Btw is common for this type of bike to have the foot rest for the passenger so high? I have countless miles as passenger in bikes like the Yamaha v star250, but never Harleys or Harleys looks alike so I don't know how confortable is, Although I do remember using a bike with a foot rest a little higher that the one in the picture(can't recall the model right now) and it was not fun at all

On that style bike it is. There isn't a lot of options for passenger peg placement on a bare bones, rigid framed bike. Softail and swing arm frames have more options. That placement does put their knees in the breeze. I doubt it is comfortable for long legged girls.
