Makes me wonder what would happen if Goblin Slayer and Lona met each other. It sounds like the perfect spin-off where maybe, just maybe, Goblin Slayer might actually fall in love.

Thinking of trying this game out, but looking at the instructions it has this huge Read readme.txt before you play!!!
Does this game need some set up or is it just complicated to play and the read me is the instructions? Whats in the read me?

It's not too complicated, but heavily action focused and has a very interesting + unique system, so you need to get used to it before start. Fortunately the tutorial is quite good and covers everything you need to know.
Tho it's quite difficult on higher difficulty. If you are only for the porn you'll get frustrated.
Also I'm not sure what's in the readme as I never bothered to read it.

Orkind Slayer is obviously a parody of Goblin Slayer. It's so obvious that everyone just calls him Goblin Slayer, but he's no more than a parody and no more than just a companion/npc like any other.

To make him anything more than that would be a bad idea, for stupid reasons but good luck trying to change that.

For now, it's fine to play with outdated save file. But, if you really want to update it, try to finish the game by rebirth method(giving birth to moot/human/fishkin and then go on to 20G ending). The NG+ will have its own save game updated.

The game is difficult to get into, well for me it was, since it lacks better/proper intoduction/indications... and using alt+WASD to direct yourself takes time to get used to. Fighting draining stamina so fast... if you have an encounter approach and then manually leave, fastest way. Hell locations are even annoying, 1st game might be looking around too much and next thing you know encounters every second cause the longer you play more dangerous is gets. Also took me way too long to realise where I can "fast travel" to cities at Noer. Also don't forget language pack, you'll need it of sorts. The game is insanely long... well it feels like it for me at least, if I read comments. Sex battles I still haven't tried out like I said no indication you're doing anything when you press buttons also "cutscenes" take too long... pressing Space like madlad at this point.

Hold the stealth key. It'll speed through scenes and text.
I play on an Xbox style controller (it feels nice) where LB is stealth mode and also the "speed through things" button.

Perhaps I haven't seen enough of your past posts, but your carry-weight-ignoring playstyle is intriguing and mysterious to me.

Do you find it to be a high-maintenance way of playing, or do you just naturally come across enough resources to adequately negate the drawbacks? How much active effort would you say it takes to negate the drawbacks per every hour of normal gameplay? Are you constantly acting against the drawbacks, or do you prefer to stock up on resources for those purposes in big chunks, spaced out more?

lol. That actually reminded me of the time when I got so frustrated during the caravan rescue quest because the survivors kept dying/horrendous tracking, that I decided to just kill all the goblins instead. Can't lose survivors if there's no threats to their lives but me.

In general, I'm interested in what the author was inspired by. Doesn't he imagine this corruption as communism on the mainland of China, when after the Second World War Chiang Kai-shek could not keep the big cities from the communists and he saw his only salvation in sailing to Taiwan.
If he sees it this way, it is not surprising that he does not want to see a united China.

Thanks, now I have this cursed mental image of Chiang Kai-shek as a small woman, battered and bruised but hopeful as she sails away to Taiwan.

Depending on your difficulties, the harder ones prevents you to access inventory during combat and also there is a slighty possibility that you're going to get addiction for the said potions thus, I think you need more if your game difficulties is higher then normal just fyi.
