The pixelart is adequate, bordering on good, character portraits i would say are very good.
Sound effects and music are good, I would call them cheap indie.
I haven't enocuntered translation problems but apparently there is a lot of them later.
encounters are frankly dogshit, most of them are:
either you have enough stamina to escape
or you do hide->approach and then sprint to the border of the map.
Rpg system is pretty shallow, it really railroads you into only choosing important skills and then dumping the rest in one stat besides some scu. equipment is very limited, you can get most of it easily after doing 2/3 missions.
Repeating missions do be bad, it would be better to jack up rewards and make them not repeatable.
Fighting is really bad, it is way too fast to be interesting. Fighting while you have companions though is absolutely a no. It is way too easy to hit them/them hit you and aggro them.
It is very clearly made by fascists. The Taiwan independence at the beginning was a red flag because it reeked of "muh morality superior "
Lona "being 21" is absolute bullshit. Her being unable to nearly at all fight against harassment and having records of it written is such a distaste.
The jew caricature. The windmills of peace and happiness REAAAALLY were turning there.
The jabs at communism in multiple moments(even though it COMPLETELY takes out of the game)
The trans people disgusting caricature might have been the worst tbh.
The hentai scenes overall have that gross and dirty feeling to them and i am not speaking only content wise, but also image wise. I probably haven't even seen some of that stuff, but the whole game reeks of far-right snuff that destroys the game and the author should definitely have a visit from some agencies.

By far the most overrated game on this site. There is absolutely nothing here that justifies such a high score! NOTHING!

First, the translation, or rather, the lack of it. Unless you speak Chinese, you have to rely on machine translation. But guess what? About halfway through the game, the tool fails to translate most of the text on your screen. You’ll end up wasting hours searching forums for answers and, ultimately having to dig into the game files to fix it manually. To hell with that, it’s just not worth the hassle.

Second, the gameplay: Does your MC want to fart? That’ll cost half your stamina. Need to move across the map to complete yet another generic, cliché RPG mission? Not only does it drain a ridiculous amount of stamina, but you’ll also be intercepted every five seconds by mobs. Want to make a quick buck as a waitress? The whole bar jumps over you to rape, steal your itens and screw your stamina. And I could go on and on on the bullshit game design decisions.

Managing stamina is annoying, constantly quick saving/ loading is a waste of time, being harassed all the fucking time by every thing is a test of patience that kills the fun for the sake of braindead time waster of artificial "difficulty".

But all of those things mentioned above would not be that big of an issue if there was something worth grind for. But there isn't. The game is ugly, the scenes are few and far between, and majority of said scenes are just rape with different shades of piss, scat and gore (at least you can turn some of those fetish off). And that's pretty much all the heroge aspect of the game. You will get more sex scenes in a 2 page doujinshi which the first page is only filler.

How about plot? As far as I can tell its not the worse, but nothing to write home about. And since the late game dialogues are locked behind "moon runes " I have no idea what happens in the "end".

And that was my review of "LonaRPG" for you.

Game is brutally difficult. complains:
1. discourages exploration: moving requires stamina which requires food which requires money which you have awfully least of. So exploration is a no-go.
2. monetary system is ass: the trading system is terrible. you trade using trade points which reset to zero if you move away from the area so saving money is also a no-go. Worked in the bar only to get beaten by the lady and thrown out and I lost all my trade points.

Gameplay can be fun if the above-mentioned points are overhauled for a casual difficulty. At least make moving free except for combat actions and let me save my trade points.


played with cheats on and the story is pretty fun.

its one of those games that for most of you will not trigger your nut instinct, atleast i kind of hope so? For people like me however, it will trigger the hardcore gamer instinct, and youll try to survive and stay a pure virgin just for the challenge. the awful stuff that can happen and is happening around you also adds to the worldbuilding in my opinion. i understand why aaa titles will never add such sexual details in their games. but it definitely adds an extra layer of realism.

