Imagine Elise finding out, squealing like fangirl that just got her crackship validated and not-so-subtly feeding Bobo and Lona some ungodly brew of fertility drugs and health supplements in efforts to make one of the many inevitable pregnancies actually last to term.Imagine getting Bobo off the island via the ship, paying 10 gold coins or more for a pig. It's wack, but hey it's Bobo, I can make the decision for Lona and I think she would agree, Bobo > others companions because they all have their own scheme whileBobo is just chill, straight up deal or no deal.
As for the game's setting, I'm getting a bit of late 18th century France impression (Louis XV and XVI era). The overall technology level, the sharp contrast between elites and masses, the importance of naval travel and trade, the impeding/ongoing failure of basic food supply. Makes you wonder how much of Noer's bread is actually made of wheat and how much is sawdust and plaster. Noer could be one of remote colonies in the era. Where the man in charge is smart and callous enough to redirect people's anger against refugees instead of trying to suppress it by force.
