Long review short, I really enjoyed this game...

Nah, but seriously, the love interests are cute, and the game does the whole "love or corruption?" thing really well with multiple distinct paths.

The content as of now isn't overly vast, and doesn't appear to have much added to it since I last played a year ago, but what is here is very good, and the previously mentioned multiple paths add replay-ability.

The writing is good. It can be a bit long-winded with a few instances of odd phrasing but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Overall:

This is a clear-cut 5* VN. Super fun play. Great job by the dev.

I just kind of stumbled onto this one while browsing through recent releases, not at all sorry I did.

It's a great VN with some variability in interactions, there is a fair amount of creativity applied and it shows. There is quite a bit of content to play through, no stat grinds (thank jeebus!).

The writing is decent with few errors. I laughed a fair amount at some of the stuff going on.

The renders and animation look great, navigation seems decent and well thought out.

The insta thing is kind of funny and well done, but what I wonder about is how does interacting with it tie into the story? So far, it seems like it's just neat interactive window dressing.
The alex character on the insta is hot but i can't tell if she is supposed to know that the MC exists and is interacting with her on there.

In the time that i've discovered this sort of genre and been sampling it (a few years now). This one stands out a lot and ranks among the top 5 efforts i've seen so far. I highly recommend it.
I hope to see more of this in the future!

Great story. I loved it. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is cause I feel she was way too easy to turn into a slut. She didn't even put up a fight at all. You're like, here I'll shove your head down while you give me head, then push you to suck someone else off in front of me... and she's like, Okay whatever. LOL either way... It's heading in a perfect direction. A+

I absolutely love this game. It has it all - a lot of branches, forks, nice stories. The attention to the detail is spectacular, the realistic credibility of the characters.. I just discovered a new branch that I did not even found in the first release.

Played it like several hours and it was really fun! Looking forward.

This is another example that text, storyline and branches is the major key in a good "game", compared to a visual novel where $GameEngine is basically a PDF-viewer and just slides through images.

This is truly a fantastic game. I tried it the other day and ended up playing for like 5 hours lol... Definitely recommend. Has all the varieties from innocent girl to raging slut to taboo love interest.

It has been almost a year since I first experienced Long Story Short and was very excited to drive back into this fantastic AVN. I'm happy to see TTrick has continued to expand and build on all the different paths for the lovely ladies of LSS. I personally enjoy the multiple pathing and how the characters develop and interact differently given your choices. Yeah, it is a pain from a development process to track everything but I certainly appreciate the effort and I feel it has paid off and will continue to do so. I love the fact we are starting to engage with the other LI's and looking forward to seeing how they develop and interact with the others.

Additionally, with the move to the new engine, TTrick has taken the opportunity to change a few things up as well as do some enhancements throughout the game (yes rollback). And even some of the earlier renders got some additional love; going from wow to hell yeah!!!

And speaking of renders, since day one TTrick's rendering skills have been fantastic. DAZ is a crazy beast but the environments, compositions, effects, and of course, the ladies themselves are all top tier. His experience is evident and enhances the story even further. I'm excited to see where LSS goes next and strongly recommend trying it out!

Not a dull moment in this one. All the girls are top tier. Smart writing which isn't bogged down by obsession with cuckolding even though one girl is quite lascivious . Every character is likable. You'll enjoy this one greatly. Hopefully it's not abandoned.

First I’ll talk about the things I like about this game. The UI is solid and the renders are nice also. The choices are fantastic but unfortunately, there is more to a good game. The corruption arc sucks. It does not explore sexual fantasies at all and seems to destroy the entire personality of the character. Maybe my expectations were too high. The characters also look like blow up dolls.

Really good arts (models and production values), very professionally made game. However, I did not find the story interesting or engaging at all.

I only went for the "love" path or however it is called (I am not interested in NTR and luckily this can be avoided; and being an asshole in general can be avoided as well). Maybe the other paths are more interesting. But in this path:

The story (at least as long s I followed it) does not offer any conflicts or problems that have to be overcome; it is basically "guy sits in his room for 19 years, goes out once and meets a really sweet girl who immediately falls for him." The only "problem" is that, while she wants to have sex at some stage, she does not feel ready for it at the first or second meeting. So the choice seems basically to be "rape her" or "wait a bit". I did not develop any sympathy for the MC whatsoever. The LIs are OK but not really very interesting.

pretty great game. Renders are beautiful, paths for every taste whether it’s love/ corruption/blackmail/ ntr, and they’re all really well done. Vanessa is a really well done character with a great story line. I usually don’t play unity games, but this is a very well made one.

This is a solid game! I don't play too many Unity titles, but I gave this one a shot and I am not disappointed! The renders are beautiful, the animation is great and the storyline flows along nicely.

