Tbf the Anne and Chris path goes netorase to netorare back to netorase. Ann was supposed to just text Chris and tell MC everything that went on, instead she went and got a secret boyfriend behind his back, after Chris convinced her MC would be fine with it.
I dunno, it never felt never 'ntrish' to me, and I really dont like ntr games but love sharing/swinging setups.
I am sorry but its not ntr you have to dont care about ann when he ask you if he can give her his number than your mc need to be a total dickhead and corrupts ann own his own shares her I am sorry but I would not call this ntr I would call mc a more dominant cuck in that case
ntr would be if you have average MC that is shy with ann falls in love with her and goes on romantic dates and than an antagonist goes after her (without your agrement!!!) and you lose her slowly but we dont have any route like this maybe there will happen something on college dorm with ann but who knows
Except the exact same thing happens on Ann's love path, where MC isn't corrupting her.
Whether or not he corrupts her is completely immaterial to the fact that on the Ann Chris path she does cheat on the MC by not following through on her promise to talk to him about what her and Chris talk about. She doesn't tell him that Chris wants to date her let alone the fact that she agreed to it. MC wouldn't even have a clue she was if Vanessa didn't snitch her out about it, so Ann was even happy to keep it a secret.
Ann's happily dating MC, Chris convinces her that she can date two people at once and that her boyfriend would be fine with it with no reason to believe that's true, she goes along with it. That's NTR.
Doesn't matter though, talking to you is like talking to a brick wall, I'll remember this if I'm ever lucky enough to come across any girlfriend of yours though
I would agree 'technically' it's cheating, but the tone and overall feel just isn't there- for me anyway. Maybe it's because Ann is introduced as completely new to this world of sexcapades etc - so the whole Vanessa 'do you know what she thinks of Chris....[She thinks he's her BOYFRIEND!]' I interpreted that more in an innocent naive tone, like she's a middle-schooler-emotion-wise and doesn't quite know how to classify him.
On the love path, it's not clear how her and Chris are proceeding. There are several prompts to mc if he's okay with this, but afaik nothing was hinted at or suggested. I'd chalk this up to less some deep deception and more just ttrick hasnt gotten around to writing the ann-chris stuff on non-corruption path.
so long story short, ehehe, you're both right, I think it's 'technically' cheating, and i guess 'technically' ntr, but it sure as hell doesn't feel like the other ntr games I hate. Chris is constantly checking in with him instead of taking the lazy-writing-bully path, this is a big part of it I think.
Or maybe a better way to put is in reverse: I have a strong suspicion a hardcore ntr lover would NOT like the way the Ann ending threesome played out, with mc having full agency.
Im not 100% happy with how it plan out with Ann corruption path.
Mc should be in power but it seems that Ann & Chris are quite strong.
I wanted Chris to just be a boytoy not someone that will steal Ann away.
he should only do what Mc allows, not more. I mean, if I pick that route
and I say something against anything it seems like Ann gets annoyed by it
so it means I need to just accept it to make her happy. not really a corruption for Ann
its more corruption for MC.
I'm 100% happy with the current- it's exactly what I would expect for her corruption route, she still likes mc, but shes more promiscious. I don't think the "boytoy" vs "boyfriend" distinction means much on the corruption path, and I think that's kinda the idea. Contrarily, on non-corruption there should be a significant difference between the two.
The real test or challenge will come when we finally get Ann-noncorruption path Chris story stuff, then I'll either come back and agree with you or say it's done well.
