How do you equip ext slot weapons? Can't figure out how to use frag mines. And there aren't any instructions on the dev notes for how to do this.
I managed to make Lona have a Deep One child. At birth, the child appears human. I killed Lona to perform the rebirth, and when I chose the "stinky" option, it spawned Lona with normal eyes (not turning blue) and with the "stinky" trait. I went to the witch and fed her, but when she uses her magic on Lona, it doesn't do anything else; she just says, "it's lacking power." Could it be a mistake on my part for not being pre-Deep One?

Question. In arise village, the lady won't talk to me because she said she needs a mercenary, so I can't do the quest. What do I need to do to trigger?

Yes but what I tell is dat I manage to rebirt but just a smelly human not a pre-depone and do not have the blue eyes trait so i dont know what iam doing wrong
Oh I had that too, but I manually changed the name of some files to match as although the files were actually there, its named differently now, hence why the mod could not find it.

In character menu, enter Skill section and scroll down (under Dark Cauldron and Steal), there should be "Use EXT" which you can keybind.
Lona with normal (green) eyes and stinky trait should not be possible. Are you using any visual mods (booba, etc.)?
Anyway, after the Witch uses her magic on Lona, scroll through Skill section in character menu.
Maybe your "weak" is too high, try changing clother, getting better weapon, etc.
You shouldn't be using UMM in the newer versions, you might break something since it was modified and integrated directly into the game. This is also why NyxLauncher is no longer included.

but for the first set of traits you pick, the personality traits(Timid, Tough, and Nymphomaniac), are the "starting" traits and will lock you out of other traits
Where did you get the 0.9.6.1 version? I have the official version on itch.io but the latest I saw was 0.9.6.0.1. Is it the unstable dev version?
That was the changelog from 0.9.6.0.1
Either the version on the site has a typo, or the version in the readmeUpdateLog.txt file has a typo (I'm gonna assume the latter as Game.ini and System.rvdata2 files have 0.9.6.0.1)