If I had any quibbles it would be two: The MC is supposed to be a loser who spends an entire year living at home without a job and playing computer games, but after one conversation with his friend is just knee-deep in pussy, despite doing nothing but leave the house. I probably wouldn't notice except the best friend's storyline involves him spending a year working out and changing his life. It's by no-means a big deal breaker, it just was in the back of my mind while I played. The second issue is timing. Things happen too fast. People change their entire lives/outlooks in less than 24 hours in major ways. I think if dev would let a few days/weeks go by between events it would help with the story. But again, this was not a deal breaker.

TL;DR : Play this beautiful game with great animations and solid story!

Started out interesting but completely falls apart.

The idea that to corrupt Ann you need to sexually assault her is disgusting. You don't get enough points to do that path just by words and suggestions you need to force your dick in her mouth and sleep naked and then laugh it off. I'm fine with and in fact loved rape/nonconsent play but the idea that it pushes her down this path when she barely knows you at all is laughable. Corruption should be a slow burn not face raping a girl you've known for two days.

And even the corruption path itself is disgusting and just lame. A corruption path should be about a sexual corruption and it should be about her finding herself and exploring her sexuality. Not her changing her entire personality and changing her entire life so that she goes in one week from wanting to be a doctor to wanting to do porn. Jesus christ dude. Make the acting plotline part of the sharing/ntr path not the corruption path.

Only redeeming thing about this is the renders and character models are good. But even then the lewd scenes fall apart because their like 3 frames max. The outdoor sex was pants down ->penetration ->ejaculation. I'm fine with no animations but jesus add some extra renders there or just loop them a few times.

The writing problems are so baked into the story that I doubt any future updates will fix it so for me at least I wouldn't recommend playing or following this novel.

A excellent game, look really realistic with textures in the skin's model, no like others games where the model look equal and doll's skin , a good interface , a excellent phone's interactions with social media , good story and diverse with many different decisions with repercussion, avoidable ntr ,

All I can really say from the jump is: WOW!
I generally don't play games in unity, mainly because how the games are structured, but holy shit!
Long Story Short is one of very few games on here that are the 1, 2, 3 punch of amazing writing, amazing dialog and amazing renders.
It is also a rare occasion that the moment I play a game here on F95, I immediately start supporting the developer! Great work Kamo! Looking forward to all your work.

Conclusion:
A short but replayable game (to unlock scenes/path).
Could be a great game if there are more animation and longer lewd scenes.
The Girls are nice, don't waste such potential.

Game had a ton of hype. Id browse the forum and see all the signatures. For months Id see the Unity Engine and the gorgeous renders and say PASS. Mainly because for whatever reason its rare for a game with awesome renders to get to the good stuff. Its normally a ton of groping and non-sensical cock teasing you have to skip through just to get a handjob scene. Well, this game delivers. For the most part...

PROS
- Every girl in this game is a hottie and while thats not very immersive WHO CARES its porn. They dev has somehow managed to achieve this youthful look and personality with the girls without them looking like photoshopped minors which for me would be an immediate turn-off. They are all cute with well developed sexy bodies. Petite woman porn the right way. Bubble butts, curvaceous hips, some even with huge tits but not in a comical way.
- Smooth sex scenes and the abundance of sex scenes
- Lead up to the sex scenes
- Dialogue in the Sex scenes
- Getting to bang the best girls in the sex scenes as opposed to filler side characters like other games would do.
- Bimbofication/Corruption
- MC is not the only penis in the universe. You have the sharing option but its completely your choice as it should be.
- Vanessa is such a fun sexy little slut
- Sneaky sex. The best kind of NTR there is
- Competing for the girls and if you dont take care of them or treat them badly they find someone else
- No wrong choice or Game Over scene
- Made me give Unity a chance after many failed attempts previously. Not as bad as RPGM and a ton of the features in this game are cloned directly from RenPy which is smart.
- Best 3-way on this site ever. Done perfectly. The one involving a camera and a drunk buddy. Mouth inadvertently comes so close to the penis...Other guy doesnt seem to notice. Absolutely brilliant writing.

CONS
- All of the stupid sandbox point and click moments. Needs to be even more skippable then it already is
- Unity. As mentioned before it works but there is no rollback feature and only recently we got a skip feature
- Creepy date rape drugging element in one scene
- Pacing is not a snail pace by any means but definitely can speed up a bit for my taste. Alot of girls are being introduced and teased but the plot is basically friends hanging out and banging out. Typical horny college-esqe kids screwing like rabbits. We need more screwing especially at this point in the development cycle (A year plus as of this review). Cant wait for a prospect of Super Slutty version of Ana and Vanessa getting banged in front of Joey.

Unity and RPGM sucks but give this game a try. Breaks all of the typical tropes that you get from other games with stellar renders and also runs surprisingly well on a crappy engine.
