Nah, not while Jay still lives and breathes. Granted I don't suffer from MC syndrome but that whole situation reminds me too much of the West PAC Widows that would look for everyone and anyone to warm their bed while their spouses were deployed. However, my white knight tendencies aren't that noble if say somewhere along the lines in later chapters Candi happens to become the new Kat tragically losing her Ol' Man then of course (insert Name you picked here) would have no choice but to continue to fulfill that promise by stepping up and filling in.

Maybe I am just reading too much into it but I interpreted it differently as Jay only ever expresses, as Marvin Gaye once sang, "Sexual Healing", to Candi via the note and he also states whatever that may be while Mr. Magic Cock MC is left hanging to be there for "support". It all depends on how the reader/MC sees Candi. From what little interaction we've had with her she is one hundred percent committed and loyal to Jay considering they've been together for decades, kicked their addictions together, let alone tearing their home down and rebuilding it up from the foundations. I feel that it would take something drastic like Jaybird dying for her to find herself taking care of those needs.
