I checked the planned improvements section of this mod and
"-Fix & include summon options." -- Would this include unique NPCs? Because I've been hoping to see a mod that lets me summon Bobo right at the start to make Lona's companion without having to drag her across the map to the bandit base. If that's feasible, that would be great.

After finally messing with it, I've got it mirroring the old system. It's not perfect, however. Some improperly set variables can and do cause errors. For example, while it can and does summon Bobo as a companion... the contract is in a weird state because time is nil (no need/prompt to renew). I may have to make a custom menu just for companions that maybe pulls up their hiring interface

Anyone have the red dress mod? I have it in Russian but it keeps crashing my game

Have you all found the wiki and its mods sections helpful? Im checking in to see if anyone has had any experience with it.

Anything in particular you are looking for/asking about it? It's hard to give a good answer without context. Most of the mods on the wiki are out of date - generally the Russian site (see link above) or sometimes here have more current info/links. At one point I tried to post my updates to some of the mods there, but my contributions were so heavily edited that I figured I was causing more work for someone than helping.

Maybe it whouldn't be too hard to mod in a burger, define it as an item using rpgm stock graphics and add appropriate recipe to \Data\Effects\Alchemy

while at it my friend do you think it is possible mod a reverse option change from doom mode back to normal hard mode, or it change to food decayed mechanics making it impossible to change back?

While I refuse to interact with the drama and politics around anything going on regarding certain things in the game, I do agree some stuff takes you way out of the experience in a bad way. For the most part, the game isn't particularly jokey, and generally acts like it takes itself seriously. Lona seems to be presenting itself as a work to Adult Media that's meant to be taken as more than just wank material, with a story that isn't just there to speed run to getting off. While it's very much still pornographic in presentation, it's got more going on that just that and, at least to me, is something worth getting invested in.

So a hard cut to some very one the nose 4chan memes is really jarring and I do think lowers the experience. Its really not about if its offensive or not, I don't have enough stake in anything to be personally offended, it's just very jarring. If its meant as a joke, it's not a good joke, if its meant as political commentary, I'll be honest, its really no different than watching a random action movie and then it suddenly stopping to basically tell the audience that Racism Is Bad, or Trans Rights are Human Rights. Whether I agree or not is irrelevant to the fact its pretty unpleasant to just get slapped across the face with identity politics.

It's no less jarring, tonally inconsistent, and honestly, preachy than anything Modern Western Media is getting up to these days, just because its on the other end of the aisle doesn't really change what it is. Despite what they think, "Trolls" and "Antis" consistently prove the horseshoe is a closed circle.

At the end of the day, Lona is the developers game and they can do and add whatever they want to it. I'm not gonna make moral judgements while playing a game this overtly distressing and sadistic, but just in the same way Disney and Marvel movies are those companies works of art and they can do whatever they want, that doesn't make me roll my eyes any less when the internal consistency of a work is sacrificed for a bad joke or politics that are irrelevant to the story and world building.

As a counter-point, something like My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend, which is also has a lot of 4chan coded language and jokes, hits just fine because its consistent with its tone, the protagonist and the world its currently in. The rest of LonaRPG doesn't present itself in a way that wouldn't make suddenly running across very obviously opinionated allegories for Trans people or Jewish people not seem out of place. It's no less strange than whatever Dragon Age: The Veil guard was doing.

Ultimately, while I think its a valid and fair criticism, but for me, it doesn't really detract. I think its bad, but it's easy to ignore, or just skip through. It's a few minutes at best, in a game that can last you well over 30+ hours, even more if you do multiple playthrough. Doesn't really make it less jarring, but it's easy to move past it, at least.

Not sure what you mean - what would you want to change? Food spoiling? To be honest, I don't see the point in being in the higher difficulties if you don't like their features - the only 'benefit' to higher difficulty I could find was an achievement you could easily add to your GameLona.ini.

I customized pregnancy because I remember seeing someone say they wanted longer pregnancies in lower difficulties.

I feel like the merchant would have worked pretty well if it wasn't making that particular reference. Same dialogues and all just with a different portrait would fit right in. Opportunistic crook profiteering on bad situation all around him is an archetype that makes sense to be there - a version or Monsieur Thenardier or Harpagon the Miser that can exist anywhere where's commerce.
If you showed the game to someone unfamiliar with caricature and meme culture of the past... I guess several decades (if you can ever find such a person) the merchant wouldn't stand out to them. Though they probably would be very confused and possibly traumatized by everything else on display.
It's infamous because nowadays everyone gets the reference and it comes up so early that even people who dropped the game after first hour would have seen it, but in term of how severe a tonal clash things make it's nowhere near the worst offender.
But then can I really judge how things would feel feigning ignorance of external factors that formed them?

well food spoilage is one thing but it's more of minor inconvenience, it's the save that the real problem I had lost a few saves a few times due power outage due to how the doomed mode were supposed to erase the save once u load and it only create new save when u either go to main menu or exit the game properly, and this happen to save that I had invested so many hours of playing in cycles through many rebirth then one microwave burrito while someone else using the hair dryer poof circuit break time to start all over. After spending many years in doom mode for the achievements just want an option to turn it back to normal.

Quite a while ago yes
It tickles enemies untill you have obscene amounts of WIS and is brutal early since goblins have good SUR but weak DEF so you need multiple charged fireballs to kill one, but a single backstab if you were just melee.

Thunder book is good if you can sit yourself in a hole with only 1 opening. Spam thunder strike directly in front of you and it'll destroy anything.