5 stars; not for the porn, but for the gameplay and the worldbuilding!

The game has a certain atmosphere to it. Grim, Dark, Brutal, Survival. The atmosphere itself is done well, but that is almost all the game has to offer on a good side.

But then we have clunky interface, lame passive tree, clunky combat, very few CGIs, I expected probably 10 times more looking at game age/amount of updates it had. Most of CGIs you get are copy paste repeat. And the quality of those scenes is not great either.

Also that you cannot really watch most of CGIs unless you lose on purpose is one of the lamest mechanic in H-Games. You either get punished for being a good player by locking out all H-Content, or you get punished by being a bad player by simply game-end/bad end. Either way you cannot really enjoy this game flow however you try.

There is no proper corruption here, like the one that exists in other rpgm games, even like karryn prison (I am not a fan of this one), but just for example it scales gameplay and H-scenes much better, and many other games in fighting genre.

Overall this game is Empty on H part. And as RPG it is so-so at best. I am not sure why would anyone play this.

Absolutely amazing mechanical depth for RPG maker but 100% false advertising when it comes to the beast content. You CAN initiate sex with beasts but they have no unique cg's. They all have the same human penis so whats the point? Its a real shame because the art style seems very suited to the grotesque nature of bestiality but theres nothing here at all. If you were looking for bestiality focused content as I was stay away.

It's about time I reviewed this game. I've played this on and off for over a year now, and it's absolutely amazing.

RPG mechanics, a pretty nice story with good lore, character customization, and plenty of sex scenes, but these can vary. If you do a whore build, the sex is pretty hot. Idk, seeing Lona cum on a orkind dick after fucking through a cave is *chef's kiss* . The rape scenes on the other hand... can lead to blood and bruising, etc. This usually only happens when you run out of stamina or you're not doing a slut run. So you can kinda pick if you wanna see this kind of content.

The game is hard, but at the same time, not really... Once you learn the system and mechanics, it's not really that bad. I'd say the roughest part is definitely the beginning, it's a bit of a grind. But once you get past that, it's pretty smooth sailing. If you try this masterpiece, I highly recommend starting off as a slut on your first run. Makes the grind easier and I think it'll help introduce you to the game.

This game is such a mixed bag cause its very fun AS a game, but all the H-scenes and animations are minimal effort and time-consuming as hell. With all the controversial and gruesome tags I was expecting something... less boring lmao.

I've been playing this game all day. Hands down, it's the best and most immersive RPG I've ever played.

So far, the quests have been interesting. Characters are well written. The art, and basically everything I've seen in the game so far has been great. Also, the dev is very based, you'll see what I mean when you meet certain characters and see references hidden in the dialogues and item descriptions

It's very hard and unforgiving, and it can be even more so if you're a masochist.

the most awful thing i have ever played. the combat is clunky and borderline unplayable, the sex scenes are horrendous and only likeable if you are into seeing blood and grime on every inch of everything. a lot of the characters are just lifted from nazi propaganda. if you hire someone they will attack you if you try to fight near them since your attacks will end up hitting them with the clunky combat, or they will die to the enemies. the exhaustion system is annoying at best. if you attack or really do anything too much you fall down and cant do anything if your being attacked. its marketed as a harsh game but it's just tedious and clunky.

Probably one of the best rpg hentai survival games.

The art could better, and there really should be more sex scenes that don't require combat. That's part of the mechanics though so I don't know how op would change that. Really needs an easy mode so you can make your way through the game, but having a hard as default game can be good too.

The combat is what subtracted the star. RPGMaker is not made for the type of combat this game uses. Its fast pace, clunky, and spammy. Theirs a reason most rpgmaker games use a turn based system.

It's not a game for a casual gamer like me. I was expecting a story-driven RPGM, but instead I found it to have complex survival-oriented mechanics. Visually and story-wise it looks very interesting, but I gave up because of the difficulty of the gameplay. I don't like the long learning curve in this kind of game.

