Not all that much other than change the engine. When the original game is in something annoying like RPMaker or Tyranobuilder it can be a huge improvement and make the game substantially better. When I saw there was a remake in Renpy my first thought was "isn't it already in Renpy?" With this game and its Unity implementation(some are worse than others), it might make rolling back a bit easier and the save process a bit snappier, but it won't be as big of an improvement.

Yeap. TTrick did an amazing job with his custom engine. It's very much like playing in Ren'Py.
What's the point, then? That's like doing an amazing job with a handmade burrito. It's very much like eating at Chipotle.
Nah, a hand made burrito might be very nice as an experience!
I think the question is, what the developer enjoys, if it's creating an engine, let them do it unless you are a patreon.

I just found this gem thanks to RenPy remake and lost myself for three days exploring it.
90% VNs I do not even bother to read. An average story a is tired up nonsense. I scroll through renders or go to image dir in case of sandboxes.
Branching stories, the need to make choices and all that I despise slightly less then sandboxes.
With rare exceptions picking choices mean very little if anything at all.
This one is the rarest example and exception where picking choices do not make you mad but truly entertain and intrigue you.
Solid pick for my virtual VN Hall of Fame

How do i get this scene? i saw it on the other website and i never see this scene when i play anyone might know?
Dunno what the point of a renpy port is - the dev's innate engine runs crisp as hell and basically looks like most VN choice dialogues.

That image is included in the game, but I don't see it actually used anywhere. I'll ask TTrick about that. But the sex scene with Amber (pictured in your attachment), happens after you return the lingerie from earlier to Mario. Amber is Marios...girlfriend I guess. So, the sex scene with MC and Amber is there, but that particular image is not used for some reason.

I thought that once the engine change was made and the old content was already ported, the wait between updates would decrease.

And for a little while, they were. But he doesn't make enough off this to not need his day job and his day job had a big project that took up most of his time. It sounds like we'll get an update some time this month, though, I would expect it to not be a huge update considering how busy his day job has kept him.
I don't know how many people on this forum still live off their parents, but some folks have to work for a living and have families to support. The great thing is TTrick has always been transparent with us subscribers and has paused payments on multiple occasions.
