i mean... it could just be like the sea witch thing... where the god itself blesses you with their power... cocona gained justice's power after all...

So after testing it and reading all of the description and the mod's author clarification, it's an actual intended leveling mechanics. The way it goes is like this; during the class selection at the beginning of the game, you're prompted to choose a class that will determine Lona's stats growth after each gained level. The only stats that will grow through leveling are the ones marked in blue, which are ATK, Crit, Mana, STA and HP. Outside of items and race, these stats can ONLY be raised through leveling, not through farming/attributing trait point ingame.

Cannibal doesn't affect Desecrate. What affects it is Bloodlust. Doing Desecrate with no Bloodlust will decrease Lona's mood, while doing Desecrate with Bloodlust do the opposite. Desecrate functions more as a means to assimilate or defile fresh corpse. Even as an abomination, there's still gonna be negative effect if Lona actually 'eat' a human flesh while not being a cannibal.