Pros:
-An excellent survival RPG with a high difficulty in basic mode.
-The game interface is cool despite being simple
-The story and character building are good, but not original.
-Multiple ways to resolve scenes depending on your build.

Cons:
-EXTREMELY fast-paced combat, forcing unnecessary difficulty, since RPG Maker is not exactly made for this (this causes performance problems regardless of the machine, since the problem is the game engine itself)
-Content limited to the heterosexuality of even our character, limiting scenes, the succubus build, among others. In fact, this is what made me stop playing the game. The lack of this content, however, there are scenes without penetration and still contain action of being able to use the babies in the game for such actions... exaggerated and unnecessary (and yes, this made me uncomfortable, I can't ignore that the creator limits one part and develops another without reason...)
-Limited builds and limited development. Making one build deprives you of another...
-Lack of creativity in more complex development, since everything is limited to Lona for a good part of the game and even if there are companions, they are limited, which makes the difficulty of the game the same in all aspects throughout the game, living alone and isolated
-Lack of control and even options to prevent or make more engaging actions happen in the game.
-Forced difficulty: Literally EVERYONE can abuse LONNA without suffering consequences, but if Lonna fights back she is seen as a villain, her honor is lowered and she is persecuted????????
-Although I said there was no bi content, I was wrong, I meant only for Lonna, since everyone there, even the Goblins, grab each other...
-The game is only made to leave the player frustrated, not having any real difficulty, but rather a slow gameplay.
-The enemies don't get tired... Lonna climaxes every 10 seconds (literally) and this time can be shortened depending on her status and build. (yes, this tires Lonna out a lot, but the guys who grab her can cum 30 times)

A good challenge doesn't need to fap; it just requires to get better. When you understand the gameplay and how to create a solid build, the game truly begins. Although the game can be quite challenging, especially when you die due to some repulsive scenes that can be downright disgusting, it's not for the faint of heart. Even with all that, the game remains incredibly rewarding to win, as it means you've conquered one of the toughest challenges you've faced.

I don't even jerk off to this I just play it as an actual RPG. Can be a bit grindy, but only if that's how you choose to play. Very open ended, and really captures a unique, grim atmosphere that stands out not just in the realm of h games, but media as a whole.

Very nice, i have been playing this for years. strongly recommend. Yes, it is hard, cold and unforgiven but it is one of the best among all the game i have played. Yah! not to mention it is getting better and better and got updated constantly.

Game is BRUTAL.

Plays like a hardcore version of the old Zelda games, except you lose all your items and get raped (or even enslaved) when you're defeated. Basically appeals to people who get a thrill out of being masochistic, because there's so many ways for poor Lona to get absolutely ruined.

All in all, an expertly put together game. A bit buggy in places so save often. Completely unrelentingly difficult at times so look up guides and tips if you get stuck.

At first I looked at Lona and didn't think much off it, after playing for hours and hours, its become one of my favourite games and I can't wait to see the future,

Gameplay is 10/10 its extremely challenging and makes you rethink every move you do, survival element and sandbox mean you can play the game how ever you want.

I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a challenging game to play.

It is an excellent game, which demonstrates challenging and punishing gameplay, but rewarding as you evolve, it touches on many interesting themes as well as its systems, which are very good. The game's theme is dark while giving you a modicum of hope as you evolve

This game is very good. If it gets released on Steam, I will definitely buy it and play it again. It has deep and challenging systems, which I enjoy because I love difficult games. It's fun to play and requires you to use every method to survive. It offers players a variety of choices, allowing them to be anything from a prostitute to a hero. The character artwork is cute, yet the style can be dark and fitting for the game's theme. The 18+ scenes are varied and well-executed. I have no complaints about the visuals. The characters and story are well-designed and memorable, including both main and supporting characters. The dark humor in the story suits the game's theme perfectly. I can't wait to see it in version 1.0, and please release it on Steam. One more thing, I'd like to see more pregnancy content—just a personal preference, haha
