I'm never sure if a new update warrants a replay or if I should just wait until the dev is done in a decade

For the protagonist there's one new position added recently and as already mentioned there's two other types of partners besides humans and orkinds, the main focus of her scenes is the variety of details - reflecting her exact clothes, mood, injuries, percings, etc. in all positions. Then there's about a dozen other CGs for various NPCs unlocked by quest progress or exploration.
But basically this is not the kind of a game to play primarily for the scenes.
Relatively safe way to jump across multiple versions is rebirth by sailing, prepare eligible baby and money for ship in old version, save in overworld near harbor, move the save to new version and immediately sail off, the reborn Lona will be "native" to the new version. Rebirth by death or captivity probably won't work because that needs you to pass time or take damage, both of which can brick the game.
Some personal drama, forgot the details. If you search history of this thread for the name signed in existing english files, you should be able to find more.

The games is quite complete actually, and the dev is quite frequent with updates, it's the main page that takes a while to update.

human and moot = have a child of that species, Deepone = human like baby from a fishman, and abomination = give the trustworthy (mentally questionable) doctor abomination babies, the rest no rebirth allowed

Idk what the current problem is but I know joiplay can't port the most latest version of LRPG, it always has to be something previous, maybe 2 versions before or more

Proper ending: yes, and the features are mostly complete, the game does not feel like it's incomplete or missing things in it, the dev is now just adding things here and there + Qol features.

I was not negative about the game at all. It was a long time ago I played the game and it really was barebones. Pair that with the missing complete tag my assumption was to be doubtfull at first.

The game was intruiging even in the early days but I stopped playing because I wanted to wait for the final release to sink time into the game.
From what I read the game is halfway not translated in english anymore? Is a continuation for this still in the cards or nah?

I really don't know what really happened with the game's translation, but from what i know it's cover pretty much everything, but some quests do not have a translation, You can use the
