The game is punishing and demands that you try to respect the systems that it implemented rather than being forgiving and only implementing systems for flavor that can mostly be ignored. Obviously if you get *really good* you might find that some of the systems devolve to being flavor again, but isn't getting rich supposed to make money feel less important?

I'll suggest that if you hate it so much but for some reason still want to play it so bad just use cheat engine to make yourself rich and invincible or something.
Eh, don't bother. From the guy's post history, all he seems to do is complain in every game thread he visits. Some people just don't want to be happy or admit that it's not the game that's the problem.

I just browsed through a few dozen pages of this thread and it's not like I'm alone with my opinion.
Which is why I'm on a fucking pirate porn game site, almost none of the games are good enough to pay for.

The search functionality on this site sucks ass, but users here still chew you out if you ask questions that have already been answered, as though they are somehow in denial about the fact that the search functionality on this site sucks ass.
Indeed it totally fucking sucks, I can't even find my own posts with it. Fortunately you can still search the web with something like site:f95zone.to lonarpg followed by keywords and whatnot, it's better than nothing. Yes, better than NOTHING.

I died to the rats the first time I played too, but my first instinct wasn't to jump on the thread and say the game sucks and the dev doesn't understand game design. You happen to not be the target audience, but instead of admitting that, you decided that the game must be intentionally unplayable.

What's the point of complaining about difficulty, just cheat if you can't make it to where you want to go.
I actually died before I got to the first rate, but only thanks to the fact that I specifically used the defeat many times)
As a player who cheats in almost all games, since I play for the sake of the plot, on the contrary, I was able to beat all the rats and died only at goblins, because I was interested to see what scenes there were.
Of course, the rest of the game is more difficult compared to the prologue, but complaining that you can't figure out the controls is pretty stupid.

This game is pretty shit. I can't even beat a single rat without getting stun locked and then locked to crawling state and tickled to death 1 hp at a time. Fucking bullshit, game developer should take some game design courses.
Yes, for players that don't know what LonaRPG is about, the tutorial is the best way for players to realize that this game is not your average Hentai Game. It isn't bad game design. It is literally telling you that you are a fucking weak ass girl that can and will die from a rat if you aren't playing attention and respecting the game's mechanics.

The intro literally tells you all you need to know for the rest of LonaRPG.
1. Respect your enemy, even if it is a fucking rat. They still pose a threat and should not be taken lightly.
2. You are a weak ass girl and not some super roided out hentai protagonist that makes everyone's knees go weak.
3. You are probably better off avoiding unnecessary fights. The goblins literally destroy the shit out of you, even experienced players will struggle against them if they are not prepared. The game literally tells you it is optional. Hell, even the prologue is optional.
4. Teaches you the game's mechanics via the weakest enemy possible. It teaches you about hit stunning, STA management, Damage, Stats, stealth, etc.

What is your point? If the game devs wanted to make as shitty and unplayable game possible, then they succeeded. But no sane game dev would want that.

Game is badly designed either way.
It isn't the game Dev's job to hand hold you more than he/she is already doing. If you can't even finish the prologue but complain about "shit" game design, you have a flawed understanding on what good and bad game design is. The game flat out says that it is a " Cold... Grim... Unforgiving... Deadly... This is the world of LonaRPG." and damn right it is. The game's prologue is designed well as it teaches you that you are going to die, a lot. It is not your average hentai RPG Maker CG collection type game. This game is a proper Survival RPG.

If you want to criticizes the game for bad game design, please do. Point out where you think is wrong and how it should be done. Hell, it might actually help to improve this "Fucking bullshit" of a game.
Grow up a bit. Don't blame the game or the dev for you unable to pass the prologue. The game is literally warning you that this game is going to be more of this instead of wasting your time. It is actually save you a lot of time by flat out destroying you at the start instead of wasting hours of your time with false promises like a bunch of other games do.
Also read the reviews before you play the game instead of flaming the thread. Heck, read the latest posts on the thread to get a good glimpse into what you are heading into. The fact that we are fking 672 pages in and still making guides for this game and talking about mechanics (instead of other threads where they just complain about the dev not delivering on promises and other crap) tells you that this game is probably going to be way fking harder than you think it is.

