The Steam version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.So there won't be any update this month? I thought dev is working on new update along with steam release
Listen if you expect an update and you are disappointed to find out that nothing has been updated, according to some uber-fans here it's you're own fault for believing it to be an update in the 1st place. So there won't be any update this month? Plese tick the correct box:so are there any new scenes
I really like the dev and wanted to support him(Still a student, so can't subscribe to patron). So i bought the game thinking it also contains new update(excluding above few scenes). why does it took 7 months for just for a few scenes. Now, I am in dillema about my purchase, not due to current update but i think at this pace of updates, it will be abandoned soon. The Steam version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.
It's not that i am dissapointed about the update rather it is about the pace of updates, I agree that it takes a lot of time to make sure everything is good to release on steam but the game is set to be released on steam since at least a year and yet he took 7 months to release the same old v0.9 with few additional scenes.Listen if you expect an update and you are disappointed to find out that nothing has been updated, according to some uber-fans here it's you're own fault for believing it to be an update in the 1st place.
I'm sure that opinion will incur their wrath as well. It's not that i am dissapointed about the update rather it is about the pace of updates, I agree that it takes a lot of time to make sure everything is good to release on steam but the game is set to be released on steam since at least a year and yet he took 7 months to release the same old v0.9 with few additional scenes.
First off, it didn't take 7 months. He paused payments for subscribers during times where his IRL job got too busy. Apart from that, getting on Steam is a lot of work. I can't emphasize that enough. Since I helped him a lot with getting ready for that, I can say so just from that experience.I really like the dev and wanted to support him(Still a student, so can't subscribe to patron). Maybe, i am the idiot here who doesn't know the difficulty of steam release. That said, I think I’ll refund it for now and keep an eye out and may buy it again in the future. Cheers to the dev tho, Great to see his game on steam.I'm sure that opinion will incur their wrath as well.
Understood. I guess, I am expecting a lot. I will refund it for now and will buy it again in the future(May help the dev more as the price will increase after initial launch)First off, it didn't take 7 months. As I've mentioned previously in this thread, he was also spending time looking for music that he can legally include in the game. While there's a lot of places to get music, a lot of them do not allow the music to be used in adult games. He also had to create the ability for his engine to handle music. He had to come up with achievements for Steam and then implement Steam's API for handling that.
There was also a lot of testing going on with Steam. It's not like Patreon or SS where you just zip up the game and post a link. It's more involved.
The game is not going to be abandoned. Not sure why people would come to that conclusion just because releases take a while. He posts on Patreon and SS and is active on his discord. And if you bought on Steam or Itch, you're getting all future updates for free. Not really a bad deal.
The price being charged for the content offered is very fair. He could have split it into seasons and charged multiple times, but he didn’t do that.Understood. I guess, I am expecting a lot. Hey, how's the new music they've added? The price being charged for the content offered is very fair. He could have split it into seasons and charged multiple times, but he didn’t do that.
I really liked the music; I think it turned out well in the game.Hey, how's the new music they've added?
Unlike Dexter, I need sound to play, so I play my own background music when I play the special F95 version, but I haven't downloaded the game from Steam yet.
Do you happen to know if Ttrick is interested in expanding the team working on this game (as far as I know he is doing everything himself) and with the release on Steam there are no such thoughts to speed up the process of new updates ? (I'm in no way offering my candidacy, I'm too stupid for that :/)First off, it didn't take 7 months. He paused payments for subscribers during times where his IRL job got too busy. I'll say he does have a handful of people that help out with various things such as proofreading and testing. He also bounces scene idea off a few of us and I've even helped flesh out some writing for him.Do you happen to know if Ttrick is interested in expanding the team working on this game (as far as I know he is doing everything himself) and with the release on Steam there are no such thoughts to speed up the process of new updates ? Tbh, I fell the game is very much worthy for $10 and I am happy to spend on it. It's just I would like to buy other games on sale right now, and when an update is rolled out, I will definitely buy it.The price being charged for the content offered is very fair. I myself think that Ttrick's renders are already too beautiful to be trusted to someone else, I'm talking more about having someone else to feed the code, as far as my knowledge allows me (it's zero) writing code is very time consuming and I'm worried that a new update with new content won't take half a year or a year again....I'll say he does have a handful of people that help out with various things such as proofreading and testing. He also bounces scene idea off a few of us and I've even helped flesh out some writing for him.
He's not going to hand off rendering to anyone else, though, and that's what takes the most time.