Yes, of course the game is bad, and not you.
I know you are just trying to defend the game, but no need to provoke others. Just casually point them to the numerous guides, cheats, and god knows what else exists in this thread to make the game easier for themselves. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Its just... some opinions are just wrong some times haha. I'll give you permission to call people bad after you prove to them they are bad haha.

That's your tutorial quest. There have been numerous posts detailing hints and tips for the struggling player that wants to like the game but is finding the first mission exceedingly difficult. Get the attention of one rat at a time by braining it using the Throw command. If you stun it with that, keep lobbing rocks at it. By the time it gets to you, it should be sufficiently weakened.
Finish it off and rest. Rinse and repeat. Rest, NOT sleep.
The trident while useful drains STA like mad in the early game and the short sword in the goblin alcove is just not worth it. Your Wooden Club is just a better weapon overall.

Take the death on the chin and resolve to try harder and do better.
It kicked my ass a few times but the tactic I outlined above sorted it out for me.
I did have precious little SAT and STA left but after I saw the Gobbos, I just noped out.

I've since started over on Hell Mode.

I wrote a guide for the last guy that was stuck on rats. This guy didn't want help on rats, he wanted to call the game bad.

I think you are entirely correct in your entire post, it's just this particular point that I find really hard to believe sometimes.

Lol. Lona is just a weak girl... Its just the players that make her way to over powered. Heck, the fact that she can literally "crouch" and disappear from everyone's view is over powered AF haha.

Let's not forget that she also has 360 vision and the ability to see further than anyone else. She's also the only person that can throw magic rocks that every living thing seems to think it's the most interesting ever. Did I mention the magic rocks are also trap radars? This is what peak evolution looks like.

Does anyone know whereabouts the data for achievements is stored? I decided to update my game file by just clicking and dragging a newer version, but I lost all achievs + my unlocked CGs.

In your folder should be a "game" executable and a "game" file that can be double clicked and edited. The editable file is what you want to copy and paste into your updated game folder.

Get out of here. LMFAO! You're 12 or something... Then wait until you've growned up. Get a job and come back there to tell us how trash this world is and then compared it to LONARPG.

Looking objectively, the game is difficult for sure. Why? Many reasons, enemies stats being higher then ours is one, some a lot at that.

Traps could be another issue.

One that's obvious, is the massive amount of stamina consumed just to beat one enemy if your attacks aren't strong enough. And the way to recover from that? Simply sleeping, and that takes a lot of time. Why not have Lona recover more stamina from one sleep skill cycle? Or maybe when lona's attacking, reduce the amount of stamina it consumes depending on the weapon. Maybe even have a trait that reduces this?

Which brings up my biggest concern, and annoyance of the game due to this stamina system, time! Surely, if this is a somewhat reflection of reality to the struggling people, disaster stricken people, which it seems to display, although a fantasy world, it has to be logical to a certain degree!

With a rapid consumption of stamina, we need a replenishment of stamina, and in order to do that we need to have no hunger, and to replenish hunger we need to eat food, but to eat food we need to buy with our measly money, or search for food, kill it, be able to hold enough of the food to cook it, and keep it, then eat it to replenish our hunger.

This process, would be less drastically time consuming if stamina consumption was either severely lessened, or stamina recovery is greatly increased! This is mainly on when Lona attacks, because lona losing stamina, makes sense when attacked. But if that stamina consumption was lessened, or the stamina gained from sleeping was increased, there'd be no need to keep sleeping, and rapidly get more food. It's not a hard game at that point, but a flawed game!

Sure, The enemies being hard to beat, and requiring strategy is good, but the process of the stamina recovering, that is the one big issue of this game!

Otherwise, the game, to me, is good, I can't say for sure, due to the controversy of the game being garbage, or the author being garbage, or what not, but I can say that I like the game otherwise, although its annoying she keeps losing stamina fast from her own actions, without a way to efficiently restore stamina (excluding the herbs).

So takeaways for you lazy dudes!
-Game's stamina system is burdensome
-Why? Time waste from the rapid consumption of stamina simply from Lona attacking, getting attacked is logical, and fine.
-Art might be to extreme
-Me? It's a good game, for now.

Oh yeah also, can someone confirm whether Ecma made Feira Quest? I just might not play this game if Eccma either stole it off from the original creator, if he didn't create it, or if he hasn't credited the creator of Feira Quest.
